ONCE AGAIN BEING OFFERED FOR SHORT TERM RENTAL! This second-story condo resides in the historical Armory in the heart of Grand Haven and offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern convenience. It is within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, boardwalk, and beach.
It includes a master bedroom suite with a king size bed, TV, and master bathroom with double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a daybed with a twin trundle below. Both bedrooms have huge walk-in closets. The second full bathroom includes a stackable washer/dryer and is directly across the hall from the second bedroom. The open concept kitchen, dining, and great room provide ample space for gathering and there are peekaboo views of the channel from every room. This condo is very clean, well-appointed, and organized with many newer furnishings such as beds, bedding, TV’s and more. Although businesses are downstairs, the unit is extremely quiet. Parking is available for one standard-size vehicle or bikes and strollers in the secure garage within the building. There is also convenient free street parking or a parking permit for the city lot directly adjacent to the building.

Grand haven armory

we really enjoyed staying in this apartment above the armory, everything was perfect, super clean, spacious bedrooms, had everything we could possibly need. My only complaint is you really can't walk to the beach if you have kids and a lot of stuff but we were able to park at the beach, no problem! So close to food and shopping though, which was nice!

Sunsets, Sand and Relaxation

The condo was very clean, well-stocked with everything you would need, perfect location to downtown life, and a short walk to the beach. It was just what we needed to relax and recharge. My family loved everything about our stay including days at the beach, dinner in town, and walks to the pier to enjoy the sunsets. April was a great host. She was only a text away if I had a question. She was great at checking in to make sure our family was happy and enjoying our stay. My family will be back next summer. :) .

Beer, BBQ & Coffee!

Great place with a great location. Quick walk to the heart of town & the boardwalk. Nice & comfy with cool architectural features. The brew pub, BBQ & coffee joint down stairs were perfect for grabbing a beer or dinner after the beach or coffee in the am. Owners are accommodating & we would definitely stay again [maybe without the kids so we could enjoy live music & a few more drinks at Grand Armory Brewing!]

Mother’s Day Weekend Stay

My family stayed here for Mother’s Day weekend. We usually stay at a hotel, but decided we would give this a try. Everything was very clean & welcoming. It’s located within walking distance to everything. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. There is music from about 8pm until midnight from the brewery. It wasn’t bothersome to us, but it might be to some. We would definitely recommend this location.

Perfect wedding weekend getaway!

We stayed here during a friend's wedding downtown and could not get over how perfect the location was! It was an easy couple minute walk to anywhere in town and you can't beat a coffee shop and brewery for convenience downstairs! April was incredibly accommodating with the reservation and details, making the weekend stress free. We were very comfortable in the beautiful condo as two couples with plenty of space and a great hang out area. Couldn't have asked for better, thank you April for making our stay fantastic!

Owners, Mark and April Lothschutz, purchased this condo in March 2019. We both grew up in Grand Haven and still consider it “home”. When we began searching for a property that could serve as an investment and fun “getaway”, we knew this was the city and space we were searching for. We live in Grand Rapids, less than an hour away and hope to spend time here as often as possible. We are super excited to share this space and hope others enjoy it as much as we do. We are committed to providing our guests with a clean and comfortable home and amenities to make their stay the best it can be!

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location!!! We simply love Grand Haven, not only for the memories we have from the past, but for all the new ones we are able to create with our girls. Gorgeous beach, quaint downtown shops, lovely boardwalk, huge playground and sand dunes to run down, award-winning restaurants and bars, all within walking distance. It truly is the perfect getaway for couples, friends or family!

What makes this property unique

Again, location. If you enjoy the beach but still want the luxuries of “city life”, this place has it all. Grab a cup of coffee and shop the unique stores downtown, visit the farmers market, marina, or stroll down the boardwalk to the beach to catch some rays, ride the waves, or watch the incredible sunsets. You also must check out the award-winning brewery, Grand Armory Brewing on the main floor!
