Mountain Views, Near Heavenly & Lake, Sleeps 8

Enjoy views of the lake, surrounding forest, mountains, and Heavenly's ski runs from the condo. Inside, relax after a day on the slopes or adventuring around the lake with the comfortable living room furnishings, large-screen TV, and fireplace. Cook a meal in the well-appointed kitchen and take in the views from the dining table that seats up to 6.

Each bedroom has plush bedding and is tastefully decorated. The master bedroom also has a small gas wood stove and TV.

This condo is on the ski shuttle route to Heavenly's Stagecoach Lodge, so you won't have to worry about parking. It is also within proximity to Heavenly's Boulder Lodge. Enjoy hiking and mountain biking right outside the door and access to the community pool during the summer months. Communal hot tub access is available year-round. Also located in this Upper Kingsbury area is a convenience store and an excellent BBQ spot/bar called the Fox and Hound. The condo is approximately 10 minutes from the casinos, shopping, beaches, lake access, restaurants, supermarkets, and everything else the exciting South Shore offers!

Hit the jackpot with the snow conditions, skiing out was easy enough through the trees below the property with the conditions. Great place.

This was a great unit, near the Heavenly ski lifts. We had so much snow it was ski in/ski out. The house was very well appointed and clean, with a modern kitchen.

First time to a Heavenly and very much enjoyed our experience at this cozy, perfectly-located condo. Snowshoeing and skiing right out the door. Cozy fireplaces and spaces. Well equipped kitchen. Would return again.

Great lodge and Amazing Views

We loved our stay. The place is so nice. So clean and updated. The views of the lake and mountains are stunning. The wood throughout is beautiful. We also loved the master room. We were greeted with a nice note and gifts from the renter. We will come back to Lake Tahoe and will stay here at this location again!

Perfect home away from home

Loved this rental! It was perfectly stocked from the kitchen to the bathroom (even had shampoo and a flat iron!), to throw blankets in the living room. The views were spectacular! Those sunsets! Also good location for South Lake Tahoe. It was spacious and clean. Loved the wood and stone combination… felt so local and natural. I would definitely book it again!

Caloca, Maakar, Nuñez vacation

The property was as advertised; the lake view from deck is spectacular! Bring binoculars! Inside, we had everything needed for indoor cooking and the grill, for hamburgers, was a plus. Bedroom accommodations all satisfactory. Overall a relaxing property. A nearby trail to a ski lift and run was a treat as I hiked with niece and nephew. Would definately return.

Great condo, 5 stars, but beware large off-leash in complex

Everything was great, Truly 5 stars, except neighbors refuse to leash dogs. If you have small children or anyone afraid of dogs, please consider they may run, bark aggressively and jump on you. No one was bitten, just traumatized.

Beautiful View

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from the kitchen/living space was amazing. It was a short walk up & down hill to the slopes, but it is NOT ski in/out. This place is described as it could house 8 people. We had 6 and it was fairly tight. The WIFI was terrible and there was a lack of storage in the entire condo. The floors we filthy the day we got there. While we enjoyed the views, the description is misleading, and I would NOT recommend it to friends.

Great getaway

Great location as long as you have 4wd. We had 2wd rental were snowed in for most of our trip(2/20-2/25) due to 38" of snow over a few days. Bring chains. Close to stagecoach lift, can walk 5 min and drop into lift. There are busses that pick up rain parking lot to take you to stagecoach or over to boulder or down to gondola on CA side had a minor issue with the lock, it was wearing out and sometimes difficult to get locked when leaving. Did have issue with one of tub drains freezing up for a night. Views of lake tahoe off th back deck. Overall great experince.

Amazing view!

The view from our patio was breathtaking! We were a little thrown off by the location, we thought we were right in town on the south shore and up where the newer Heavenly is but we were 15 mins away from the Main Street on the south shore. Added a little bit of time to every outing as we are used to staying closer in town. The place looks exactly like the photos, beautiful! Not pictured is the master bedroom which is down a flight of stairs. Upon arrival I did sweep the entire place as it really needed it. We also had incredible views from the living room area and master bedroom but the windows were pretty dirty so hard to see through. A wonderful spot, a little further from where we thought we would be but still lovely!

High School Friends Get-A-Way

We are a group of 1976 Texas high school friends that make at least 1 trip a year with one another to decompress with sight seeing, dining, laughing, etc. Tahoe was our choice for this trip and it did not disappoint. The accommodations were perfect for us, even with the spiral staircase to primary BR! While the condo was smaller than what it appeared to be in the online pictures, it was fine for the 6 of us. Provisions - kitchen, bathroom, bedding - were all there and much appreciated. We did not make use of the pool/hot tub as location was not in proximity to condo. View of lake was gorgeous, especially in AM/PM. Suggestions to add would be menus for local eateries that deliver (we Door Dashed from Fox & Hound), taxi contacts (we used Joy Ride) and/or ride share costs to Heavenly and adding back the patio deck off primary bedroom. Overall, our trip was great and we have no serious negatives about location or accommodations and left with great memories of our trip at the top of the mountain!

Comfy beds and amazing view of the lake

You can't beat the lake views and comfort of this property. It was a perfect size for our family of six adults. The furnishings seem brand new and we enjoyed the fireplace in the family room and master bedroom. My only criticism is the entry lock and the ski locker. The entry lock is unreliable at times. We had the same lock on our own home at one time and experienced the same problem. Having the physical key as a backup to the keypad is a good idea for when the battery fails, but the problem as we experienced it was with the mechanical aspect of the lock. The problem occurred multiple times during our trip with both locking and unlocking. Fortunately, it resolves after numerous attempts, but it requires a fair amount of retries. We also had to store our skis in the car, as the lock on the ski locker was also not functioning. These concerns can be easily addressed by the owner and I would not let this deter you from renting if these issues are addressed. It is a beautiful home with everything you need (and little extras like high quality hair products and handsoaps) to enjoy your stay. The community hottub is just a short drive down the street and was the perfect end to our day.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had everything we needed for a week long ski trip. Unfortunately the off location (approximately half mile away) hot tub was under renovation so all the amenities weren’t available. The heat is generated by a gas fireplace in the main living area with a blower and the downstairs main bedroom had a gas freestanding fireplace with inoperative blower so we had to use a plastic fan and the ceiling fan to get heat to move around, which still left a few areas cold. Upstairs bathtub was completely clogged and we couldn’t use it for the week due to a large snowstorm that prevented maintenance.The house has a Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker. Appliances are all fairly new and in good condition. Great location, almost walkable to Stagecoach chairlift, bus stop right by the dumpsters in the parking lot for a quick ride to the bottom of the hill to the lift. Getting back via bus can take a long time due to having to swap busses mid-trip and more difficult to walk back due to steep grade of the road going back to the home.Internet via cell and/or WiFi was not very good...works, but slow.

Beautiful inside, could use some improvements

Inside of the cabin is beautiful! We had a party of 5 and would have love more comfortable seating for watching movies at night. We had to call several times after we made the res to get info with address and how to get in. Once we got the email, info was clear. But, we arrived at night and it was nearly impossible to see the building number. It would be a really nice touch to include info in the cabin about closest lifts, shuttles, grocery stores etc. We didn’t realize until the last day that you can ski down to a slope. Also- hot tub is a drive down the road, and was closed.
