Beach Vacation

Great week at the beach with our family of 11. Beautiful home and perfect location. Short walk to beach and community pool. Enjoyed sitting out on decks and seeing the ocean and hearing the waves. House was well stocked with kitchen essentials and there were beach toys, floats and chairs for our use in the garage. Management was quick to respond to any questions. We all had a great time and look forward to returning.

Family Vacation

This property was everything it was advertised. We had our two daughters and their husbands along with our four grandchildren and the house was perfect for that. Just a few steps from a great beach with access to umbrellas and chairs. Stayed at different places over the years but this was one of the best!

Fantastic location!

This rental property is SO close to the beach, you can easily enjoy it both outside and inside! The beds were all so comfortable, and there’s plenty of living space for a group of 12-14. The kitchen has everything you could need. My one recommendation to the property management group: if your guests are staying for less than four nights, it would be great if you go ahead and provide enough dishwasher pods and toilet paper for the length of the guests’ stay. We needed to buy them after the second night, and had to leave extras (wasteful).

Great location, view and layout. Very convenient access to the beach. Plenty of room and comfortable beds. The stay was great but our only issue is the overall cleanliness of the home. Could use a solid deep clean, especially the kitchen.

Love the property with a couple exceptions

There was a large sink hole in the garage underneath the shower which looked dangerous. Also the garage door didn’t work Also it was hot upstairs because you couldn’t turn the air below 72 degrees, could be a problem in the summer. The location was great not a far walk to the beach . We would go back again, hopefully repairs will be done.

Beach Vaca

We had a great family vaca. Lovely house, great location to beach and pools, nice kitchen and utensils& pots& delux ice maker, needs new frying pans. Comfortable beds, nice size rooms & bathrooms. The 2 bunk bed alcoves were cute but needed blackout curtains as also the 2nd floor bed room too. One problem was it was advertised/pictured to have Beach Towels and there were none. We didn’t bring any so we were short on towels. Nice laundry room, but we had to scrub the mildew out of the washer. There were extra beach chairs(2), cart and toys. I asked for an extra key fab and received it. That was needed. The grill was out of propane, I texted Services at 4:00pm and received it the next day. Beach chairs and umbrella had to be rented, nice not to have to carry them, but they set them up very close together. We would stay there again.

Great Home- Beautiful Beach- TERRIBLE BEACH ACCESS

The home is beautiful. The beach is beautiful. The check in process and communication was great. Everything great, EXCEPT the beach access is not as advertised and the management company was not reasonable about working out a solution. The check in email had a beach code for the gate, however when we arrived, there was no place to enter code, it had been replaced with a key fab. Access to and from the beach was mandatory with a key fab/ magnetic gate. There was only 1 key fab left for the entire home. We had 8 guests, the home sleeps 14. 1 key fab means, if you go to the beach you have to all go together. This is completely unreasonable to think all 8 people with go down to beach and up to home at same time. We immediately called management company and they said HOA only allows for 1 key fab. The management company sent email with this as well, On second day, this was becoming a huge drag. Imagine going down to beach in the am to see sunrise or go for walk. The others in your party want to come later, but they cannot access the beach bc only 1 key fab.

Nice House and Great Location

The house is very nice: clean, nicely decorated, and suited our party of 3 moms and three teenage daughters well. There is a nice view of the beach between the houses situated in front of it, and the beach access gate is right next to the house. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five, is that I found it strange that although the kitchen was fairly well-stocked with plates, pots/pans, etc, there was absolutely nothing for basic cooking. No salt & pepper, no oil or vinegar, no herbs and spices. The rental company did give us one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and a tiny bit of soap to get started, but having to purchase all of the other necessities for a five-day stay seems like such a waste. There are also no books, games, or even a deck of playing cards, and with two days of rain and clouds, those would have been a welcome addition. Lastly, the wi-fi and cell signal are terrible at the house, so if you plan to get any work done, or need to make a call while staying here, be warned! All in all, we had a nice stay, it just didn’t feel very personalized having to communicate through a portal that didn’t work, or calling a call center to ask questions, and for the price, a bit more creature comforts would be nice.

Prior to each guest checking in, Southern provides a link to our guest portal containing property information and amenities offered in each unit. In the interest of our guests, Southern provides an initial roll of toilet paper, paper towels, and a trash bag however, any additional items needed that were not listed in the guest portal description, must be provided by the guest. Unfortunately, Southern does not provide condiments, spices or other personal cooking items, we do ask our guests to provide those. Regarding the internet issue, our deepest apologies. Due to the surrounding area's process of upgrading to fiber, this has unfortunately at times caused some interruptions in the Wi-Fi services. We do apologize as this most likely was the issue but would like to assure you this is not an ongoing problem. The Owner provides games in this unit for guest use. They are located in the cabinet near the game table. We appreciate all guest feedback and are happy to pass it along to our management team for future consideration. Hidden Gem

We loved this house....we have stayed in summers edge 5 times in previous years. This has to be our favorite house of all! Beautifully decorated. The porch is the ideal place for morning coffee, lunch and evening sunset happy hours. Since we were visiting in December, sunset came early, at 5:00! Our slice of beach view was heavenly. We also enjoyed the fireplace every evening. The beds were awesome and among the best I’ve experienced in a rental. I hope to have the opportunity to stay in All Decked Out again someday soon.

Perfect trip

We loved our stay and the house was amazing. It had everything we needed. The only bummer is the tightness of the neighborhood and no golf carts allowed. The master shower does not drain and the shower door is broken. But other than that, location to beach and Seaside is great.

Great house with beach view and ten steps from the beach path, plus 2 porches with beach views!

This is a great place to stay for extended family and friends. We took our two daughters and their husbands and a 3 year-old grandchild and still had a spare King bedroom (all bedrooms have private baths too) as well has a couple of cute/quirky single beds near the landings. An ice machine and bar sink in the kitchen were an added surprise as well as a gas stove, and the second and third floor verandas were a great place to read and drink coffee in the mornings and have drinks in the evenings. It's not a full beach view but There are plenty of towels (even ones for the beach) but ask for additional dish towels. We could only find one. The coded gate/walkway to the beach was at the end of our short driveway and we could reach the beach in about 45 seconds. One of the 2 pools was just as close. The 4 free bikes (with identical coded locks) were great for a leisurely 20 minute pedal to Seaside and we called the bike service the first night and got a child's trailer (with seating for 2) that was installed early the next morning while we were still asleep for a one time $54 charge for up to 8 days. The house and neighborhood aren't brand new but are still upscale and private. This place is a great getaway with abundant trees and shade around the houses and pools. We parked all 3 cars in the nice enclosed garage under the house. That's about it. We'll definitely return!
