Vicky, overall I do want to thank you for the majority of your review. You were truthful in everything you stated. I do need to express a major disappointment however, even though you did state that you had been told four things. Number one we did have substitute cleaners which you knew. Number two . You completely agree to that that was okay. Number three, you were given 5 and 1/2 hours of extra time beyond the normal check in and check out times. We very easily could have charged $250 per hour but we didn't as other hosts that's what they charge. Number four. A three-star review, I feel, was completely unbelievably low for everything that I've discussed. I would like for anyone that reads this response, that I have had very few three stars over the years, very few four stars, and a very vast majority of five stars for a cumulative 4.7 out of 5 Stars which indicates that is excellent!! When you arrived two and a half hours early the first thing you did was mention to me that the cleaners missed three things which was number one bottom of the oven wasn't cleaned, number two, about 1/3 of the back of the dishwasher haven't been cleaned and the third photo that you sent me showed a black part in the back of a cupboard which was a black screw which look like a piece of large dirt or something. That was very easy to have been mistaken by you so I just wanted to add that. I found that out for the first time when I went there after your group had departed. However, I did appreciate very much the very favorable things that you said in the of your critique. Thank you very much for that. Also, I am very sorry that you and or your group was to satisfied with what you stated in those three photos and I can see that was the only thing you were dissatisfied with but at the same time, I'm apologizing for the two things that my substitute cleaners missed. I do again, appreciate the nice things that you did State about your stay. That was a mistake where it said $250 per hour it's actually 100 - 150 dollars per hour not $250.

I want to thank you graciously for your kind review as to how much you like the house and your kind words about communication, etc. Also, after finding out it was the stairway from the house down to the garage that needed some attention, I apologize for that is our cleaners don't usually take care of that but I'm going to talk to them to make sure that they pay complete attention to the stairway from now on. I am completely sorry for you being unhappy with the reservation. I'm going to try my hardest to be very cordial and point out items that are extremely important to both of us. By far, the most important thing is that you are unhappy with the cleaning I apologize for whatever was missed by my cleaners. You and I had an agreement over two levels. The first one was that you I gave you a choice of canceling the reservation or accepting my secondary cleaners and you said it's absolutely okay with your secondary cleaners. The second item is we allow you to come in hours early as a Goodwill gesture and you stated great. I do not know what our substitute cleaners missed but I do know they were worried as they found out that they didn't have the normal time to do everything so I take responsibility for not preparing them earlier in the day. You did send me eight photos but I honestly found only one item that all eight photos that had any problem with the cleaning. The one photo that was definitely not good cleaning was where they did not put tin foil or aluminum foil in the burner plate. Sometimes it's hard on photos to see everything so I apologize if I didn't see something that I should have. I will now address every item listed with your on happiness and respond. Number one you stated that home was not well stocked and that may have been true, however, and the information we sent you we did State please contact us with any needs and we will bring them over immediately. We do pride ourselves in customer service. Number two I will take full responsibility that I didn't state that whites shouldn't be washed cuz the iron can leave stains. That was my fault that I didn't express that to you before arrival. Number three, the rails for the sliding door are greased with dark colored grease and that's why you thought it was dirty. Number four sorry we didn't have an emergency door in the one bedroom upstairs. Hot tubs should never be inside the house because the moisture will do things to the interior of the hot tub room and we are sorry that there was any mold or anything of that type in the room. Number six, we have looked and looked for any gaps in the deck and couldn't find any but we will look again. Number seven we could not be able to do anything about the stairs going to the main living quarters because those are standard and that's the way when we bought the house. Number 8 the only out of date thing I could find was the Seahawk blanket that was missing from the photos that were on the profile. Number nine I'm very sorry that the people that lived one block away we're working on their deck and it was bothersome to your group and I apologize for them. I've tried to be as objective as possible and hope that everything is taken and good instead as I've been as open and honest as possible. In conclusion, whatever inconvenience the home and the area caused you I'm very sorry that this day wasn't better. Sincerely, Larry

Your group was awesome and thank you so much for leaving the house the way you did very tidy very nice and following all the instructions during your stay and when you checked out.
