This was the second year I stayed here and again it was great! The view was impressive. The house had everything we needed. We will try to stay here next year.
We enjoyed our three night stay in the heart of the Kenia fishing country. Excellent accommodations and beautiful scenery. Would recommend it to all
Thanks
This property is truly a VRBO in every sense. Family owned and super well maintained. We found everything and more that we needed as five adults to enjoy the time at this stay. We ranked this at the top of our list for future visits.
We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed this property. We are not fishermen. We had a great time with our friends that live in Ninilchik. My only suggestion is to remove the blinds and place blackout curtains. We are not used to the Alaska summer nights not getting dark. Thank you for sharing your home.
I have been doing these fishing trips for over 20 years and it has always been a challenge to find a place that would accommodate 6 people. This place worked out great. I hope to be able to stay here for many years to come
Great view, good Location, great floor layout with 3 beds and 2 bathrooms, comfortable beds, enjoyed cooking on the BBQ grill and relaxing on the patio! Would definitely recommend!
We booked last minute this property that is close to our friends’s house and it wasn’t until we got there that we realized what a great rental this is! It is fully equipped with everything we needed and then some more. The cleanliness is without parallel and the serenity that it is surrounded by is nothing like this little heavenly place. Check-in was a tiny bit confusing as the lady who greeted us knew the properties by number and we knew the VRBO name, but we sorted it out quickly and got settled in.
We stayed for 3 nights at this slice of heaven. The house was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the view was to die for. Great property for my mom who has limited mobility (only 1 stair to get in), and the double master suites were ideal for a multigenerational group.
Beautiful views & located right in between river fishing and Homer
Everything was perfect inside the house with a little more than you would expect from a host. Great view of the mountains and Bay. You will not be disappointed whatsoever if you choose to stay here. Would definitely choose here 1st over anywhere else

Dear Travelers, Ever since our first visit to Alaska in 2011 we ave been captivated by it’s sheer beauty and endless outdoor activities. Growning up in Northern California, my wife Pam and I have spent our lives camping, fishing, backpacking and sailing (to name a few). Alaska takes outdoors to a whole new level. There is something for everyone here and our home is situated in the geographical center of Alaska’s playground. Our home is situated on a bluff looking across Cook inlet at three active volcanoes which form the ring of fire which extends all the way to New Zealand. You can fish in three differant rivers within a 30 minute drive for all species of Salmon, book a charter on the ocean to fish for Halibut or go eco adventuring in to a glacier. There are endless possibilities that we would be happy to assist you with. We are new at renting our home and will be populating this posting with more information soon. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions about staying at this truely magical place. Your Hosts, Bill and Pam Emberley cell: 415-279-1340
