Ruff Life is a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath house located 0.8 miles north of the Garden City Pier in the second row beach house community, Portobello II. The community is a quick one-minute walk from public beach access across the street on North Waccamaw Drive. This ocean view home features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, Quartz countertops, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Four TVs, DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king (upstairs), one queen (upstairs), and two twin-sized beds (upstairs) plus a queen-sized sofa bed. Outdoor amenities include a private covered porch and community swimming pool. Interior stairway. Dog-friendly. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other points of interest include Marlin Quay Marina and restaurants Sara J's Seafood Restaurant, Gulfstream Café, and Original Sam's Corner.

Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community considered the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina" and home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile-long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district.

Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of the MarshWalk. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems, and the Lowcountry Zoo.

It's a picturesque and exquisitely preserved southern city with antebellum architecture, cobblestone streets, and historical landmarks.
