Beachfront 3BR Villa with Panoramic Gulf Views & Large Shared Pool w/King Bed

Beach Villa 2029 is directly on the beachfront in the South Seas Island Resort. It shares a nice pool and furnished sun deck, as well as walking paths and a beautiful, wide sandy beach. Even in the busiest season, there is plenty of room on the beach, and on the prettiest days, you may find it as uncrowded as the photo at the top of this page.

Enjoy the commanding view over the beach and ocean offered by the screened lanai. Starting with morning coffee, maybe a noon meal, or cocktails through dessert during an extended sunset and twilight, this could be one of your favorite spots on Captiva.

*PLEASE NOTE: we are not part of the South Sea Resort’s rental guest program so guests do not pay for and are not eligible to use South Seas’ amenities, i.e. golf, trolley, fitness center, or the North slide pool.*

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Master bath shower moldy and faucet didnt work for hot water at first...day two had to kill a large Florida roach....when called they dropped off a can of roach spray!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wish we had known property did not have an elevator. Very hard for luggage and groceries up two flights of stairs. Also did not like spiral stair case. Otherwise was very satisfied. Pool was very nice and quiet. Loved all the restaurants. Beach was nice and quiet. Beautiful sunsets from the condo. We go to Captiva every year. Have been going for years.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. View of the ocean, and just steps from the pool. The condo is nicely equipped (nice appliances, including a Keurig). My only disappointments were relative to laundry and WiFi. There was not laundry in the unit. Needed to make use of communal laundry machines on lower level ($2 per wash and $2 per dry). The condo write up led me to believe there was private laundry. Additionally the WiFi for the condo did not work. The router may need replacing. There is general South Seas WiFi, but that is spotty at best.
