Enjoy your morning coffee on the spacious front porch, there is comfortable seating for 4 in the middle, each bedroom features large French doors that open to a more private seating area with beautiful teak furniture. The pool deck features lounge chairs, comfy teak loveseats, tall palms and a nice view of Coral Bay Harbor. Blue Kai was built for relaxing!

Kim was a great host and the house was outstanding. The kitchen was very well appointed for meals in. The deck has stunning views of Coral Bay and cool breezes. The pool got great afternoon sun so it was never too chilly to enjoy. Plenty of room for two couples.

Kim was an amazing Host & the home offered absolutely breathtaking views of Coral bay. Perfect for 2 couples the house has 2 Master Bedrooms with separate Bathrooms and outdoor shower. In addition to an amazing walk around deck , perfect swimming pool deck , the Kitchen and amenities were perfect. Cannot wait to get back there again.

This home is nicely situated close to Coral Bay, at the quiet side of the island. It was immaculately clean and well stocked, including beach chairs, towels, and any needed kitchen gadgets. The outdoor shower was a delight!

Beautiful and well appointed home!

We loved our stay at Blue Kai. The home has everything you need and Kim was very quick to respond to any questions. They have all the gear you need for a day at the beach - chairs, coolers, etc. The house is very comfortable - we enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck taking in views of Coral Bay. The pool is great after a long day at the beach and the outdoor showers are amazing!! Location is great - very quiet! We can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic!

Great place to stay on St John! Easy to get to and very easy to go to beaches and amenities on the island. Then for a down day, take in the beautiful view from the pool and her outside patio even at night with the stars! Good bar/restaurant/nice little shopping place just down the hill. Host Kim is so wonderful and accessible too! Enjoy!

Amazing house -super clean, well-stocked with pots/pans, blender, coffee maker, towels, beach stuff and more. A/C in the bedroom was a big plus as was the washer/dryer. Kim was great in every step of the way -from meeting us to checking in, to staying in touch in case we needed anything. As mentioned elsewhere, roads were a bit tricky to navigate -especially at night and after some heavy rains so 4x4 definitely recommended. Pool was great, made it even easier to want to come back a little early and relax onsite --pictures and descriptions are spot on…wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

This was a fantastic villa! The layout, amenities, the cleanliness was top notch! The beds and furniture were comfortable, the outside shower was very nice and good water pressure, kitchen was well-stocked with condiments… everything we would need was there! Very pleased! Kim is the sweetest and very accommodating— communication was very prompt and easy to talk to. The location was very quiet and peaceful, too!

Perfect getaway location

This beautiful property is perfect for 2 couples. Comfortable beds, great kitchen with all the accessories, and the pool area is beautiful. Everything you need to go to the beach is there for you to use. Driveway access requires 4 wheel drive and there is a staircase up to the main level from the driveway. This note is for those with mobility and access limitations.. Kim and her husband were responsive and wonderful to work with. We can't wait to go back!

Perfect for 2 couples

We loved sitting on the very comfortable chairs on the deck each morning and evening enjoying the view and the stars at night. The house gets the afternoon sun so there is no shade when sitting outside but as a result the pool was warmer than most places we've rented. The only drawback is the unpaved steep driveway to the house. Be prepared for a bumpy ride.

This house was perfect in every way. Clean, uncluttered but well furnished with nice pieces. Two master suites offered privacy but the great room and kitchen that separated them allowed for easy time together and if you choose, meal prep & eating at the lovely kitchen table or kitchen island. The pool was sparkling clean, the teak outdoor furniture was great, overall this was a true gem. So happy to give Kim a five star rating in every category, she was attentive and friendly. Loved our 10 day stay. Would love to go back, hope to do just that !

Christmas in Paradise

Our family has stayed in Coral Bay on St. John for many years. Blue Kai is centrally located on St. John with easy access to staples like the dolphin market and skinny legs. The house is well suited for two couples, but missing a few typical amenities found on the island (games/puzzles, nutmeg grinder (essential for painkillers!), beach umbrella). Mosquitos were bad during our stay both inside and outside the house (might be time of year). Bed pillows need a major upgrade. All in all our family had a great time, but with a few amenities upgrades our stay would have been much more comfortable and enjoyable.

