Welcome to 19 Saulsbury St, a charming and well-maintained beach home just steps from the sandy shores of Dewey Beach, known for its family-friendly daytime atmosphere, vibrant nightlife, and wide, clean beaches perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and watersports. Guests will also appreciate the home's short walk to Dewey's lively downtown area, filled with restaurants, bayside activities, and live entertainment.
This six-bedroom, two-level home comfortably sleeps 14 and offers an open floor plan ideal for gatherings and relaxation.
The ground floor features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious sunroom filled with natural light, and a recently renovated kitchen with modern appliances that flows into the dining area. The cozy living room is perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach.
Upstairs, two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom provide extra privacy for guests or family.
For added convenience, the property is located near the stops for the Jolly Trolley, a beloved local shuttle service offering easy, car-free transportation between Dewey Beach and the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. Guests can enjoy a quick, stress-free ride to Rehoboth's charming shops, restaurants, arcades, and iconic boardwalk attractions without worrying about parking.
Private parking for two cars is included, along with amenities such as an extra refrigerator, washer and dryer, ceiling fans, Wi-Fi, central air conditioning, dishwasher, and a gas grill. After a day in the sun, rinse off in the outdoor shower. One first-floor bedroom with two twin beds is located on an enclosed, air-conditioned porch, offering a cool and comfortable retreat.
Rentals run Saturday to Saturday during the prime summer season. Linens are not supplied but rental packages are available for convenience. Please note that pets and smoking are not allowed.

A wonderful stay!

This house has probably the best location in Dewey, tons of space, and a super easy check in and out process. A group of friends had an incredibly fun holiday weekend here. Would 100% stay again, we were sad to leave!

This home was exactly what our family needed. Plenty of space for everyone. It was relaxing and served our needs. Everything was in working order. I was pleased they cut back the tree in the driveway so we could get in and out of our cars and they did not receive any scratches. The bonus was the close proximity to the beach. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great location for beach and nightlife

Rented this house with a group of friends for a golf / beach / bars weekend. Perfect location in Dewey with very short walk to beach as well as Dewey Beer Company and The Starboard. Played golf at beautiful Baywood Greens not far away (15-20 mins). Perfect house for a friend group getaway.

Great Home, accommodates many, location is second to none

This house is exactly as advertised. Prime location in the heart of Dewey. We had a large group (10+) in town for Labor Day Weekend and we all had plenty of space. We will definitely be renting again.

Great Location

This location is perfect! You don’t have to drive anywhere. The jolly trolly is accessible right down the street to take you into rehoboth. House was a good size and other than a minor A/C issue it was a good stay! They got an A/C tech out in a good timeframe.

Love this house

This is our fourth time renting this house and we are never disappointed. The proximity to the beach and local restaurants are just steps from the door. The kitchen is well stocked to cook meals and the common area is spacious for all to sit comfortably. Each time we have been here we had at least 10 family members staying. And we never felt that we were on top of each other. When in Dewey, I will always try and rent this property!

Tremendous house a block from the beach!!

We are a group of 10-15 women who have been spending a weekend together at the beach for the past13 years. This is our first year at this location and if it's available, we will definitely go back! It had space for all of us, a large kitchen and living space, an enclosed front porch, 2 refrigerators, and 3 full bathrooms. It is so close to the beach that we could easily walk back and forth as needed. Highly recommend for families or groups of friends.

Nice House, Busy Neighborhood, Great Beach

We rented this property sight unseen because it held a large family, was close to the beach, had living and sleeping areas on one floor to meet the needs of a disabled family member, and appeared to be a nice place for children. The property layout was very nice and large and was well equipped. Unfortunately we had no idea how busy that area of town was. Traffic was very busy, the sidewalks in town were narrow and crowded and dangerous to walk on. The older children had little freedom outdoors. The house it great for teens and adults.

Great location!

We loved this house! It was such a short walk to the beach and had plenty of bedrooms for our family. The twin beds in the downstairs bedroom were pretty uncomfortable and the headboards were not actually attached to the beds. The air conditioners upstairs were a bit noisy. The driveway was very narrow and when folks would park on the street in front of the house, it didn’t leave much room to get in and out. The couch in the living area had no support on the one side. Other than those few very minor things, we thought the house and area were great and would definitely return.

perfect for a big family

The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and very nice. The living areas were comfortable and family friendly. ReMax did a great job as a property manager. The smoke detectors started chirping during the first night and the tv in the living room didn't work. Competent and very nice maintenance people came promptly and fixed both issues. Having two refrigerators was a great convenience. Our only suggestion would be to repair the railing at the front door so that it is usable, especially with seniors staying there.

We loved how open the 1st floor was. The kids had so much room and we didn't feel on top of each other. So close to beach.... only thing that would make the house better was the walkway to outdoor shower was paved and an outdoor seating area but either way we will be back next year.
