CaseMaggi Florence Rustic City Center Apartment
Welcome to CaseMaggi, Italy vacation rentals. We have homes in Florence and Portovenere. This apartment, in Florence city center, is near Piazza Sant'Ambrogio and Florence Synagogue. A 10 min walk to the Duomo, to Santa Croce and many top museums.
The apartment has been recently remodeled so is in excellent condition. An original stone wall, from the 1400's in the living room, has been uncovered and reconditioned and there are frescoes on the master bedroom ceiling! The furniture is antique and each piece was selected individually to ensure its fit.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with all the equipment you need to make your Italian meals.
The Sant'Ambrogio neighborhood is one of the most livable in the city, close enough to all the tourist spots but not a touristy neighborhood. Many streets in the are are closed to traffic and there are many coffee bars and local restaurants just steps away for the apartment.
One of the most representative monuments of the district is the beautiful synagogue located in Via Farini, built in 1882 by Florence’s Jewish community. Also interesting is the simple Sant’Ambrogio Church, located in the most lively piazza, with the same name, in the heart of the district
