Beautifully decorated and updated gulf front 2 bedroom /2 bath unit. Phoenix VI is set up with a real resort atmosphere that lets you know you are on vacation! Enjoy breath taking views of the Gulf of Mexico and Beach. This 6th floor unit offers the perfect floor height. This unit is the perfect vacation unit. The unit is set up to comfortably sleep up to 9 people. The master bedroom directly faces the gulf with direct access to your balcony. The bedroom has a king sized bed. The master bathroom offers double vanities. The very spacious guest bedroom has a double bed and a second double bed with a twin bunk on top. There is additional sleeping space with a sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen has been completely renovated with new cabinets, granite counter tops, tiled backsplash and stainless steel appliances. The unit is tiled throughout. There are flat screen high definition televisions throughout.
The complex offers a great location in the heart of Orange Beach that is walking distance to a number of restaurants. The complex offers one of the best amenities on the beach. The complex has a huge outdoor pool with a bridge walkover and spacious deck. There is also a kiddie pool, and bbq area with umbrellas and tables. Many enjoy other outdoor activities including tennis or basketball. For that cold or rainy day, there is a large heated indoor pool, 3 hot tubs and racquetball court. Unit is convenient to check in with a front desk and outstanding lobby area that offers tons of seating, coffee, tv and more. The owner allows the use of their personal beach chairs, located in the closet on the balcony for each of their guests!

Wonderful location! Perfect stay

The condo is located in a wonderful location. The beach was not overly crowded. It was the perfect place for our spring break trip! The owner was very responsive to messages. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Family vacation

Overall, we were really satisfied with the place. Great location to the beach! The place was very roomy and spacious for our group. The only problem we experienced was the shower- from the very first day there the drain wouldn’t drain the water while showering, in either bathroom. That was an inconvenience but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Right on the beach! This property was updated, clean and quiet. Easy parking, security at the entrance made us feel very safe. Check in was easy. Unit had everything you needed for a relaxing vacation. Would 100% recommend!!

Great location

Great location and set up. Had everything we needed however the floor/ rugs were dirty causing black bottom of feet when walking barefoot(Instantly noticed upon arrival). A couple of the mattresses have seen better days but manageable or we’re just not that picky. All and all had a great stay/time!! There is a storage room with beach supplies…also kind of dirty but if you don’t have something it’s convenient!

Definitely recommend !

We’ve never been to Orange Beach before and staying here was the best thing we could’ve done! After a very long drive we were able to check in early which was awesome, and the place was very clean with beautiful views. Will definitely be staying here again!

Overall, my unit was clean, comfy and had a gorgeous view. Throw rugs were old and mismatched, so a refresh there would be nice. Bathroom faucets very hard to turn, but once I got the hang of it, it was ok. Replacing them would prob result in less texts about them to the owner. Ha. Couldn’t get tv remote on live news, etc., but who wants news on their vaca anyway, right?!

Good family condo

Positives were proximity to elevator, three beds in kids room, patio access from master, racquetball and pickleball. Pool was clean and beach walkway and sand washing stations were great. Made it easy to cart wagon on and off.

Quick getaway

Great place. We go down about 4 times a year and we have been looking for a condo like this. Very easy check in, clean condo, nice and cool (some of them get a little warm on the beach, this was perfect) Exceptional ocean view high enough up to get you away from the hustle and bustle and just relax. Owner was GREAT and even helped us out with a parking pass issue due to a new system. We will DEFINITELY try to snatch this up next time down.

Spring Break 2023

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was nice that both rooms had a full bath. The only negative I can think of was the inside pool was closed for maintenance, we were able to walk next door and use that buildings pool though. It was slightly an inconvenience, but at least they offered us a solution. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful

We had an amazing stay. The place felt like home. Beautifully decorated, with breathtaking views, bed’s very comfy, the elevators ran smoothly, plenty of carts for luggage. The pool was broke and owners let us know and offered refund, we still wanted to go so they gave us a credit which they didn’t have to do. We will definitely go again.

Little Misleading

When the add said beach chairs included, we assumed it was the chairs on the beach. Ad was misleading. We had to buy ice at almost 7 a bag because the ice maker did not work. One of the hairdryers was melted. Nothing major but another report to the host so we wouldn’t be blamed.

We had to deal with gnat’s/fruit flies the entire time we were there. We purchased vinegar and tried pouring down the drain but it did not help. We did this a few times during our stay and when we checked out the problem was improving. The toilet in the master bathroom ran the entire time we were there not sure why? Check in was Easy and hassle free! Also, the location is perfect, easy access to everything!

