Juniper Cabin at MareGold Centre

The Juniper cabin is made up of one room with a kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom and a wood stove. There is a small deck for looking out over the fields and pond with the beautiful Bay of Fundy beyond. Constructed from locally milled spruce and re-claimed white cedar, the high walls give the cabin a bright and open feel.

The MareGold Centre is a place to enjoy sunsets and quiet. Guests come here to unplug and enjoy the moment - this energy permeates throughout the property. None of the cabins has TVs and only one has internet. This is a place to be still, respectful and to connect with nature.

Private and comfortable this is the first cabin of the MareGold Centre - a retreat centre with events, trails, gardens and healthy living. You will be able to walk the trails and access the private cove and waterfall. Watch the ferry come and go as you sit on your private deck that has the best sunsets in all of Nova Scotia. If the evenings are a bit cold there is a full wood stove to make the cabin cozy for the evening. (available only after September 15th)

30 km from Annapolis Royal and about 65 km to Digby and​ the ferry to Saint John, NB.

Cozy stay at a quaint cottage

Juniper Cottage

Our stay at the Juniper Cottage was very relaxing and invigorating. The cottage provides a wonderful view of the Annapolis Basin including the ferry transit between Digby and St John. From the bed, we were able to see the evening sky, the stars plus the water and hills to the west. We will be staying at the property again!

Certainly met and exceeded expectations

I wanted somewhere comfortable, quiet, remote, unspoiled and beautiful, close to the sea and to nature where I could rest, read, draw and paint as well as think! Other than on arrival and at departure my welcoming hosts left me alone unless I needed directions, then I received immediate response by text. My stay in the cabin was ideal and I would love to return one day.

This is a cute studio cabin with rustic touches, a very comfortable bed and a lovely view. The grounds are very scenic and fun to explore as well. I enjoyed my 7 day stay.

Perfect cabin stay

We absolutely loved this place. The cabin itself was cozy and beautiful; just the right size for a few days. The views were amazing and the property had tons of places to explore and wander around, including a beautiful spot on the rocky beach for sunset. Host was awesome and gave us a great rundown of the property. We hope to be back!
