Douglas Lake Lodge sleeps 16+ guests comfortably; there are 3 king beds, 2 queen beds, a loft with 8 single beds, and half a dozen couches available for sleeping, as well. There are 4 ½ bathrooms & an outdoor shower.

House Rules:
- Not suitable for infants (under 2 years) without adult supervision

- Do not swim in ponds
- Do not use the fireplaces inside
Pet-Related Rules:
- This property has a pool and is by the lake. Please keep an eye out for pets if they can't swim and keep them out of the pool if possible. Since we are in the wooded area, please ensure your furry ones are up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm meds.
- Please keep pets off the bed, pickup after them outside, and prevent them from 'marking' anything inside. If excessive hair or urine is found inside, we will contact you about any necessary fees.
- We require guests to disclose if they plan to bring a pet, as we have a $100 per pet fee. Limit of 3 dogs at this property.
- We do not adjust fees or rules for emotional support animals.
LAKE INFORMATION:
Once the lake levels reach 985-ft, it is difficult to utilize a boat in the water. Once the levels reach 980-ft, the dock is no longer accessible. This information can be found on the TVA website for Douglas Lake. This event can take place between September 1-30, but typically occurs at the end of September.

Guest Access:
Guests are free to use the pool, tennis court, dock, pool table, ping-pong table, books and games. The home is accessed using a door code, which is provided a few days before your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Douglas Lake Lodge is in a quiet, remote area of the Smoky Mountains. You will have lots of privacy. This home is near Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & Sevierville, TN.
Some local favorites and nearby attractions include Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, The Island in Pigeon Forge, The Titanic Museum Attraction, The Hollywood Wax Museum, The Old Mill Restaurant, The Gatlinburg Space Needle, Anakeesta, and Ober Gatlinburg.
Getting Around:
Taxi services, Uber, Lyft are available. Downtown Gatlinburg offers trolley service. There is ample public parking available for driving around the area. We suggest having a car to get around town.
In addition, our office is at the Welcome Center/General Store at Norton Creek. Feel free to stop by! We offer souvenirs and everyday items

Any trailers or RVs must be disclosed upon your reservation.
Please take note that bears are in the area. We do provide bear safety tips upon arrival.
Horseback riding is available 1 mile from the house and boat rentals are available one mile by water down near the dam. Grocery stores, restaurants and gas are available about 6 miles away on Highway 66.
