Escape to paradise when you book this 1/2 Elevated Duplex unit just steps to the beach! Renovated in 2019 with one queen BR and and one BR with (2) twin beds and two full baths. Please feel free to ask about early check-in - on days when I don't have guests leaving the same day, the unit is typically ready for you.

Vaulted ceilings, a brand new kitchen, all new luxury vinyl plank flooring and very comfortable furniture make this unit perfect for a small family or two couples seeking a relaxing getaway.

THE LOCATION:

Just behind Gulf Blvd at Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island, this unit is walking distance (within a mile) to many restaurants, Circle K, Walgreens, Publix, a childrens park, and of course the beach and the bay.

The location between Cortez Rd. and Manatee Ave. means you always have two routes to get on/off the island which can be very convenient!

There is also the free trolley to take you all over the island or even down to the amazing St. Armands Circle in Sarasota (you will switch over to bus service at the south end of the island to get down Longboat Key). The Monkey Bus will pick you up and drop you off right at your door which is very convenient if you want to have a few drinks and not worry about driving (basically our local taxi service).

THE PROPERTY:

Look forward to relaxing with all of the amenities you need in a home-away-from-home. Fully equipped kitchen including basic condiments, plenty of linens, beach supplies including chairs, towels, an umbrella, and a beach cart and coolers.

Shampoo/conditioner/liquid soap included.

Bicycles can be rented just down the street or even delivered to you. You can also rent a golf cart and stand up paddle boards or kayaks that they will deliver.

After a long day of fun in the sun, return home to wash off the beach sand with a refreshing outdoor shower before heading to one of the many wonderful restaurants or to our famous Bridge St. for a game of putt putt golf and some shopping.

A great location! Quick walk to the beach- just loaded up the wagon with everything we needed. Unfortunately the temps were cooler so we didn’t have a lot of beach time but we still had a fabulous time! The host was very quick to answer questions and also very accommodating.

What a great place to stay! From the start, Jen was highly communicative. The home had all the amenities we needed and more— a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, beach gear, washer and dryer for some midweek freshening. We especially enjoyed the outdoor living space under the house which was much cuter than the photos. It couldn’t be better situated to the beach, a super short walk (not even a block) but off the busy main road. Perfect! Found all sorts of great places to eat, within walking distance or short drive away. Also thought it was ideally situated midway on the island for activities both north and south. Our first visit to AMI and we plan to return!

Lovely area, publics supermarket is just down the road to fill up for your stay.Kitchen was well appointed, needed nothing. Beach towels etc, no shortage.Host was on hand if you needed anything.Loads of parking in the area and some lovely local restaurants.Amazing sunsets, couldn’t ask for more

A perfect home for myself and 3 adult daughters to relax at the beach, explore the island, and enjoy the fabulous restaurants! Jennifer was a wonderful host and her home was stocked with all the extras to make our stay even better. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!Beds were comfortable for our family of 3! Kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor shower was a nice touch and the downstairs utility room had all the beach supplies we could ask for…towels, boogey boards, tent/umbrella, wagon, sandcastle supplies, beach chairs…you name it! Jennifer & her pup Spencer were the best hosts! We had a wonderful time cruising the island in a golf cart. Would LOVE to come back again soon!

I am originally from Ohio and some of my best and earliest memories are of visiting my grandparents in Florida. I have always loved the ocean and the feel of life near the beach, particularly the Gulf Coast.

It took me some time and a few detours to make my way here to the Bradenton area and Anna Maria island, but my dream of living at the beach did happen and I truly feel I have picked one of the most beautiful places to live.

My experience renting to people wanting to visit our beautiful island has been fantastic and so much fun. I enjoy every guest and I look forward to every visit! I am so very thankful for everyone who comes and stays and experiences good family time and relaxation time here - it really makes me happy.

I hope you have a wonderful stay and enjoy this beautiful spot as much as I do!

Why they chose this property

This property is in such a great location, very central on the island and even during the busiest times of year, traffic woes are minimized by being right between Manatee Ave and Cortez Blvd.
The convenience of the little shopping plaza right down the street for groceries, beach gear or breakfast or pizza and our little ‘famous’ Bridge St the other direction with great restaurants, shops and bars is fantastic.
Being one street back from the ‘main drag’ means it’s much more quiet and peaceful.
The walk over to the beach is easy and short and having Circle K for necessities right here is great.
It’s also wonderful to be on the skinny part of the island because you’re a short walk to the bay as well as the beach, which is nice for taking walks, riding bikes, or taking the kids to the little park we have by the bay.

The sunrises on the bay are just as breathtaking as the sunsets at the beach. It’s a magical place.

What makes this property unique

The beach across the street is wonderful - it’s not crowded, you can walk miles in either direction; the house is easily accessible from two main roadways, very central on the island, not so many traffic headaches (Manatee Ave or Cortez Rd for on/off the island); Circle K, Walgreens and the Publix grocery store are all walkable or less than a mile drive; it’s central to all of Anna Maria island and an easy drive down beautiful Longboat Key. (Plus my place is cozy, clean, comfortable and great for getting away from our hurried world to unwind!)
