If you are looking for a private getaway, 'Rhumb Runners' is the place for you. With million-dollar views, Rhumb Runners is the perfect villa for your special time on St John. Rhumb Runners is designed for open living. The great room has both living and dining areas that have been professionally decorated with custom furnishings and original island artwork. The great room offers 180-degree views of St John's Bordeaux Mountain, Coral Bay, the Caribbean Sea and the British Virgin 'Down-Islands'. Also includes a pull-out Queen sofa in the living area, fully air conditioned, and solar system with backup batteries so you don't have to worry about power outages.

Just a short drive down the paved street to all the restaurants and grocery store in Coral Bay. But far enough away to give you privacy, peace and quiet.

Rhumb Runners offers a complete entertainment center, flat screen satellite TV, DVD player, and high speed WIFI. Right off the beamed ceiling great room there is a private pool with stunning views. An outside dining area can be found on the deck outside the great room.

The full-sized kitchen, which looks over the pool, is equipped with new microwave oven, new coffee maker, new gas range, dish washer, and refrigerator. A NEW KITCHEN WITH GRANITE COUNTER TOPS HAS BEEN INSTALLED. The dining area has comfortable seating for up to six people. A covered deck wraps around the large balcony.

The second floor is home to the air-conditioned king-sized suites, each with its own private bathroom with showers. The second bedroom can be easily converted to 2 twin beds. Both bedrooms have a spacious feel due to high-beamed ceilings and large windows.

Please note, that during high season, we rent from Saturday to Saturday.

The property had everything we wanted for our stay in Coral Bay. A beautiful view that includes not only Coral Bay but Tortola, Virgin Gorda and Norman Island. It had a well stocked kitchen, a nice pool and it was very clean. The property manager, Dwight, was very accommodating. We look forward to booking it again in the future.

We had a great stay with beautiful views. Little bit of a drive up five switchbacks to get to the house and a heavy gate. But the communication in the cleanliness were wonderful. One recommendation to the owners would be for more bath towels. We had four guests and only four bath towels for five days. There is a washer and dryer though we love the views we loved the quiet coral Bay atmosphere highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed at Rhumb Runners with our two kids (12 and 9) and loved every minute of it! The view over Coral Bay is even better in person, and the sun rises were worth waking up for. The home had everything we needed for an extremely fun, relaxing, and comfortable week. The pool was great to enjoy after a day of exploring the island, and the constant breeze on the hillside made the A/C pretty much unnecessary. Chris was super easy to work with, and the property manager, Dwight, was very helpful and communicative throughout the week. There were so many pleasant surprises like the Bananaquits and Hummingbirds that fly around the deck, the ‘hidden’ washer and dryer which we didn’t need to use but was a nice amenity to offer, the music that drifted up from the bar every night, Netflix on the TV (kids loved having that), and did I mention the view? :). I’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us!

Chris was helpful and easy to communicate with..the house was clean,well equipped and the beds comfortable. The view is outstanding but the road to it very steep with tight switchbacks. If you're timid driver you might find it challenging. Upside is that it's very private but only 3 minutes down the hill to town.I would be happy to stay here again

The Peaceful Side of St. John

The home is exactly as stated in the description. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. We slept with the windows opened to enjoy the breeze. The pool is perfect after a day at one of the beautiful beaches. A 4- wheel drive is highly recommended for the drive up to the home.

Beautiful home with stellar views! The constant breeze on the deck was amazing. Pool was perfect for post beach dips. The beach towels, chairs and cooler were much appreciated. Great size for a family of 4 (two twin beds worked well for our girls ages 7 and 11). Host was super helpful with travel tips. Sweet cottage with brilliant sunrises and pool!

We loved watching the bananaquits at sunrise and enjoyed the pool in the afternoon when we returned from the beach. The living area was big enough to host some family members for dinner and the deck large enough to enjoy a couples massage overlooking Coral Bay. The kitchen was easy to use and having a washing machine was a big plus. Host was super responsive. We’d definitely stay again!
