Great house in a convenient location to the village.

This is a great house for families as it has plenty of space and is convenient to both the village of East Hampton and the Springs. House, garden and pool also well maintained by the owner, who was great!

Excellent visit!

We had an awesome time, thanks to Billy! The house is perfect for a group - we spent many afternoons by the pool and then in both living spaces. Family Time

We rented this property for about 10 days. We enjoyed the space and location. It was peaceful, clean, spacious, plenty of towels. Billy is very responsive and kind. We were so happy to have our two small dogs as well there with us. Great family time to rest and unwind.

Unexpected Find

This was a great house for a summer share, but would be nice year-round. Despite being "contemporary" it was very warm & inviting and was a nice space for a large group, although there was plenty of privacy too. I didn't realize how nice it would be to have a bathroom for each bedroom - but that was a great feature - especially the huge tub in the master. Town is not too far away, but it's easy to just want to hang out at the pool or relax & talk in the living room or loft. Would definitely go back - enjoy!

A great summer week at the beach and this house exceeded all expectations.

We anticipated having a great summer week at the beach and this house exceeded all expectations. The house seems to have been built for rewarding rental experience.....plenty of light, large, comfortable Bedrooms, modern baths and great living space. The pool and outside surroundings were outstanding and the location was easy to all. The owner is friendly, attentive and always reachable. His goal was clearly to make our stay exceed expectations and he delivered on that across the board. I highly recommend for a family or group stay.

Great house for fantastic week away with family.

We were so looking forward to spending a week away with family and kids and this house did not disappoint. What a great configuration with lots of spaces, lots of bedrooms (each room having it’s own private bathroom was genius), fabulous pool area , beautiful beaches nearby, and conveniences right around the corner. Had the best time! Already picking out a week for next year. Great house!

The PERFECT Hamptons weekend!!!!

What an INCREDIBLE long weekend!!! What can I say about Billy and his beautiful home? Billy from day one has been kind, honest, communicative and really has thought of it all when it comes to hosting! We had everything we were looking for a beautiful home, pool, grill, plenty of space and extremely well-kept! Billy’s home is one of a kind and is the perfect place for a getaway weekend. It is nearby to by local stores etc. and not far from beaches either. We spent plenty of time at home and also went out montauk beaches, which is not a far drive or Uber. M I will DEFINITELY be back and renting again - and would 100% recommend renting to anyone looking. Next time, I will look to rent for a longer period at as well. Thank you, Billy, for housing is in your beautiful home and making our weekend as amazing as it was!

RIGHT place to spend few day with friend

Clean place, very beautiful, kitchen is fully equipped. There eight of us 6 are girl, every room come with a bath room we don't have to wait for bathroom that was prefect. Private in back yard and big pool 10 min to beach and 30 min to Montauk great to see sunrise. Plus owner was so nice I am have a new friend after few day of staying.

Great Property, Great Host!

The house is great, very well taken care of with plenty of space and beds. Working the details out with the landlord was extremely seamless, and he made sure we were fully accommodated during our stay. I would definitely stay there for future summer vacations. It was truly a memorable experience!

Beautiful, secluded, comfortable home

We stayed here for the weekend off season. Billy Kalbacher is an amazing host. He made sure we had everything we needed and then some. The house is comfortable and spacious, and only 9 minutes to the beach. We were two families with 2 older children in one, and two young children in the other, and we still had as much privacy as we wanted. Thank you, Billy Kalbacher

The house is fantastic - great place for a large group. Very private back yard with a big pool. Great for BBQ, lawn games, or hanging out. Inside there are 3 very nice bedrooms plus sleeping accommodations in the basement. Kitchen is great and living room is spacious. Billy is a very nice host and easy to communicate with. I would definitely rent from him again, and recommend it to others. Joe

What a beautiful place to stay!

The home and backyard were absolutely beautiful! The house was spacious and clean and perfect for a large number of guests. The pool was clean and the just the right temperature for day or night swims. This was a home away from home and I cannot wait to stay here again next summer!

A perfect get away for hot,city summers

This house is a perfect oasis for large families or groups of friends. It is located close enough to the center of town that is convenient to run errands or go shopping and far enough away so that it feels peaceful and private. I stayed in this house 2 times this summer and cannot wait to go back again! The house was always very clean and stocked with necessities like towels, bedding and kitchen supplies upon arrival. The spacious living areas and outdoor space absolutely make the house. The owner was more than accommodating and a pleasure to rent from. I would most certainly recommend this house to a friend without hesitation.

Beautiful home in a great location!

I have stayed at this house with my friends 6 times and each time it gets better. The house is beautiful, spacious, well equipped and accommodates my group perfectly. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we need and extremely clean. The house is always absolutely spotless when we arrive. It feels like home - only better! The layout of the house is perfect for groups of friends or large families. The large spacious living areas (upstairs and downstairs) with the backyard make it a perfect environment for entertaining guests. The house is in near perfect condition and the pool is always a perfect temperature. The owner (now a friend) is delightful through the rental process and very responsive to any questions we have. The owner is very generous and thoughtful from stocking ample towels and bedding to beach toys, chairs and umbrellas. We look forward to staying at this gorgeous home again next summer and maybe this fall/winter. I will most certainly recommend it to our friends who are looking for a beautiful, fun, and relaxing vacation.

Spacious clean house

This is a great house to stay in for the summer time. It's spacious and always clean upon arrival. The pool in the backyard is priceless compared to other rentals. Would 100% recommend staying here again.

