Great Location and Friendly Owners

Christian and his wife were most gracious and the apartment was very cute, clean and in a good location. The apartment is on the 4th floor and only accessible by a narrow circular stairwell so not fo those with mobility difficulties. Over all we had a great time and the owners are great to work with!

Christian, the host was really welcoming and very kindly picked us up from and dropped us back at the train station with all our suitcases. The property was very lovely, fantastically positioned within the old citadel walls and very quiet from within. However, the evidently over-zealous street cleaning and waste/recycling operation in the echoey square outside the property meant we were woken up early with some regularity and considerable volume even with the double-glazed windows closed. The characterful winding stairway up to the apartment should also only be attempted if you are reasonably fit and strong. However none of this spoiled our holiday and we would heartily recommend staying here.

Chill Out In Saint Malo

The property is in an excellent location within the Old Town, everything is in walking distance. We managed to park close to the appartment and paying by the App was easy. The Host could not have done more, brillent chap so helpful pointing out what to see and where's best to eat. The appartment is up 50 steps on a tight spiral staircase, which could be an issue for some, don't recommend bringing a large suitcase! We realy enjoyed our stay, the smart TV was a nice touch.

The apartment was excellent, except there is a extra charge for sheet that should be included in the rental price. The stairway are circular and narrow, difficult for older or handicap person. Considering its on the fourth floor and no elevator. Otherwise we were happy with the place and location.

Parfaite semaine intra-muros a deux pas de la plage

Avant le voyage, notre hôte a été très disponible et réactif pour nos questions, et à notre arrivée a eu la gentillesse de nous récupérer à la gare. L’appartement est conforme à sa description: confortable, parfaitement équipé et très bien situé pour pouvoir profiter de la plage (et l’école de voile) et des commerces, tout en étant dans une petite rue tranquille. Excellent séjour en terre Malouine

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Saint Malo. Le logement était propre à l’arrivée, tres fonctionnel et parfaitement équipé. Il est surtout idéalement situé intra-muros, à côté de la cathédrale. Christian est un hôte incomparable. Il est venu nous chercher en voiture à la gare, et nous a également raccompagné notre retour. Nous le remercions chaleureusement pour son accueil, et ne pouvons que recommander son appartement.

Accès à l'appartement déplorable.

Acces à l'appartement situé au 4ème étage sans ascenseur par un escalier en colimaçon très raide, très étroit sans rampe hormis une corde à nœuds très peu appropriée et une rampe sur le cote gauche. Difficile voire dangereux pour les seniors ou les personnes à mobilité difficile. Bien que l'essentiel des équipements sient dusponibles, on peut regretter que pour ce qui concerne la chambre des parents, le store faisant office de volets soient d'une efficacité très relative laissant largement passer la lumière du jour. On peut regretter egalement que les draps soient d'une part trop court par rapport aux dimensions du lit et, d'autre part d'un aspect vieillissant ce qui laisse le sentiment d'accorder peu d'égard à la clientèle. Enfin, la qualité de l'éclairage est loin d'être agréable (ambiance blafarde...) A 73 ans, je ne retournerai pas dans cette appartenant, pourtant très bien situé dans l'intra muros de Saint-Malo, l'escalier pour s'y rendre représentant un danger réel de chûte.

Localisation idéale, tout se fait à pied. L'appartement est spacieux et possède tout le confort (les marches sont un peu difficiles à monter pour les enfants en bas âge mais cela fait aussi la charme de cet appartement). Je recommande vraiment et n'hésiterai pas à revenir!
