El Dorado County | VHR 073004 | TOT #0496 | Max Occupancy is 8 - AT ALL TIMES | 4 Parking Spaces. Parking on the street is strictly prohibited. All vehicles must be parked in the driveway and/or garage at all times. County quiet hours are 10 PM - 8 AM. Strict enforcement of occupancy during quiet hours.
County Rules As part of the Vacation Home Rental Permit for this home, the county asks that we share the important rules and regulations with you. We appreciate your cooperation in following the guidelines listed below, also included in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement.
Maximum Occupancy: There shall be no gatherings, events, weddings or other group functions on the Premises with more people than the number of persons stated on the Agreement.
Parking: Parking on the street is prohibited at all times. All cars, boats, and trailers must be parked in the garage and/or driveway.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 10pm-8am, seven days a week. Per the County: No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. Amplified sound (such as speakers) shall not be used outside or be audible from the parcel line of any short-term rental at any time. Outdoor hot tubs cannot be used during quite hours.
Lights Out: All exterior lights must be turned off that are not needed for safety or other outdoor use to the extent that such other outdoor use is not an unreasonable nuisance to neighbors at night during the hours of 10pm and 7am, seven days a week.
Red Flag Warnings: Due to high risk of wildfire in our area, bonfires, charcoal barbecues, and wood-burning fire pits are always prohibited. On designated Red Flag Warning Days—when fire danger is especially severe due to dry conditions and high winds—all outdoor fires are prohibited, including gas grills and gas fire pits. These restrictions come directly from the North Tahoe Fire Protection District and must be followed for everyone's safety. It is each guest's responsibility to stay informed about Red Flag Warnings. They are announced on local news, radio, and social media, and you'll also see signs posted at fire stations throughout the area.
Winter Driving: Many highways, access roads, and driveways in the Tahoe area can become icy during the winter. For your safety, it's essential that between November 1st and April 30th your vehicle is winter-ready. Make sure brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater, and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires should be properly inflated with excellent tread, and you should always carry tire chains—even if you have an AWD/4WD vehicle. Double-check that your chains fit your tires and are in good working order. On many state highways and county roads, four-wheel drive and snow tires are required for safe travel. Please be prepared for winter conditions: dress appropriately, stay in bounds at ski resorts and if you get lost, remain in place.
Garbage & Bears: Please do not feed the bears. Black bears are very common in this area and, over time, many have become used to human food and trash. Because they no longer have a natural fear of people, you may see them during your spring, summer, or fall stay. Feeding bears is illegal, and leaving food outside, trash unsecured, or doors and windows unlocked can lead to serious property damage to both homes and vehicles. To help prevent this, all waste must be placed in bear-proof bins or dumpsters and the latches secured. Placer County sorts recycling from the waste for you at our materials recovery facilities.
Office Holiday Hours The TTVR office is closed on New Year's Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate check-ins and check-outs on these dates. Thank you for understanding.

We were in Tahoe with family and friends for the Triathlon and loved our stay. It had everything you needed and was clean. We even locked ourselves out and they were super responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
Cozy little cabin in the woods! Big bedrooms, comfortable beds, and they allow pets!:) Kitchen was small for our party size (6 adults 2 kids) but it was very well stocked and we had a wonderful stay.
We stayed for one week with our grandchildren and found the house to be very clean and well supplied. We used the BBQ nightly and enjoyed the deck. Check in was very easy and our questions were responded to very quickly. The on-site parking was great.
We loved our stay. House well equipped with all the basics (paper towels, TP, spices, cookware, towels, blankets). It felt cozy and inviting, our kids loved making snowmen the backyard. Thank you!!!
We very much enjoyed our stay at North of Bliss. The floor plan worked great for our family with plenty of room for our 6 adults and our two very well behaved Golden Retrievers.
We do not travel without our dogs and it was wonderful to have such a comfortable home in a great location to go to. We loved our stay and very much hope to return to the home very soon! Thank you for allowing us to stay.
