Peace and tranquility of 4 lakefront acres awaits you at this three bedroom and two bath home located on beautiful Lake Guntersville.

Located at Buck Island on 4 acres on Guntersville Lake. Just north of Downtown Guntersville. Great for families, fishermen, golfers and any outdoor lover.

The home has three bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, living room and huge screened in porch. Master bedroom has king size bed and twin bed. Second bedroom has queen size bed. Third bedroom has a queen size bed. Living room has futon and flat screen TV. Kitchen has a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, Oven/Stove. Screened in front porch open to views of lake. Large fire pit and secure private boat dock with electrical hookups on site.

Gunters Land Golf course is a 5-minute drive.
Downtown Guntersville is a 10-minute drive filled with restaurants, coffee shops and antique stores.

Relaxation in Guntersville

The house was in a great location with a laid-back feel. We rented a pontoon boat for the day from Lake Guntersville park and would recommend that for a fun day with the family!

Location is wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the screened porch and boat dock. Furnishings are older than we are accustomed to, but the online pictures accurately reflect that.

Overall was great we had several boats and parking was tight the first time we stayed the field and trees were trimmed and neat this time they were not we still enjoyed the stay and would recommend this property to others. Nice place. Clean and comfortable. Too much grass in the lake to make fishing successful. Bedrooms a little warm. Unable to use the stove oven due to being locked. Overall it was a good trip. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet comfortable place to go for a few days.

Lake house ON the lake

House was like going to visit my mom. Clean, tidy, well maintained. Loved the vaulted ceiling, the ping pong table and most of all, the glass wall that gave a great view of the lake from any place we sat. Vintage furniture was comfortable and interesting. Love the phone table/seat and the land line phone in the kitchen. Night fishing off the dock was really successful. Catch and release for the next renters.

Over promise, under delivered

To start with the house smelled old and like moth balls. EVERYTHING was locked up-no paper towels, trash bags or even sofa cushions. The towels were old, not much bigger than a hand towel and as thin as my pinky nail. One of the few items available for us to use, the iron, burned my shirt, then we lowered it even further & it burned my husband’s brand new shirt. As soon as we arrived the stairs broke, and the screen on the porch was hanging there. We tried to reach the host through multiple ways-Vrbo, the numbers listed at the house as well as the after hours number with no response. If this is what they want to present to renters, they should drastically lower their price!

I'm very shocked by this review. This renter stayed 2 nights in our rental. They called one time asking for the wifi password that I responded and gave to them again even though they clearly didn't read the check in information that was sent to them. I followed up twice to be sure it was working properly with no response from the renters at all. Paper towels and trash bags are always included along with sofa cushions (why would there not be sofa cushions?) and all amenities. The iron situation is very unfortunate but seems like user error shouldn’t equate to a 1 star review of the property. The house is clearly depicted in the rental photos. These renters broke the trim off a step inside of the house and did not let us know of this damage.

Had an issue with not getting email from vrbo and had to resend and got it later. lights in big room were having issues with the balance had to work with them AT TIMES to come on. But love the cabin and works great for our family vacation. Hope to book again next year if all works out. Appreciate ya'lll so much

Worth the View!

We enjoyed the weekend getaway with family, the view is beautiful and the lake house is spacious and very clean. Loved the huge porch overlooking the water. Grandson caught a two- pound bass! The ping pong table provided entertainment with competition games. Definitely will revisit!

Great place on the lake

Had the best weekend at this house on Lake Guntersville. Perfect place for two couples and 3 teens. Not fancy but super clean and the perfect weekend getaway. The outdoor porch area is the best place to end and start the day. The ping pong table kept the teens entertained after we were off the water. Nice dock and the boat launch is only about 10 minutes away. The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and a very quiet neighborhood. Couldn’t have wanted more for the weekend.

Truly Waterfront

We had a great stay at Crosswinds. It is a peaceful place with a beautiful view of the water. I would have been content to spend all my time sitting on the screened porch looking out over the lake but the grandkids were having so much fun catching bream from the boat dock that I had to join them. The property manager was extremely easy to deal with and I think if there had been any problems while we were there that they would have been taken care of immediately. We will definitely stay again if they will have us.
