A chic and elegant home between Arcachon and Le Moulleau, 5 minutes from the beach

Although this review does not come as a surprise considering the exchanges I had with this guest, I want to state that - Arcachon has always been safe during the period - it was full of tourists in the town and on the beaches - Arcachon was accessible by road during that period and as August 1st, date of supposed arrival of this guest, direct trains had also restarted - I was there the full week before with 4 kids aged 5-8 and could only testify that all was normal, also sent pictures to the guest as a proof - the guest firstly told me he wanted to cancel with a full refund , which I found no valid reason to accept, especially in the most requested week of the year - 1 day prior to arrival he finally wrote me that abritel had also stated that Arcachon was safe and that therefore he wanted to come . I told him this is great news !! - the day of the arrival he then told me that he finally decided to not come because he had organised himself a plan B, which he could not get refund for So basically this person asked me to refund his stay, while keeping another one I understand the fires have caused anxiety, and anyone reacts it’s own way, but considering Arcachon was never evacuated and not even close to be, I did not find any valid reason for a full refund. My decision was supported by Abritel

Cher Eric suis très étonnée de vos commentaires car ma maison est notée 5 étoiles sur les différents sites de location mais également car vous n’avez remonté aucun de ces sujets pendant vos 15 jours de vacances Important de préciser que les deux chambres ne sont pas sans fenêtre, mais en deuxième jour, elles sont baignées de lumière par la grande verrière du couloir et les locataires apprécient souvent cette configuration qui permet qu’elles restent fraîches en été Concernant les oreillers, Elisabeth aurait peu en acheter qq nouveaux si vous aviez remonté un souci L’infiltration dans un mur est en cours de réparation mais est totalement recouverte par une protection blanche et donc très peu visible Enfin les lattes de la terrasse ont été remplacées cet été pour les plus vétustes, et le reste sera fait cet automne J’ai loué tout l’été à des familles qui ne s’en sont pas plaintes Bien à vous
