The location is unique and charming street is very quiet and is a short walk from the Spanish Steps and the wonderful steps of Trinita dei Monti, one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The apartment of approx 70 sqm is located on the 1st floor of a building with a large bright living room, with bookcase, desk, sofa chair and a steel kitchenettes fully equipped with a large dining table, a comfortable master bedroom with several closets and a beautiful marble bathroom with tub and shower.
E 'equipped with every comfort: hardwood floors throughout the house, air conditioning, heating, WIFI internet connection, LCD TV with digital terrestrial channels, stereo, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, dishes, pots and dishes of all kinds, oven , hair dryer, toaster, juicer and Nespresso machine.
It can accommodate up to 4 guests being equipped with a new and comfortable sofa bed.

Quiet location in the center of Rome

We loved our stay at this apartment. We visited with two kids ages 4 and 5. The apartment is close to both the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain. Great restaurants and shopping nearby. Paola gave us restaurant recommendations and they were our favorite meals of the trip! Highly recommend this apartment!

A lovely stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this modern, well equipped apartment. It is on a lively street, but quiet at night. Great shower, although you do have a big step up into the tub. Excellent central location with market next door, many restaurants and easy access to Rome’s sights. Phyllis Highly recommend.

Spectacular location you can walk everywhere. Literally in the heart of the old city. The apartment is as advertised every thing you will need to be comfortable. You will be fortunate to book this one.

At home in Roma

Amazing time in Roma and this location is a dream. Paola is super helpful and communicative, you can walk anywhere from here. Bed is comfortable! Wifi doesn't reach the bedroom, but that is the only critique I can think of. Youll be too tired to use it anyway! Would stay again and hope to!

Spendid apartment

Very comfortable apartment in the Spanish Steps area. Relatively quiet street for a lively neighborhood, well furnished, close to the metro and attractions. Lina was attentive and responsive. A real pleasure to return at the end of a hard day touring and be able to put our feet up and relax. Lina had good restaurant recommendations, and the neighborhood had a good grocery store for all the necessities. We would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Great host, great apartment!

Due to a cancelled flight, we arrived at 3AM at the apartment and our host met us! We are so grateful for that. The apartment had everything we needed and more and just a short walk to the Spanish Steps! We were visiting to attend the Ryder Cup and being so close to the metro was a plus for us. The apartment did lose power briefly on our last night but came back on a short time later. The bedroom is in the back of the unit and was very quiet. Great stay!

Rome in December

We had a terrific stay at Paola’s apartment for our week visit in early December. The location is perfect - very safe and convenient to most key sites in central Rome. Many terrific restaurants and shopping nearby too. The apartment was exactly as described - super clean and very comfortable for two of us. Just be aware of the steps from the street to the “1st floor” if you have mobility issues. It was fine for us. We highly recommend and would definitely stay at this wonderful apartment again.

Close to Perfection in Rome with a Dolce Vita Ambiance

We enjoyed our nine-night stay in Paola’s apartment. The location is excellent—a five minute walk to either the Spanish steps or the Fontana di Trevi and taxi-stands nearby. The apartment was very clean and Paola met us on our arrival to explain how everything worked. Communication with Paola was always excellent both before and during our stay—WhatsApp is the preferred communication method. The street on which the apartment is located—Via della Vite—is ironically a ‘true’ neighborhood yet located in an area that is otherwise not unknown to tourists; there were both shops any Roman resident would want such as mini-marts, barbers and a wonderful gelateria (La Strega Nociolla—highly recommended!) as well as excellent restaurants and higher-end shops. Regarding nearby restaurants, Life Ristorante was particularly good (on Via della Vite), with Ristorante A ’34 on Mario di Fiori excellent as well—both recommended by Paola. Booking a table at any restaurant in which you’re interested is highly recommended. Every apartment has its pros, and any ‘cons’ are often a question of personal preference. The “Pros” of course are the apartment itself, its location and Paola’s availability. The only reasons for a four-instead-of-five-star rating, for us, would be the absence of a micro-wave in an otherwise well equipped kitchen, and the 18 stairs necessary to get to the first [European] floor, though these stairs were no real issue for this couple in their mid-seventies. Again, both these items are questions of personal preference; we’re happy we stayed in Paola’s apartment and are pleased to recommend it.

Primo location and a terrific host!

Paola was fantastic in arranging our travel from the FCO airport and met us despite flight delays at the apartment. She also arranged for a driver to take us to the port for our follow-on cruise. I had no idea at the time, but there are any number of services (guides, personal shoppers, in-apartment chefs, and drivers) she can arrange. Communication with before and during was prompt and accurate, making check in and out easy. Whether provided or left behind by prior guests, there was a variety of beverages and foods one have a quick drink or snack. Certainly did not expect and one of the little things that made this such a joy. Location, location, location! First, must do sights such as the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain are very easy walking distance. Taxis can be found in one of several squares minutes away. Other amenities include Life restaurant a few doors to the right, as well as a pharmacy just little further down (which could do a COVID test on a Saturday evening). My wife thought the place, Paola, and location was spectacular. And we got great sleep despite the time zone adjustments! I hope my review encourages you to pick this place - but not so much that we cannot book it our next time in Rome for a couple of days!

