We had a great stay. The house was clean, roomy, and in a quiet location where the stars are visible at night. The owners were surper nice and informative of the area. Perfect location for a weekend getaway. Would definitely stay there again.
This home feels like you're in a quiet secluded country location but close to anything you need. The owners are extremely nice and very helpful. The property was clean and lots of room. It fit our family needs and we will definitely go back again.
The property was nice and quiet. It was exactly what we were looking for, not too far out of the way but far enough to enjoy the quietness. The house was very spacious.

Thanks so much for the great review! And for being excellent guests. Welcome back anytime!
This was a home away from home. I short drive through the country to the local town with convenient stores. The home was cozy and very accommodating. We enjoyed the ease for our travels and was close enough to all the pleasures we experienced; petit jean, lake sylvia, Little Rock Zoo, etc. We felt safe and secure with our 1 year old, and the homeowners very attentive through email or text to answer any questions. We would definitely stay here again. :)
I stayed for 3 nights alone. I felt very safe, loved the lighting in the house, the high vaulted ceilings, kitchen has everything you need, the master bath had a comfy tuv with jets and most of all.. communication was also great! I will be back!
The house was perfect for us! It is clean and spacious. It was super easy to check in and out. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and Crystal was great! Very easy to communicate with, and I would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed the house so much. It was roomy and we each had our own space but plenty of room to be together. We came for a sad occasion but it was so much better since we were together with friends. The house was perfect. Thank you so much.

Thanks, Caren. I'm so glad we could offer the perfect landing place for your stay.
Lovely home in the country. Near Petit Jean State Park and also within 30-45 minutes of Conway, AR. Large spacious living area, comfy beds, 2 1/2 baths. We didn't use the kitchen but it was well stocked with everything needed (except groceries). Hosts were easy to reach. Great stay. We would return if back in the area again.

Thank you for your 5-star review and detailed description for future guests. We look forward to hosting you again next time you're in the area.
We had a wonderful family friendly stay at Mountains and Meadows! Petit Jean was spectacular and the kids loved the Perryville splash pad and playground. The local grocery store had everything we needed for low-key family meals. We traveled to Little Rock and enjoyed the Clinton Library and dinosaur exhibit. Hurts Donuts were our kid’s favorite. The property owners were accessible and helpful. Check this property out of you want a quiet vacation or are willing to drive a bit to see the sights nearby.
The home was beautiful. It was very clean and you could tell that Crystal & Jim took pride in their home. We arrived a little ahead of check-in time and they were very accommodating. If you are looking for a quiet place away from everything them this is definitely the location. It is far enough away but not too far to enjoy outdoors at Mt Pettie Jean (20 minutes) or Mt Nebo (40 minutes). If it is city that you are looking for then Little Rock isn’t but 20 minutes away. We definitely will stay again!

Thanks so much for your excellent review of our home, and thank you for being wonderful guests, going above and beyond with cleaning and taking good care of the house during your stay.
Midway stopover from Corpus Christi, TX to Bloomington, IL. It was the perfect place to regroup. Will definitely stop again if I am in the area, especially if I have a couple days. The house is well appointed and had almost everything we could have possibly needed. (Charcoal for the grill would have been nice) it may have been there and we just didn’t see it. But, seriously the home was fantastic for us.
Enjoyed our first night there. Beautiful, clean home. Had issues with the property manager due to miscommunication. They do check on you quiet frequently and their home to see how their home is doing. (Understandable but sometimes it’s overwhelming) Only thing I didn’t like was that the owner lied and said she was the cleaning lady just so she could get inside to see what was going on. Other than that, good place.

I don't believe there was any miscommunication on our end. House rules were clear on the website and posted on the refrigerator. I am the co-owner and did not lie to get in. I brought new towels, washcloths, and paper supplies while we were passing through. Any excess communication was to ask you to plug the cameras back in and to be upfront with any issues or expectations. Your 12 friends may have assumed I was the cleaning lady when I knocked since I had those items, but I never told them that. House rules were blatantly not followed, hosted a party, and guests lied.
The property is about a half hour drive from either Petit Jean State Park or Morrilton. Petit Jean is beautiful and Morrilton has a quaint downtown area. We enjoyed both. It was to have our own place to retire to away from everything else. The house was clean and we'll kept on a very quiet street. There were 6 of us, the youngest being my 16 year old son. So we had to use the couch as an extra sleeping space. (The full bed would work for smaller children). But there were plenty of blankets and sheets, plus there were extra air mattresses that we did not use. Everyone was comfortable. We loved it.
Owners communicate quickly, property is quiet and grocery store is only 10 min away. We loved sitting on the porch and traveling to hike Petit Jean State Park. The coffee shop and car museum are also a must stop!
We enjoyed our stay, and plan to come again. The house was very clean, My husband, myself, our 2 teenaged boys and our young daughter loved the house. We all slept comfortably. They even had air mattress which is what my daughter choose to sleep on. Plenty of room for all of us!! The Location was so nice, very close to so many lakes and of course Petit Jean. We visited Sylvia Lake numerous times, great place to swim, and then spent whole day at Petit Jean. We will be visit again.

About the host
Hosted by Crystal and Jim
Jim is a professional bass fisherman, former firefighter, and jack-of-all-trades. I am a writer, teacher, and tutor. We enjoy traveling and fishing, so we've made our home into a great destination vacation rental to bless others with a safe and relaxing home away from home. Stay a little while or a long time.
Why they chose this property
There are so many attractions within a short drive of Mountains and Meadows, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. The slower pace of the towns surrounding make this the perfect peaceful place to relax. When you want to visit towns nearby, the scenery is amazing!
What makes this property unique
Sitting on the porch watching the birds, looking at the mountain, or taking in the meadow just brings to mind a time when things had a slower pace and people had more time for rest. We love the high ceiling with windows that let in the sunlight in the large living room and stocked kitchen area. A laundry room with washer and dryer, 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms allow you and your guests to live in comfort while away from home. You'll find books, games, a desk and work area, and so much more to make your stay one you'll never forget.
