About this property

Oceanfront Two bedroom Condominium

This oceanfront upper level unit sleeps 4 comfortably. It has a full living room, kitchen with dining table and one bath. The master bedroom has a king with pillow topper and soft luxurious bedding. The second bedroom is smaller with queen, same pillow topper and luxurious bedding as well. The couch can make into a full size bed though the unit is sold only to 4 guests. Large private deck with propane fire pit and grill, Adirondack chairs and amazing views of glaciers and bay with no obstruction. This unit is part of The Ocean House Inn Boutique hotel and all of our guests have access to our own private trail to beach and our outdoor hot tub. Fresh towels are available daily and there is a nice little laundromat less than a block from us.

We are centrally located at base of Homer Spit, just minutes from downtown and airport. Few properties are on the water like we are but still in a quiet neighborhood so you are able to unwind with a cocktail ( wine glasses in room), take a soak ( robes in room), grill your daily catch and just take in the view. We are not a party spot but a place to relax and enjoy , no smoking or pets on property and quiet hours are observed.

Beautiful views, nicely decorated condo right on water

We enjoyed our time visiting Homer and parts of the condo. We relaxed on the porch and in the hot tub a few times and watched movies from the comfy couch. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and access to the beach. However, the rooms were a little awkward. I slept in the upstairs bedroom and couldn't stand in part of the room next to my bed because of the drastic angle of the roof. It would probably be fine for kids, but we were all adults. Also, there was a lot of furniture but no luggage racks. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating outside. The biggest problem was that when we arrived I started having a problem with my allergies and we could see a lot of hair on the couch, floor and our clothes. After contacting the owner, she provided a new vacuum and other amenities and apologized for the pet fur. Overall, it was a nice place to stay!

Top of the Spit

Beautiful property! Comfortable, cozy and perfectly furnished. Amazing views of the Mountains sorrounding the Spit and a great location to experience the changes in the tide. Our unit was perfect for a family of 4-5. Excellent location to the Spit and local grocery. Bonus was seeing moose hanging out in the neighbors yard! Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will stay here when we return to the Land if the Midnight Sun!