Lovely 2 bedroom home with fabulous kitchen

This villa was clean and had everything you could need. Plenty of fluffy towels, comfortable bedding and pillows, and a well stocked kitchen with new pots and pans, dishes, silverware and every appliance you could need. There are two identical king bedrooms and each has an outdoor shower. The only negative was the driveway which is steep and rocky. Our car couldn't make it up the drive so we parked below and hiked up. I would recommend getting a high clearance Jeep Wrangler. Kim and her husband were great hosts and helpful with navigating the driveway.

Fabulous house in Coral Bay

The house is absolutely amazing! The split floor plan worked perfectly as we were two couples allowing for adequate shared space and privacy. The house is nicely furnished. Everything you need or could want was available. The pool and balconies have a stunning view of Coral Bay. Kim our host met us in town to escort us to the property (internet map programs leave something to be desired in the USVIs). She provided us with the general layout of thr Island and recommendations for grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, beaches, etc. She even went above and beyond and arranged to have her husband fix the flat tire on our rental car!!! If you are planning a trip to St John Blue Kai is the house to rent. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely rent again when we return for our next vacation!

AMAZING

From start to finish we had a wonderful stay! We have rented many places over the years and this villa was the best equipped- plenty of towels, both beach and shower- beach chairs, coolers , noodles etc. well equipped kitchen, amazingly comfortable beds - sparkling clean pool with super comfy pool furniture- and SO clean. We could hardly drag ourselves away to hit the beaches. Coffee on the deck each morning was a highlight as was wine around the pool in the evenings. Perfection. Kim was an excellent host and very communicative. We felt like we had a friend at the other end of the phone . The driveway could be intimidating for some, but with a jeep and 4W drive we were able to navigate up to the house and this did not detract from our joy at returning each day to this lovely home. We hope to return soon!

My Favorite House in Coral Bay!

This House is in a beautiful location. Its sits up high on a hill above Coral Bay with amazing views. Its very secluded and quite. It has a large great room with large bedrooms and bath rooms. Every room has sliders to the deck which we left open to let the tropical breezes flow through the house. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck especially at night. The owner Kim is the best. Our flight from Boston was delayed 8 hrs. We called her late our first night and she met us after 11pm an brought us up to the house. Kim lives near buy and we stopped on the road one day to say Hi as she was walking down the road. She was taking a baby lamb for a walk and had a baby bottle of milk in her pocket for the lamb. Kim is a special person. We called her numerous times with questions about the ferry and airport in St Thomas. She was so helpful. I can't say enough about our stay at this great house!! Perfect stay in Coral Bay!!

Our family of 3 couldn't be happier with our stay at Kim's property at Seagrape Hill in Coral Bay. Communication with Kim was always prompt and accurate. Check-in to the house was seemless and Kim showed us all the property had to offer (a lot). The house is well stocked with everything you would need in both the kitchen and for the beach. One of our favorite parts (there were many) about the house is how clean it is. After staying at numerous vacation properties over the years, Kim's is one of the very few that you actually have clean bottoms of your feet after walking around the house! Another pet peeve of ours on vacations that this property absolutely nailed is the comfort of the beds. Super comfortable with clean and fresh sheets made nights a pleasure! A final favorite of ours were the outdoor showers. Absolutely beautiful and always refreshing after a day at the beach! The view of Coral Bay is wonderful, especially from the pool. We also used the grill, stovetop and oven during our stay and had zero issues with any of them. The property is quiet and private - tucked away at Seagrape Hill, yet super close to Skinny Legs and the Coral Bay dock, and only minutes away from Coral Bay's "center". Maho and Francis are a short drive away and you are also much closer to Salt Pond than staying on the Cruz Bay side. We couldn't recommend this property enough and will be sure to be back on our next trip back to Coral Bay!

Perfection in Paradise :)

This house is absolutely perfection on St. John! I was nervous about there not being any reviews but I'm SO glad we booked it. Kim was an amazing host - she met us in Coral Bay, took us to the house and showed us around. She was a great resource for where to eat and was always accessible, any time of day! The house was exactly as listed. Very clean. Fully stocked kitchen. It was just what we (2 adult couples) needed. The 2 master suites are mirror image of each other and opposite ends of the house. Outdoor showers are a must on St. John and these did not disappoint! The pool was a nice size, well maintained and wonderful to dip in after a day at the beach. The views from the porch were amazing. Literally everything you could need for a day at the beach (towels, chairs, coolers, beach bags, ice packs) are included with the house. I truly can't say enough good things about Kim and her home. You won't regret renting from her! 5 Stars!
