The house was clean and perfect for what we needed. It was close to restaurants, shopping, the beach and the ferries. We would stay again if we return to Falmouth.
Nice little house very close to Great Pond. Clean and comfortable, good communication with host, nice furnishings and well-stocked kitchen. Short walk to the beach!
House was cute but small. Neighborhood was quiet. View of water was limited from the house but able to walk a short distance to a small beach. Overall it was nice for a long weekend.
My wife and I enjoyed our 5 night stay at the cottage. It's a great property and the location is convenient to the beach and the main drag in Falmouth, which is terrific. We would absolutely stay here again.
This cottage was very clean and in a great location for my daughter and I to explore Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. For this property please note that you need to bring your own sheets and towels. Paula was very helpful.
This property is in an ideal Falmouth location - walking/biking distance to beaches, downtown shopping, and all kinds of restaurants/bars. The home comfortably slept 3 of us, and had some lawn space to relax and grill. Paula made the whole process very easy . . I would highly recommend staying here.
This cute, clean and homey house was great for my daughter and I. We had the best time looking out at the bay from the windows. Riding our bicycles along the trail to the ocean was amazing. The house was super clean and neat. Eat in kitchen was great and well equipped to make a meal. Beds were so comfortable too. We loved staying here. Can’t wait too return.☺️
We love the local ambiance of the neighborhood and water views of salt water Great Pond. We walked everywhere. The beaches are so close and pretty and have basic amenities. Falmouth is where our heart is and Paula made it easy and was there if we wanted anything. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Second time staying here. The property is older and could use some updating, but beds are comfy and the shower is on the newer side and works well. The location is the draw. Close to beaches and short walk/drive to the 2 oceanfront restaurants in the immediate area. Paula is quick to respond to questions or concerns. We had a great stay and even added an additional night when we weeent ready to leave yet!
Immaculate home, fully equipped, fabulous location. Quiet neighborhood close to beautiful beach. Owner was in constant contact making sure we were okay. Paula, thank you for being so patient with us!
My husband, daughter and I enjoyed our 5-night stay here. The weather was ideal - warm enough for the beach during the day and cool enough at night to leave the windows open and take advantage of breezes from the water. The cottage is rather small for 3 adults but we made it work. Having the extra half bath made a big difference. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had what we needed for simple meals, and grill worked well. I would definitely return!
The property is conveniently located for any activity. It is quite small but manageable. Our biggest gaff was that the property was advertised as two BR and two baths. Not so.
1 - 1/2 baths. We would have passed this by had we known that. The second shower was outside with zero privacy screening. We also did not appreciate that the trash and recycle were each at least half full on our arrival.
My husband and I stayed here in June for a long weekend. This cottage is so cute. The quintessential Cape Cod cottage. It’s small, but really was perfect in every way. Its well decorated, very clean, and has views of Great pond. It’s a short walk to a little beach on Great Pond - easy kayak launch. The owner stopped by and gave us a little history of the cottage, she was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. Bring your own linens, and paper products.
This small seasonal cottage is as described in the listing. The location is excellent -- downtown Falmouth and plenty of shopping within a few miles, but the cottage itself is on a quiet dead-end road only a few blocks from the sea. The place was big enough for the two of us; it would be pretty cramped for 4 however. We had a few chilly nights in late September; the small single heater struggled to keep up, and unfortunately we were instructed not to use the fireplace. Kitchen gear was adequate, but there were no condiments/salt&pepper, etc. All-in-all, a good stay for a week in a lovely setting
Smaller property, but big enough for the 3 of us. Walking distance to little local beach on inlet and a quick bike ride to larger beaches. Convenient location, but tucked away on super quiet street. Very clean.
Cute little cottage right by the bay. Older but charming.
Would rent again. These little gems might not be around in 5-10 years. People are buying them up to rebuild large homes. I’ll continue to rent and enjoy them while they exist. This was cute and great location. Paula was great to work with. Neighbors are nice.
This was a very comfortable house walking distance to a private beach.not crowded.we loved the convenience of everything being close by.nice neighbors and a safe street.the house was spacious enough for 4 people and having 2 bathrooms was perfect for us.we had a very enjoyable time and would love to return next year.
A nice cottage, best suited for 2, though there are 2 bedrooms(2nd is small)
Easy walk to the beach.
Needed more than 1 towel /pp, outdoor shower has no privacy-needs fencing
Had a very relaxing week
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. We were centrally located for biking, walking, beach and family activities in the center of Falmouth. Cottage had all the necessities needed to cook and it was clean and neat. We had a wonderful long week and would love to return.
Exactly as described but even better. Great location, close to anything you’d need but out of the way in a quiet neighborhood. A perfect getaway for me, my daughter and my mom. Paula was so helpful and went out of her way to give detailed info about things to do, where to eat, etc. Hope to return.
The property was a very nice cottage a short walk to the beach. There’s a big front yard and a small side yard with a nice propane grill. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of soft pillows and blankets. Only downside was that there wasn’t any hand soap in the second bathroom, no toiletries and hardly enough TP for the first night. This wasn’t a big deal to us as we had brought these things. Paula was very nice and was communicative. She actually rents three houses in a row on the block.
