This charming home is beautifully appointed and immaculately clean. Exactly as described in the listng and just a short walk from the beach. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Especially nice when it’s raining to have a great house, a calm, serene environment, and all the amenities.

Wonderful place

House was great, clean, cozy and enough room for us. Close to beach and restaurants so no need to always drive ! Only downfall is it's on the main street, a bit more noise and traffic then expected, but by 10 each night it was quiet. Great place!!!

Well equipped and AC worked wonderfully! The property manager was attentive and helpful.

Very comfortable accommodations; enjoyed just pulling up and front door was only a few steps away so unloading was so easy and convenient. The condo was clean and the beach decorations were lovely. Easy access; Suggestions: invest in Smart TV for family room; plug a few gaps in the backyard fence so small dogs can’t get out when going outside.

Close to beach! Clean and cute beach theme home

Had a fabulous time on our 3 night trip. The house had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. We were traveling with 2 dogs so the fenced in back yard was perfect. The location was close to beaches and tourist sites incl gift shops. Wed & Thur the King and Prince resort right on beach 2 min from our location has $5 happy hour with live music and huge fireplace. Highly recommend Half Shell restaurant for fresh catch and butter cake! The visitors center was very helpful in providing maps and good info about the island. Can highly recommend this rental.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the condition and the home itself. The owners have done a fantastic job with the decor. The absolute only issue that constantly came up were the roaches coming up from tubs and sinks and mysteriously in the kitchen during day and night. Being told by the property manager that this is normal and you just have to tolerate it did not work with us. We've stayed at VRBO's in St. Simons before and never once had this issue. Unfortunately we chose to cut our stay almost in half due to this with no apology or ownership of the issue. If this issue did not exist, we would have come back next year.

"Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had an issue with bugs during your stay, but we would like to clarify that the bugs you encountered are Palmetto bugs, which are a common occurrence in the area during rainy seasons. We have our homes exterminated inside and out regularly to prevent bugs from coming inside, but it's difficult to completely eliminate them, given the tropical climate of the island. We understand that bugs can be unpleasant for our guests, but we cannot guarantee a bug-free environment. At Emmons Realty, we want our guests to be comfortable and happy, so we offered to have an exterminator over. As the guests mentioned they stayed most of their reservation and did not have a problem. This home is one of our most popular. Please read other reviews.

Great location... But needs some updating

Great location! My family recently purchased a home on the island and I came down for that, but didn't want to stay in their home. The house is nice and was mostly clean (there was some hair left around the master shower and one strand in the Master Bedroom sheets - along with a black stain, make up maybe?) The master bed was not all that comfortable and getting in and out springs squeaked. You can tell the mattress is not thick. Couldn't get the dishwasher to work and the TVs should have had directions - as a tech savvy guy I could not get the Master bedroom TV to work, it would have been nice to have Smart TVs so I could at least AirPlay to them but we weren't in the home much but to sleep, the boogie board in the garage was broken and we couldn't find any chairs for the beach which would be a nice addition. There were also no board games or deck of cards, which I thought was odd for a rental but again, we weren't here to stay indoors. Overall the location, AC and furniture were nice and everything was fine for this stay.

The unit is close to everything we like, the beach, the Village and the restaurants in the area of East Beach. The home is well furnished and and has everything you need for your vacation. Our only regret is that this time was for only a week, instead of the 17 days we spent last year.
