Elevator wasn’t working when we got there so not pleasant for being over 70. We knew the apartment was 2 stories, but didn’t know the only way up/down inside apt. was a narrow spiral staircase. Bedrooms were down, living/kirchen up. Would have been nice if there were a few coffee pods provided so we didn’t have to find a grocery store the first day. Very smoky from bars below with windows open.

Indeed, when you arrived, the elevator was not working. I immediately contacted the building manager, who sent a technician, and the elevator was repaired the following day. I acknowledge that this is not a very pleasant experience when you first arrive. We are on the second floor, but fortunately, what you did not mention is that you had the good fortune to meet a young man in the building, who lives there and helped you carry your luggage upstairs. Regarding the internal staircase in the apartment, as you can see in the photos and as clearly stated in the listing, this is a 120-square-meter duplex. On the lower floor, there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a toilet. Upstairs, there is a large double living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and another toilet. So you were aware before your arrival that there was an internal staircase in the apartment. Regarding the coffee capsules, I am truly sorry. Indeed, there were not many available for you. I was supposed to buy more, but it is true that I was upset about the elevator issue and, at the time, I prioritized taking care of that problem, as it was the more urgent matter. I would also like to point out that the supermarket is only a two-minute walk from the apartment.

Awesome location, super convenient and in the middle of night life. Windows impressively blocked out the nighttime noise. Host was great, be cognizant of the extra cleaning fee not included in the price.

You can’t ask for a more convenient and exciting location. There was plenty of space for our family of five. The hosts were wonderful and friendly and our experience could not have been better in Paris. It is right in the hub of Paris and a great location to have your magical experience, and not to mention so close to the metro line to access places like the airport and Disney.

Excellent host, great communication. Property location was worth it. The restaurants near the apartment were wonderful although they stay open very, very late so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise while you sleep.

We had a very memorable stay in Paris in this apartment! Veronique was a 5-star hostess! She was amazing, contacting me before, during, and after our stay. She met us early to let us in after our long flight, and even checked on us when the streets got rowdy after a France World Cup win. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed and plenty of room for our 5 guests. It was very close to the metro & RER, as well as plenty of restaurants and shopping. The only issues we had were the EXTREME heat, which would have been ok if we could have opened the windows. However, we couldn't open them due to the loud and lively night life in the clubs below us. This wouldn't be an issue if not for the summer heat wave. This would be a great place to stay if you plan to take advantage of the night life in the area!

Terrific location in a busy & vibrant area near Las Halles shopping mall. Many restaurants, bars, shops. Host is Terrific and very accommodating. The spiral stairs to / from entry of the apartment are difficult, but this senior did them at least 2x per day! There's a lift, but it's tiny. Bedrooms on 2nd floor, kitchen, family room & dinning on 3rd floor. Another spiral staircase in the interior connects the floors inside the apartment. The host made it special.

Our family of 5 (3 older teens/young adults) had a wonderful 5 night stay in this apartment. The location is so accessible and walkable to many key Paris attractions! We loved the large living room space. The spiral staircase is very steep but I assume most 2 floor flats are similar (unfortunately my husband sprained his ankle the day before we left for Paris). We weren’t able to access the 3rd floor entrance, only the 2nd floor door because other renters forgot to leave the key and Annick couldn’t locate the backup set, that made coming and going for 5 people a bit of a challenge but we made it work. Annick was very responsive and easy to work with. Thanks for a great stay!

Great stay in a unique flat in a wonderful location near landmarks and the Metro. Vibrant and feels very local. Communication and check in process with host was fantastic. Very clean with everything you need for a great visit to Paris.

Amazing stay in central Paris.

This is truly an amazing rental in the center of Paris. You are literally steps away from the subway so it is easy to get everywhere. Lots of cafes and other stores within a block. Apartment is very well equipped and the communication with the property manager was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

Great Stay

We had a great stay at this VRBO. Annick was a great host and the check in process was easy. It was a great location close to the metro which made it easy to get around Paris and it also had some very good restaurants right in the neiborhood. Also the flat was a tad loud at night, with some night life right below

Perfect location and host

We absolutely loved this property. In the thick of all the excitement and so close to the metro. Easily accommodated a last-minute guest to make it five of us. Annick was wonderful. Met us at check-in, thank gosh, as we would’ve had trouble finding the place, and helped us arrange transportation to the airport at the end of our day.

Annick is a great host. She recommended restaurants forma special occasion and helped with booking a car from the airport. The apartment was spacious and light even on a rainy day. We booked this without much knowledge of Paris and we were surprised how close everything was. The Seine, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Shakespeare and company books store, were all with in a few minutes walk. The Metro, bakeries, restaurants, and shops literally at your doorstep. We could not have asked for more. A great place o stay.

Week in Paris

The apartment was perfect for us. My favorite neighborhood. Close to the metro and many good restaurants and shopping. The downstairs bedrooms each had their own shower room. So we had some private space. The kitchen was well equipped and the salon was a great place to relax together.