Ideal and comfortable setting in perfectly convenient location

The 2 bed & 2 bath unit was ideal for our girls’ trip, and could have comfortably accommodated more. We had a movie night in living room, then dozed off in comfortable beds. Entertainment venues, like FloraBama, and lots of shopping options within a few minute drive. Plenty to do within walking distance too! Between utilizing the fitness room (commercial quality equipment per this fitness professional), pools, hot tubs and racquetball court, we never ran out of fun activities for our family. No maintenance issues to report, but front desk staff was quick to help with all other questions. 100% see this unit in our travel rotation! Thanks!

All in all it was good

Wasn't the cleanest but it wasn't horrible. There was no toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap or trash bags. We had to buy all that the first day since we were staying for a full week. There was a leak or something above the refrigerator so the paint was peeling. But all in all it was a nice getaway.

Nice stay

It was a nice stay with lots of room for our girls trip, how ever there could be some upgrades made ! The dryer took forever to dry clothes as we had to keep restarting it , the refrigerator didn’t keep food very cold ! And I’m sure this is not a one unit problem but overall building , but there was a huge roach in the living room ! Shower heads could use some upgrade and the people cleaning the units are not doing their job , as we were pulling out the sofa bed the couch moved and there was tons of dirt and trash left from previous tenants ! But we had a great time and made the best of it, they were really small minor things ! I would stay here again cause the location was great!

Wow!!

We had a great stay! This condo was just what we needed! We were on the 6th floor, very convenient to the elevators and parking lot. Our unit and the whole property was clean with a very friendly staff. The beautiful beach was just 7 floors down and a few steps away. Out front you also had a beautiful view of the bay across the street. The owner was so very easy to deal with and when we lost access to our balcony midweek due to out of his control maintenance, he hand delivered a partial refund. Across the street, walking distance, is a highly recommended place to eat with overlooking the bay (Zeke’s). We had only been to Orange Beach once before, and due to really cold temps (February 2011) while there it left me not wanting to return, but Orange Beach definitely redeemed itself this time and I will be back and I will stay at Phenix VI (hopefully the same unit (606)!

Ok but poor customer service

Check in was easy. The condo was still semi dirty such as dirty socks left on bedroom floor, food on kitchen backsplash, mildewed shower liners, dingy rugs. The front room shower drains extremely slow so it will fill up during a shower. The toilet in this bathroom also clogged during stay. Was told to use plunger and pour water into the toilet to attempt to unclog or I would be charge 100 because the toilet was working after last tenant checked out. I was unable to get toilet unclogged. The kitchen has some dishes. There are some glass cups but the plastic cups there are melted and deformed. The oven mitts were coated in food. Ice maker is slow so plan on purchasing ice if you need to use a cooler at all. Containers with lids like Tupperware would be helpful. Master bedroom bed was comfortable. Hallway bedroom the full size bed is smaller than the headboard so it’s not connected. Anytime you move it hits the hall. The bunk bed is squeaky as most that way are. The washer works ok. Dryer is very slow. Plan to run it more than once to get things dry. Lots of chairs, floats, nets, etc are in the closet out in the porch to use. I did not intend to leave a review about all the little things until the rude responses regarding the clogged toilet.

The accuracy of this listing as far as location, and resort amenities, is accurate. The listing fails to note that you must pay $35 to park however. During our stay the building was getting a new roof, construction was made known to owners in March. The noise and compromised parking areas, were a bit of a nuisance. Another guest mentioned 'cleanliness', that too was an issue for our stay. The rugs were quite stained, drapes had multiple strains as well. Old food crumbs and crackers under the coach revealed that the floors haven't been cleaned very well between guests. We received 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towel, 1 trash bag and an 4 oz. bottle of dish soap. Maintenance issues suggested a strong need for TLC. The master bathroom has a toilet that runs on & off 24 hours a day, Exhaust fan runs intermittently as well. The living room table has a huge cracked glass cover. The kitchen also needs attention, the toaster only works on one half, dishes/silverware have not been thoroughly cleaned between guests, and their are no instructions as to where to deposit your trash or simple guides for the televisions and other appliances. We have been to Orange Beach 5-6 times, love it there, however this condo was not one we would choose in the future.

We have two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Gabrielle. Since that time we have owned a number of condominiums in the area over the years. We currently reside locally in Craft Farms Golf community in Gulf Shores.

Why they chose this property

We love the location of Phoenix VI. It is just west of Perdido Pass, directly on the beach. It is beautiful sitting on the balcony and watching the boats go in and out of the Pass. The complex is walking distance to several restaurants. The complex also offers great amenities which include indoor/outdoor pools, hot tubs, bbq grill areas with tables and umbrellas, tennis and basketball courts, racquet ball, sauna, fitness room, large owners meeting rooms, vending machines and a huge lobby/gathering area complete with a front desk for easy check in. Come and enjoy the wide beach and surf.

What makes this property unique
