We had a lovely stay and Stacey was a top-notch host greeting us personally even when we arrived later than expected. We loved learning about the rich history of Leading Fields and its apple orchards and were in awe of the beautiful setting. We were sad to leave, but are looking forward to a future stay.
We had an wonderful stay. Stacey has made this lovely Vermont home such a wonderful place to rest, relax, restore, and enjoy a stunning setting in the Vermont countryside. We will be back without a doubt!

Thank you Heidi!
It was a pleasure to meet and host you. I look forward to your return.
We stayed for several days as a family and it was wonderful from start to finish. Stacey makes one feel at home with lots of special touches, and the house and surrounding gardens and countryside are beyond beautiful. We especially enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen with all that’s required to have family and friends to dinner; a fire pit outside by the swimming pond, and Adirondack chairs on a hillside overlooking the mountains.

Thank you! It was a pleasure to host you and your family, and I hope you'll return another time.
Leading Fields is wonderful. The home is spacious and clean. It is an ideal location for relaxing, and getting together with old friends. My only complaint is that the listed price did not include the cost of damage insurance.

Thank you, John! I'm so glad you and your friend enjoyed your stay. We hope you'll return another time. I'm sorry about your pricing concern, however it needs to be directed at VRBO as they set the additional damage insurance pricing not the homeowner. Only a portion of what you pay to VRBO is paid to the homeowner. We were happy to host you!
Our stay at Leading Fields was just what we needed -- so peaceful and beautiful. You have an amazing property with beautiful trails and it's ever so special to have the labyrinth on the land. Our long weekend getaway nurtured our souls and we thank you. with gratitude, L&K

Thank you Lucy! It warms my heart to know your stay suited your needs. Come back again. Stacey
Large home with privacy in the mountains. Very restful area. Yet, close to Woodstock. Everybody slept well in cosy beds. All possible amenities included. For sure, we will come back.
This is a very big, clean house, with a well-appointed kitchen and new bathrooms throughout. The only negative for us was that it was too far to Killington Mountain, about 40 minutes. Other than that, I would recommend this house.

I'm glad you enjoyed my home! To all who read this review, please note my home is close to many wonderful things and places. If you are seeking a home to ski Killington it will work, however there are homes closer to Killington. My home is very close to the ski area Suicide Six. Thank you!
Leading Fields is a beautiful, peaceful and tranquil retreat. My husband and I were fortunate to spend our honeymoon here and enjoyed our stay immensely. Stacey has done a remarkable job restoring her grandmother's home, the former residence of renowned artist Barbara Kaufman. Each room is tastefully decorated, and her grandmother's sculptures are thoughtfully placed throughout the home, gardens and hillside, giving the property a unique and soulful charm. There are multiple walking and hiking trails that offer wonderful views of the Vermont mountains, along with a serene labyrinth and pond. Every detail - both inside and out - has been meticulously cared for, creating an atmosphere of harmony and quiet beauty. Stacey was a wonderful host who took the time to get to know us and share the fascinating history of the home - something we truly enjoyed and appreciated. Elisa warmly greeted us upon arrival and gave us a thoughtful tour of the property, making us feel instantly welcome. I felt a positive, and calming energy throughout the property, and would highly recommend Leading Fields to anyone seeking a remarkable place to relax and restore.

Thank you, Cyndi! We enjoyed hosting you and it was a pleasure to meet you both. We are happy when our guests are happy! We look forward to seeing you again. All the best! Stacey
Everything about this beautiful home and property was fantastic. Check-in was perfect. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. Several great rooms on the first floor to enjoy a book and a drink. And we loved hiking around the huge property on the paths that are thoughtfully maintained. The views from top of the meadow were wonderful. The fire pit by the pond each night was a great way to end the day. Wonderfully quiet at all times. The town of Woodstock is a short drive away (and the Woodstock Farmers' Market is an absolute gem). Definitely worth a short trip to the Woodstock Inn and to Simon Pearce, as well, while staying here. Absolutely wonderful home and experience, and when we're back in the area we'll certainly return here.

Thank you! It was a pleasure to meet you and to host you and your family. I look forward to your return! Stacey
The property and house were both spectacular, with amazing artwork and statues all around. The house was clean, filled with antiques, and much larger than the pictures would convey. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you George! I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay, we'd be happy to host you again. Stacey
A friend told me about Stacey's place in the fall and I couldn't wait to experience the property. Exceeded expectations. Two feet of snow fell a couple of days before our visit and the fields were blanketed in white, creating an idyllic winter scene. Each morning we were treated to a storybook scene through a wall of windows in the kitchen. The house has been updated recently and it looks amazing. I feel like we might have been one of the first guests after the work was completed, it was that pristine. The temperature was minus 20 some nights but the house was warm and cozy, with no drafts. The kitchen is perfect for those who want to cook up a storm, we did. I could go on and on. I was up with my family for a long ski weekend. Everyone loved it.
To top it all off, we were greeted by Elisa who made us a homemade apple pie. Still warm when we arrived. Now that is a first!
Can't wait to experience this place in the summer and fall when the colors are popping and the grounds are more roamable.

Thank you Tony!! I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay at my home and we look forward to having you return. All the best - Stacey
Three friends and I had a wonderful stay at this private Vermont venue. Gorgeous views from all the windows in the house and the trails. No need to go anywhere else to hike - you can walk for miles without leaving the property. Our hosts Stacey, Elisa and Dave could not have been more gracious and accommodating. Looking forward to returning next year with my family.

Thank you Kristen! We enjoyed hosting you and look forward to your return visit. Stacey
This is by far one of the most beautiful spots I’ve ever stayed, and so easy to get to. The secluded, well-appointed and extremely comfortable home is set in the most stunning gardens and fields. The labyrinth is perfect, as are the views of the mountains and the eclectic sculpture created by the owner’s grandmother. While you feel a million miles away from everything, the quaint town center is just 10 minutes away, with lovely shops and restaurants. Truly a must-return spot for my family.

Thank you Laurie! It was a pleasure to host you and your family.
Our family enjoyed spending a wonderful New Years together at Leading Fields! This home is lovely with comfortable rooms and beautiful views of the property. We enjoyed hiking and relaxing and being within a few minutes of Woodstock and S Six for skiing! Hope to make it back to experience other seasons!
Thank you!
The house and land are so beautiful and quiet, but very easy access to town. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful. Will totally be back! Highly recommend!
