"Family Tides" Beach House - Surfside Beach, SC

Welcome to our family beach house, just 75 yards from the beach! Perfect for families or groups of friends, this home is located in a gated community in Surfside Beach, SC, offering comfort, convenience, and fun for guests of all ages.

The home sleeps up to 9 guests comfortably and features two queen beds, one full bed, one twin bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. Linens for all beds are included for your convenience; however, towels are not provided. The home offers 1.5 bathrooms, including a private outdoor shower, ideal for rinsing off after a day at the beach. For your beach days, we also provide two beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach toys.

Relax in the large sunroom just off the living room, or unwind with cable TV and WiFi, both included. Parking is available for two vehicles at the house, with an overflow parking lot within the community for additional cars, boats, or trailers.

Guests enjoy access to a wide variety of community amenities, including:
- Two outdoor pools with a kids’ splash pad and baby pool, plus a hot tub
- One indoor pool with a baby pool and hot tub
- Playground
- Basketball, volleyball, tennis, and bocce courts
- Community activities for both adults and children
- Golf carts available to rent through Oceanside Village

Great Family Vacation

We stayed here for our family vacation. House was clean and equipped with everything we needed for the week. Host was very friendly and helpful. Great location and very close to the beach. Would definitely rent again.

Fantastic Location and vacation home

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Surfside Beach. The vacation home was/is in a perfect location. Great ammenties. Plenty of room for a large group. I highly reccommened this VRBO.

The house was very clean upon arrival. It is located one street away from the beach which was absolutely amazing. The outdoor shower is a must for me on beach vacations from here on out. It was so easy to not bring the beach in the house with you. The beds were all super comfy. Linda was very responsive and super kind the whole trip. Def recommend.

We had THE BEST time at this beach rental! So close to the beach and the walk was like a minute or less. More than enough room for our family. We can’t wait to come back!!

Excellent stay! Loved the location

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. We specifically enjoyed the two separate sitting areas. They both had TVs and this allowed my son to play video games in the evening while we watched tv in the same general area. The beds were comfortable and the house smelled really nice when we came in. The location to the beach was unbelievable! We will be booking again!

This was such a great week for my family. The location was great and close to everything. The house was so clean. Plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The beach was literally straight across the street. Very great place. I can’t wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Linda provided everything needed to enjoy our vacation. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was extremely close to the beach, which was amazing! We were able to rent a golf cart make good use of the pools and community center. The neighborhood was nice and quiet too. We loved being in a gated community. We also loved the location as it was a short drive to Broadway at the Beach as well as Murrell's Inlet.

Perfect for our family

We had a wonderful time staying here and it was in the perfect location with a short walk to the beach. There was an issue with the refrigerator and the owner was prompt and went above and beyond by buying and delivering a new fridge the same night and bringing ice and coolers to ensure we didn't lose any food. I do recommend purchasing a gate key to enter from all gates. We will definitely stay here again!

We loved this house

The house was super clean and looked just liked the pictures did online. Communication was a breeze throughout our stay with the owner. The beach is sooo close it wasn’t a big hassle trying to get all the kids to the beach (we have 5 ). The community was great too had the pools and splash pad and a park all right there which was great for our family with young kids. My kids loved this house it really was a great fit for us!! We would definitely stay here again it’s a great find!!

Love this house!

The home came with umbrella, chairs, and beach toys! Pictures to this place do not do justice! The microwave stopped working and the owner was over in less than 30 mins! Such a sweet couple that own it! Thank you so much for letting my family stay here:) looking forward to staying here again!

From the moment of booking throughout the stay Linda was an excellent host! The home was exactly as described and very comfortable and roomy enough for our family of 9. Everything needed was available including boogie boards, chairs kitchen supplies etc. The location couldn't have been better! Right across the street from the beach. You could hear the waves while relaxing on the porch it is that close. The community the home is in is beautiful and everyone was very welcoming. Close to everything including grocery store, shops, restaurants and the pier. Couldn't have asked for a better place for our family vacation 😊 Already looking at booking next year!

Amazing

When we arrived the the office only gave us one parking pass but we called the owner she she got right on it and we had the pass within 45 mins. But other than that it was an amazing experience. The house was everything we needed all the amenities and the beach access couldn’t have been more perfect, plus there was all the beach chairs, toys etc outback in the shed. We definitely will be back every year to stay at this property. There was 7 of us and we all fit perfectly with more room to spare. Thank you Linda for allowing us to enjoy your beach house!

Roomy & Nice Stay

We had plenty of room, enjoyed the double living rooms, outdoor shower and community outdoor pool. Pretty clean, recliner was broke and toilet paper roll fail off wall & only one roll of tp for the week. The community Indoor pool is not usable because it’s currently under construction we believe & it’s seems for a while. We were not aware that we had to purchase a gate key card to enter this gated community which would have been nice to know $20 btw you do get $10 back if you turn in at end of your stay lol Owner of property was very nice & easy to get ahold of, have a nice time just didn’t care for the tightness of this little community Beach was very close, right across the road, we wanted to rent a golf cart but outside rentals aren’t allowed in this gated community which we didn’t know until we asked.

Perfect for family

I loved the amenities. There were so much for the kids of all ages right in the community. The beach was literally right there. The main strip was a couple of minutes away and there was everything there. Everything was so easy. It was just perfect.

Very pleased

Linda was great to work with and the house was perfect for our needs. There were 9 people total (2 kids under 10, 1 teen and 6 adults) and we all fit comfortably (we did bring a cot and air mattress for the littles). The close proximity to the beach was a huge bonus!! We come every summer and would definitely stay here again!

WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. SO CLOSE TO THE BEACH AND INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POOL. LINDA IS A VERY SWEET LADY AND GOOD TO WORK WITH. I DO RECOMMEND RENTING A GOLF CART.