The cabin was nice and cozy and was clean. The location is not to far from Meeks Bay (the lake) Location is in the woods not to close to many commercial areas which is good for us because we wanted so.e peace and quiet and not too much traffic. My favorite part of the cabin was the deck whick was spacious and was facing the woods. Overall enjoyed our stay.
We loved the place. It was a quiet place but perfect for a big family with a few friends. It had small kitchen items, surprise snacks & wine, games, lots of TV options apps.
The only thing I could complain are the 5 giant spiders we found.
The management company and the owners were awesome. We had to reschedule this trip from January to April due to a tree that fall on our house but they were very understanding which we appreciated very much.
I would highly recommend this place.
Convenient, well-laid out cabin with everything we needed
Our group of 8 adults, a baby, and a dog all stayed here for a race weekend. The layout of the house was perfect, with plenty of space and privacy for everyone, and a cozy living room to hang out in. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the games that were provided. Note that you’ll need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner though. The bear fence was intimidating at first but with the clear instructions provided, it soon became simple to turn on and off. Overall communication with the host was great, and we’d happily stay here again!
We rented this house four our annual vacation. The house was large enough for two families. It was well-stocked and maintained... and is close to Tahoma... so you can grab coffee in the morning... or pizza at night. Among the many positives... our Property Manager... Cindy... made sure we were able to find the place (thank you for the bottle of wine!)... and made herself available the entire time... if we needed anything... Thank You!
Nice place. I'll start with the few improvements neededDishwasher worked but didn't drain well and this has been noted by a former visitor on the uncollected feedback form. Checkin relatively late (4pm) and judging by the spider webs in the bathroom not sure it was cleaned that day necessitating this. Local restaurants are not staffed for events so be prepared to wait, eat an hour before you normally would, or drive to other places. Overall great property though and would stay againGreat water pressure and showers. Plenty of soap and bathroom supplies Well equipped kitchenNice porch for boots, boards, and coatsDecent sized bedroomsComfy sofas

So glad to hear that this guest enjoyed his stay! While there is not much we can do about his restaurant experience, we certainly could have helped with the Tahoe cobwebs that can appear overnight! We are available by phone, text and email to help our guests during their stay. We'd love to host this guest again!
Great place for large family or 2 family get togethers!!
This property has the wonderful older cabin charm with updated kitchen and bathrooms, and furniture. Plenty of space for large family, 4 bedrooms lots of beds. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and appliances. huge deck that has 2 tables with chairs for entertaining. 5 min drive to Meeks bay beach.
We enjoyed our stay! The management company was very responsive and check-in super easy. We appreciated the space for our two families, the well-equipped kitchen and the games in the living area. It was great being close to Meeks Bay and not too far from Tahoe City for a boat tour of the lake.
This was a great place for us, 4 family members (with 2 couples added on 2 different nights) plus nearby family for some dinners. The cabin was rustic and cute, just as portrayed. The 3 bedrooms were quite large, with the 4th being two bunks plus laundry stuff. Kitchen was small but adequate and well-stocked with utensils & pans. A bonus was a nice large deck! Arrival was easy, including the bear fence (which was simple to attach and no one was accidentally shocked). And there certainly were bears! We especially appreciated the helpfulness of the managers who were always responsive, friendly and efficient. Definitely would stay here again!
From Truckee or South Lake, but very quiet area. Its a perfect little ski cabin. Says sleeps 10, but probably be most comfortable with 7 or 8 max. I would stay here again in a heart beat. If the owner was to make any adds, I would say a round propane fireplace for the deck would have been awesome. We would have hung out on the deck more with one. Thx
We had a great time at this property. The house was well equipped with everything we needed from cooking to sleeping. There were some stray dogs in the neighborhood that wouldn’t leave us alone while we were walking around - one of them growled and lunged at us, and another wouldn’t leave us alone after their owner called it back from a distance. Not necessarily a reflection on the property manager or the house we rented, but it certainly put us in an uncomfortable position with our small children. This was the first neighborhood in Tahoe we’ve visited where this happened. Just be aware when walking about with small children and/or dogs. Property manager was very accommodating and gave us additional time to check out.