That itself makes guests feel more at home and relaxed knowing that they are in a clean home. We also want out guest to enjoy our pool and landscaping it was designed to just for that reason to help them to relax while they are there after a long day of enjoying East Hampton for it's many other great things at you disposal.(beaching it, sailing, swimming, riding your bike, taking a hike on the many trails, going to dinner or clubbing the night away) Again Thank You for you great review and we can not wait for your return.

Beautiful and quiet - very secluded pool and yard.

Really nice house, large Bedrooms and separated just enough. The Living Room is a 2-story space with another Living Room above that and they both overlook the pool. It's large,modern and kept very clean, the grounds are the same way. We stayed for over a week and 1/2, loved every minute of it. Close enough to the Village and both bay and ocean beaches without the pricing or traffic. We'll be there again next summer.

Perfect holiday home !

We had never been to The Hamptons before so weren't sure what it would be like . We were so lucky we picked this house to stay in as Billy ( the owner) made sure we had no worries about anything ! From organising our shopping to organising our peace of mind he was wonderful ! The house is perfect for lounging , hanging out , entertaining & has everything you need & tons of space ! The pool was very large & perfect for my kids diving ! If you are lucky enough to rent this house you really will enjoy it ! V

Idyllic Escape

Earlier this month, my boyfriend and I needed a quick getaway from our hectic lives in the city. With a gorgeous fall weather forecast in store, we jumped online one night and searched for place to rent for the weekend. We wanted privacy and serenity mixed with modern conveniences and contemporary style - we found just that with this home in East Hampton. Tucked away off of a wooded country road, embraced by lush trees and gorgeous fall foliage is this modern abode. Bright sunlight drenched the interior; the sound of song birds serenaded us each morning; the smell of clean, country air filled our lungs. We literally loved everything about the home and its surroundings. At the end of the long weekend, we had to pry ourselves away from the cozy interiors. Okay I guess I should write about the actual house, right? We stayed in the master bedroom downstairs. I wish I was moving in - the space, including the closet and bathroom, were huge! The bed/linens very comfortable. We also spent a lot of time in the kitchen and the loft/living room area. The kitchen was stocked with great equipment. We were actually surprised to find such a variety of pans, blenders, etc. The living area upstairs has a plush sofa that is nearly impossible to not fall asleep on when reading or watching TV while being warmed by the sunlight pouring through the windows. Sadly, the one thing we didn't get to try out was the pool. While it was very inviting, the temperature that weekend was just too cold for us to imagine going swimming. This just gives us more of a reason to go back when the weather gets warm again. The location of the home is very convenient for East Hampton and Amagansett. We enjoyed riding our bikes to both towns during the days for some shopping, yoga, and wine. Lastly, the home owner is great - he made the entrance / exit of the home for us convenient and I would definitely recommend renting from his other homes as well (if he has other homes?).

Perfect at any age

This house was perfect for our off season escape to the Hamptons of New York. To start, I would like to mention the owner Billy. He went above and beyond in making us to feel fully accommodated. When my family arrived to LGA airport from Mexico he had sent us an email with precise directions to the doorstep and was waiting for us when we finally made it to the house. I would say it took us about 3 hours to get there from the airport once we had rented the car and gotten our luggage. It was a great surprise to see that outside was not actually a door step but a door ramp. My parents, who although are not wheel chair bound, do have difficulty with the stairs especially after a long day of travel. Billy was there and graciously helped my parents up the ramp and right into the down stairs master suit. We were impressed to find that even the shower was handicap accessible. Although there are two rooms upstairs my children rushed to fight for top bunk in the basement suit. The basement has a full shower bath and a refrigerator, which the girls loved for stocking full of soda! The upstairs became our retreat. Each room upstairs has its own spa bathroom. I was truly impressed with the size of the bathrooms, the water pressure of the showers and the large half wall mirrors! We also loved the upstairs loft living area. The leather coaches were classic and surprisingly cozy and the 360 view of oak trees truly makes a relaxing view. My girls made much use of the heated pool, I was surprised to find that the weather is still very warm in September. A note to concerned parents, I had peace of mind about my girls by the pool because there is a security alarm which alerts you when someone has entered into the back yard. Lastly, the kitchen came fully stocked and it was nice to eat breakfast around the custom made copper and wood dining table that comfortable sat our family of six. I would like to emphasize what a treat it was to visit the Hamptons during the “off season”. I was surprised to find great offers at the restaurants, and we even managed to catch the tail end of the Hamptons Film Festival, amazing! Next year I will come during the winter holidays. The house is located just around the corner from the train stop that takes you directly to NYC.Billy also said that there is a luxury bus stop close by that is easy to use. I can picture spending the day in Manhattan and retreating back to the luxury and coziness of the Cube.

Spacious and Clean

I was pleasantly surprised by the architecture, layout and space in this home. With 4 main bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, it can fit a few families comfortably with enough beds to accommodate 12. 2 living rooms provide ample space for socializing, and the natural light and tree views from windows on every wall make it a relaxing and quiet spot. While not luxurious, we felt that it was well maintained and clean. We didn't have the best weather, so we weren't able to make use of the heated pool. The owner was pleasant and easy to deal with.

I am someone who has been lucky enough to summer in Amagansett and East Hampton my whole life. My family has been summering here for more than 60 years. We all have moved to East Hampton over the past 40 years.
I became a builder and have been lucky enough to work with some of the most talented architects on the East End.
So that said I took my experience of summering here and building some homes for clients. With that experience I designed and built the White House I house I feel is set up in a way that you really get to enjoy a home and experience life in the Hamptons.
