Annual Family Beach Time

Ohana House provides a special annual time for our family. This was our fourth year to enjoy this haven together. Our host is amazing which makes our stay very easy.

Wonderful Stay

My family and I had the most wonderful week in South Haven at the Ohana House! The house and location exceeded all of our expectations. There is so much to do in the area (and kid friendly!). When the kids napped we enjoyed spending time out on the deck with the beautiful view. We would definitely recommend Ohana House and would love to stay again next year!

We returned to this comfortable home for the third time. Even though the weather was not our best, the vacation was one of our favorites. Inside games, leisurely conversations, walks downtown were all enjoyed. This is one of our happy places!

Annual Family Tradition

Our entire family of ten with five adults and five children all love staying in South Haven in the comfortable Ohana House. This annual trip has provided great experiences for everyone. The owner of this home is a gem. Whenever we needed support, she immediately responded. We have so many sweet memories in this home.

South HEAVEN!

A beautiful, well-appointed home welcomed us to South Haven. It is clean and comfortable, big and bright. The new deck is really spacious and I can see Lake Michigan from here. Fabulous family location

Stephanie is the ultimate host and the home has everything a multigenerational family could want for summer fun in Michigan. That porch! The view! Great location

This house was located in beautiful South Haven. It was a great size with plenty of room for my family of 5 adults and 2 small children. It could comfortable hold even more people. The deck was great. Quick communication from Stephanie. It was within a block walk to a Kids corner park. The park was perfect for children of a variety of ages. The house is located about 1 block walk to the blue stairs that lead to Lake Michigan. Beach by the blue stairs was great and not busy. It was an easy walk to everything in downtown South Haven. Would highly recommend this house and would love to stay there again.

South Haven Vacation

While we have vacationed in South Haven for many years this was our first stay at Ohana House. The house was beautiful and in a great location. We had some minor issues at the beginning of our week but the owners were very responsive and took care of things immediately. I would recommend it to any one looking for a fun place to stay.

This was our second stay in this home in South Haven, Michigan. Our family had a wonderful time in this great location. The kids loved the Kids’ Corner playground, the beach, and the playground on the beach. Our host was so supportive when we contacted her about one issue. We cannot wait to come back!

The house was perfect for our family. Very kid friendly.

This house worked very well for our family of 9 which includes our 5 yo and 20 month old grandsons. The kitchen is very well stocked including plates, cups, utensils and booster seats for the kids. Great location. Just a short walk to the beach and walkable distance to downtown. The house had a great deck we enjoyed sitting on and great play area for the youngest. If we make it back to South Haven, we try to stay here again.

We purchased this house in 2018 as a family beach getaway. We've enjoyed sharing it with other families as well over the past year! We live in Northwest Indiana (after spending 12 years in Chicago) so South Haven is a quick drive for us. We love spending time here all year round. My husband and I have two boys, 9 and 6 years old.

Why they chose this property

We knew this was THE house as soon as we walked in the door. The proximity to the water and the amazing views was a big selling point. In addition, the open floor plan and spacious bedrooms made this a great choice for us. We love spending time here, walking to the beach or downtown. We take our kids to Kids Corner Park daily as it is right in our backyard. With just a few steps to the beach, you cannot beat the location. Especially since you can watch the sunset from the deck. It is a great location and we've worked over the last year to make sure it is equipped for all other families to enjoy it as well!

What makes this property unique

The view is the best feature of the house, but over the last year we have put a ton of work in updating and improving the property to make sure it is perfect for all our guests. You will find everything you need here for a comfortable stay. We just put a brand new wrap around deck on the entire house, perfect for viewing the sunset. We also updated the back deck so you can sit in the shade in the back yard. The well appointed kitchen means you will have all the tools you need for entertaining and staying in if you don't want to walk downtown to dinner. Relax in the shade on the hammock in the backyard or enjoy some sun on the front deck. We've also made an effort to make sure people with kids are comfortable here and have everything they need. Having two kids ourselves, we know how much 'stuff' you need to travel with, so we try and provide at least some of that for you to make your trip easier:) We have a garage and long driveway for parking multiple cars. The location is perfect for going to the beach or walking downtown. The street is a quiet street and perfect for a relaxing vacation.