Wonderful apartment near the Spanish steps

This 1 bedroom apartment was a wonderful place to stay in Rome. It was close to everything but on a small relatively quiet street. It had all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

If you are going to Rome to see the sights of Rome, enjoy Italian food and have a great - quiet and comfortable - place to stay that feels like home – look no further! The description of the apartment provided by Paola (the owner) and the reviews provided by prior people are all accurate and if anything - the apartment may even be better than as described by other reviewers on the website. Paola was easy to contact and very responsive to questions - not only regarding the apartment - but also in helping us with questions and providing suggestions that enhanced our stay. The check-in and check-out process was easy, with no language issues (English). We didn't do any serious cooking or meal preparation but looked like the apartment was well equipped if you wanted to do that. So again - if you are looking for a place in Rome to use as a base to see the sights and have access to a good variety of good restaurants in a well-equipped, quiet and hassle-free apartment - you should grab this apartment if it is available. The only potential negative we could think of that may be important is that there are something like 13 steps you will need to walk up to the second floor apartment - that's the only thing we could think of as a reason to avoid this apartment. Thanks to Paola for a great stay!

Great apartment right in the center of the best part of Rome

We enjoyed the apartment and our stay in Rome. The apartment had everything and Paolo had stocked the refrigerator, etc with a few things which was nice. Paola also explained all in detail and gave us some of her personal recommendations for things not to miss. The location is probably one of the best in central Rome and is walking distance to everything. Tons of restaurants and markets, including a really nice market a few doors down. This is also in a very high end fashion/shopping district. We do not shop on vacation but if you do, this is the spot! What we loved about the apartment most, besides the location, was the two windows opening onto the street. Nice french doors that really made you feel like you were experiencing Rome like a "local."

Perfect location for touring Rome

We can't say enough good things about this apartment and its owner. We chose the apartment for its location and we were not disappointed- we could easily walk to many of the main attractions including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navonna. The cab station was just about a block away and there were two nice restaurants just down the street. A convenience store was just a few feet away from the entrance to the apartment. The apartment itself was comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with water, juices, coffee, tea, cookies and pastries so that we didn't have to go out for breakfast; plus a bottle of wine for us to enjoy in the evening. This was the first leg of our three week tour of southern Italy, so the washing machine was very useful- we left Rome with suitcases full of clean clothes. Paola provided the detergent, drying rack, iron and ironing board so we didn't have to spend time tracking down sundry items. The bathroom was as nice as it looked in the photos. Paola was incredibly helpful- she arranged our transport from the airport and provided us with a detailed list of restaurants, attractions, etc. My only reservation, and it is a minor one, is that we had to haul our luggage up one flight of stairs to get to the apartment. Paola helped us to bring it up and the driver helped us to get it downstairs when we left to pick up our rental car. Will we stay here again on our next trip to Rome- definitely!!

Well kept, well located, well stocked!

The apartment was exactly as advertised. It was comfortable, spacious for 2, and extremely conventional located. We were able to walk to the Vatican , the Coloseum, and the Trevi Fountain. The Spanish Steps were less than a 5 minute walk. Our only issue was the 19 steep stairs to the apartment, but we were grateful for the assistance with our luggage.

Very nice apartment in an ideal location. Apartment is close to all major sites and metro. Rome is a walking city and we felt as if we were located in the center of it all. Apartment had very good airconditioning, so even in the higher temperatures it was still very comfortable. Street noise not a problem as it is a very quiet street at night. The apartment was very well appointed with all the comforts of home. Check in and check out process was easy, even with our 5 hour flight delay. Even the car we had Paulo arrange for us was waiting! Paulo was very sweet and inviting. She is a whirlwind of information, much of it she has documented and left in the apartment for you to look through at your leisure. Very helpful indeed! Paulo was very easy to get a hold of and responded to inquires quickly. Would recommend! Thanks Paulo! Hope to visit again soon! Teresa and Michael

Absolutely the best experience we could have hoped for!

This apartment is absolutely perfect! The apartment itself is really cute and had plenty of space for our party of 4. The homeowner is super sweet and gave us loads of information about the area. There were brochures and business cards, guidebooks and pamphlets - everything you need to get the lay of the land. There is a market right next door and plenty of restraunts, coffee shops and gelato right near by. The owner also made sure that this rental is equipped with everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Water, snacks, laundry soap, power converters - you name it, she has it! We spent 4 nights here and saw everything we could possibly see in Rome without ever having to take a cab or ride a bus. This is truly the best location in Rome and if we are lucky enough to return I will definitely be booking this apartment again!

Spacious apartment in a perfect location

Paola and Flaminia were both super nice and accommodating, responsive and flexible. We never had to use public transportation since the apartment location is so central. I’m glad we chose the apartment over an hotel - better value for the money.

Amazing Apartment and Incredible Location

My husband, our 19 month old son and I stayed at the apartment for five nights earlier in September. We had a fantastic time. Paolo was incredibly accommodating, making sure that there was a crib, high chair and toys for our son all before we arrived. She even had whole milk waiting for us in the fridge along with eggs, bread and butter. As a parent of a young child it was a lifesaver to know that we had a few basics to get us through the first few (very jet-lagged) hours in Rome. The location was unbelievable, you take a left out of the apartment, then take a left at the end of the road and you are right at the base of the Spanish Steps. The apartment was incredibly spacious and had everything that we needed (and more) to make our stay lovely and comfortable. We would definitely book the apartment again!
