Arts and Crafts Style with Modern Amenities

Spacious, sunny, open, 2,300 square foot newly renovated Arts and Crafts style beach home with charming décor, hardwood floors, sky lights, central air conditioning, several rooms to relax and a well equipped Chef’s kitchen with Sub Zero and Thermador appliances to enjoy! Three French doors lead to the back deck in a quiet wooded area. Step from the deck to the outdoor shower, hammock, tether ball, fire pit and grilling areas.

Parents appreciate the large front yard with ample room for outdoor activities. In addition, this home is a five minute walk to a freshwater pond where one can fish and a five minute bike ride to the Mill Pond to swim in warm saltwater or to take a nice walk. Moreover, you are less than two miles from ocean side Nauset Beach and three miles from bay side Skaket Beach! You are encouraged to bring your boat as there are several public town landings minutes away, including the Mill Pond access, for you to motor/sail/paddle out to Nauset Inlet.

This home accommodates six persons: three bedrooms each with queen beds and a sitting area, and one upstairs office for remote working convenience. Port-a-cribs in bedroom sitting room areas are welcome. Sheets and towels are provided for convenience and comfort!

Summer weekly rentals are generally from Sunday to Sunday.

Cap Cod family retreat

Wonderful house that fit our family of 6 very easily. The deck off the kitchen overlooks a beautiful wooded area and is simply gorgeous. Great for meals and morning coffee. Centrally located to the beaches and everything else you need. We plan to stay here again!

What can I say, this house was beautiful! We enjoyed so much of it, from the hammock outside to the various sitting rooms inside. There is so much space! We enjoyed cooking in this marvelous kitchen or grilling outside. This house had everything we needed to enjoy our week on Cape Cod!

Our experience was outstanding! I highly recommend this home. Check in and check out were easy and Margaret was responsive to all communication! The house offered the comfort of a home away from home and no details were not thought of! The kitchen is well equipped and we truly cooked! The beds, sofas, etc. were very comfortable. The outdoor amenities were great including the table, seating area and fire pit! The outdoor shower was also awesome! I love that there were also beach chairs, an umbrella and beach towels available for our use. We will be back!

The Great Summer 2021 esCAPE!!!

This VRBO property is "as advertised" & met all our family's needs & expectations for our 1st trip to The Cape. Great newly renovated kitchen for all our family dinners with a oversized back patio to enjoy the evenings. BBQ grill, fire pit, outdoor shower, tiki torches surrounding the patio, & more. The home is super clean with everything we could possibly need. Margaret was great in communicating check-in, wi-fi instructions, etc. & everything was super easy. We highly recommend this place for your family get away on The Cape. -Brett & Kelly

Fabulous Home!

This is a beautiful home with lots of spaces for all to relax either together or for solitude. My favorite spots were the front porch and the hammock. The kitchen is well planned and has everything you need. Margaret was responsive when I texted with questions and super helpful. I plan to come back again!

Great Vacation Home

We had a fantastic time on vacation. Margaret responded quickly and politely to all of our questions. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable for our entire family and the location could not have been better! We will certainly be back.

Charming quintessential Cape get away

This spacious, family oriented escape was perfect for our 2 families of 4 to spend a week splashing, biking, hiking, and beachwalking. Great location between Skaket and Nauset beaches. Lovely layout with plenty of gathering space and 'read alone in a nook' space. Lovely outdoors sitting and large yard for kids. Great mix of old-time feel with modern comforts. Lots of window fans to help with the heat. Great family-time touches like board games and a piano to support enoying each other. Owners were wonderfully responsive and welcoming. Feel lucky to have stayed here!

This is a very large and beautiful house; it easily accommodated all 10 of us. Margaret is very friendly, responsive and helpful. The only downside is that the house has no air conditioning and can get pretty hot and stuffy.

Well appointed house for multi-generation vacation

This was our 4th visit & we continue to enjoy the amenities & layout of this home. The living room & large table on the back porch are great locations for everyone to gather. If you're looking for some quiet time, you can sit in the front parlour or TV room. The hammock is a great spot for a quick nap. The central Orleans location makes it easy to get everywhere we needed to go. The owner is a pleasure to interact with.

GREAT HOUSE!!!

We had an amazing time our week on the Cape and this house & its location was a main reason! The location to the beaches was ideal! The house had a beautiful deck where we ate every dinner and many berakfasts. The outside shower was great. One evening after playing on the beach we used it to wash off our feet. I noticed a light with a switch right where we needed it - they have thought on so many little details that make a big difference! We will definitely rent this property again!

Very comfortable beach house!

This is a spacious house in a great location, near Mill Pond boat access and Nauset Beach. Ground floor has several separate seating areas, making it especially nice for a large extended family. Nice outdoor shower, BBQ, and large deck with lots of seating.

Cape Cod Charmer

We loved this house - full of charm, great accommodations. It fit our large family very nicely. Property was clean and spacious and Kristin was wonderful to work with. The house is conveniently located - just a quick drive to the beach or to East Orleans shops and a quick bike ride away from the Cape Cod Rail Trail. The front yard makes an excellent bocce court and was the scene of a fiercely fought battle on our one overcast day!

Not Just a House, but a Home

Our family has found a true home away from home. This lovely house holds many memories for our entire family. Having spent 20+ years vacationing with our children on the Cape, this by far has been our favorite location. The house is close to all things we love from going to Nauset Beach to play in the surf to watching the sunset over the Bay. This home allows us to enjoy all the Cape has to offer while still providing a comfortable place to unwind and share the events of the day. The deck offers a large dining set that includes a grill in a private backyard allowing us to enjoy the local seafood which can be purchased in town. The large front yard provides ample space for a quick game of frisbee or a competitive game wiffle ball. The living areas and bedrooms provide the perfect balance of form and function...allowing all of us to spend time together or find a quiet spot to retreat. We have stayed in this charming house for the past four summers and have made too many memories to count. We look forward to next the next trip from the minute we pull out of the driveway. The countdown to Summer 2016 has begun!!
