Come and enjoy our lake house with beautiful lake views, (this house is NOT on the lake, but across the street. It does NOT have lake access or a dock.) Lots of property to enjoy and privacy in a wooded setting. Plenty of room in the driveway to park your boat so you can launch it at the Marina. Newly renovated, beautifully decorated and comfortable for you to relax and unwind. Fully stocked kitchen with all the comforts of home. This house is great for couples, families or groups wanting to enjoy the beauty of Findley Lake, NY. We have a fire ring in the backyard, fire pit in backyard and a double sided gas fireplace on the front porch for all to enjoy. Bring your own firewood. 2 kayaks to use. Just bring your life jackets! Just off the Chautauqua Snowmobiling trail, this home is truly in a great location to enjoy all four seasons. Within 5 miles of Peek ‘N Peak Resort and 15 minutes from the Lake Erie Wine Trail, this is the perfect rental for your next family get away!!

We really enjoyed our stay. There were 8 of us that stayed over the holidays and we very much enjoyed our stay. The location is great and was very close to Peak and Peak, where we skied. Overall a great experience and we would stay again. Very much liked the layout of the house.

A beautiful lakeside retreat!

This was perfect for our family of 7 to escape and watch the solar eclipse. The house was well appointed with everything we needed, the porch was a great additional space (must be AMAZING in the summer) and it was super quiet and enjoyable. I’d recommend to anyone who needs a 4-bedroom stay.

Nice place

Nice house, really nice property. Friendly management. They have there really nice kayak launch just down the road. Loved the antique store near by, also friendly lady there. Just a nice little area and just a short trip to Erie, Pa which is a plus for us.

Relaxing vacation

This home was spacious and decorated quite lovely. The house has plenty of living space and the beds were comfy. Two yards - plenty of room to roam! We really enjoyed having the kayaks and being so close to the public access to put kayaks in the lake. Very quiet area and this was a relaxing vacation.

Charm and beauty

We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated home, which has lovely views of the large wooded lot. The lake is just a walk across the street and there are quaint shops. We were able to snowmobile right onto the designated trail from the house and peak n peak is a short 6 mile drive. This is a great family location with lots of activities for all seasons.

House itself met all our needs. Plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and felt like home. Just wish there was better access to the lake. The only spot with a beach area was a campground down the road, and we had to pay $30 for a site to use it for the day. Overall loved this spot.

We had the best mini family getaway. Jen the owner was amazing and answered any questions we had promptly. Her house is beautiful and so comfy. Has everything you need and more. About 10 minutes away to skiing and you can snowmobile right off of her property. Thank you again!!

Ski Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful experience at this house! The photos do not do the propert justice! It is generously sized with more than adequate room for family gatherings and sleeping arrangements. We played games arround the fireplace and watched movies after long days of skiing. The amenities in the kitchen were awesome. Closeness to the slopes was perfect! Our non- skiiers were able to hang out at the house and meet up with us at the lodge for dinner and it was onlt a 10 min drive. We would definitely stay again. The host is very responsive.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time at Pfarrhaus! The home and land are absolutely perfect. Very clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed a lot of time outside riding bikes, kayaking, walking in the lovely fall foliage and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. The kids loved the trampoline which was an added bonus. They’re already asking when we can go back! The Findley Lake area is quaint and has everything you need. There are a lot of interesting things to check out in the surrounding area, which we hope to do on another visit. Jen was also very responsive, accommodating and flexible. Thank you for such a great weekend away!

Stayed here for a wedding over the weekend - Place worked out perfectly for our family. Even better than advertised, plenty of space - two masters, two family rooms - equipped with everything one could need. Most impressive to us was the decor - if it was done professionally - really great job - if it was done personally it might be time for a new career or side gig - beautifully decorated - with so many unique and small touches you could walk through house a few times and see something nuanced that you didn't notice before. Because we were there or a wedding we were tied up most of the weekend and didn't get to take advantage of the amenities or lake - but if we were going to come back up to the area - summer or winter - this would be where we would want to stay.

Perfect for a getaway with family

While initially disappointed not to find a house ON the lake (due to very last minute booking), we couldn't have been happier with this rental house. We had 4 kids under age 5 and it was so nice to have space to run, play, and explore. There was so much yard and the trampoline was an added bonus. The kids hiked through the woods around the house. They roasted marshmallows at the fire pit. They rode bikes all over the property. And when the kids went to bed, there were still plenty of spaces for adults to hang out - indoor and outdoor. The hot tub was enjoyed by all. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were super comfortable. And the property owner, Jen, was just fabulous - quickly responsive to all of our questions before, during, and after our stay. She also has kindly agreed to mail back something we left at the house, for which we are very grateful! Our ONLY complaint is that only 2 of the 4 bed rooms had AC units. This typically is not a problem given the lower temps at night but, it got warm and very humid for a couple of days during our stay and the adults in the rooms without AC were pretty uncomfortable sleeping. That certainly would not prevent me from renting there again - but I might bring a fan next time!

Wonderful well-stocked home and a terrific yard! Plenty of room for everyone!

There were 10 of us that comfortably shared the house - 5 adults and 5 kids aged 11 and under. Loved the fact that there were two living rooms, a great deck, access to kayaks and bikes! The kids had a great time on the trampoline and zip line! They are all asking when we can come back and stay again!

High tech required

We started out with some issues out of Owner's control - electric went out in the area for a few hours and then furnace didn't work. But the rest of our problems were from the information not shared and the technical devices required in order to function in that house. Couldn't get any TV's to work until we got the recreation room TV to work through a hotspot we had on one phone which then ran out of gigs. Other Tv's never worked. Couldn't get details of rental because my i-phone 6 doesn't have enough ios to get the vrbo app. Two of our college student grandkids left on the second day because they couldn't get school work done without WiFi. Two other students may have suffered from not getting school work done online. Grandma wanted to leave the first night with the cold and lack of TV which she has on night and day at home. We came to watch the Super Bowl and would have missed that because of using up all the hotspot phone gigs by Sunday. Saved by renewal of new month of gigs from start of new service cycle on the phone. Assumptions and expectations of the level of function of the renter is way beyond what we are familiar with. We are not up to date with the latest devices and experience with streaming, etc. At least the Owner/vrbo should have described what it takes to communicate with them and run the equipment in the place. To say there are TV's in bedrooms which we could never figure out how to operate is misleading. The decoration of the place and all the amenities otherwise were great - but I am a practical person. With a high price we sure felt ripped off by not even having what we have operating at home. We have a Smart TV at home. We aren't up with social media, but we all are educated - adults have bachelor's , master's, or Ph.D degrees. Three grandkids at Ohio State. This was a nightmare. I hope we took care of all the steps for departure, since I couldn't access the information online. I am sure we did better than the Owner/vrbo. I couldn't check my home security, on and on with related issues.
