We loved this cabin. Great location. Property was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved the back patio with the creek right there. Very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a fantastic time! The cabin is adorable and the surrounding property is beautiful..
We stayed at the cabin for 4 days with our adult children and 2 dogs. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The cabin is beautifully appointed and in a great location near hiking trails, cross country skiing and not too far from Estes Park. We highly recommend!!
This property was very cozy and serene. Although there were other houses close by, it felt very private and secluded. The river was beautiful and our family loved fly fishing. We would definitely stay here again.
A wonderful cabin with a breathtaking river view. Close enough to Lyons to get forgotten provisions, but still feels secluded. My husband and I enjoyed the long weekend of quiet and great nearby hiking with the dogs.
Absolutely beautiful stay at River Bend. The cabin was immaculate and the back deck on the river was peaceful and invigorating. Great communication with the owners. Highly recommended!
Host was so amazing and kind, very clear of what they expect when staying at the retreat! If you’re looking for a secluded area to enjoy nature seek no where else! Also welcomed our furry friend with simple guidelines to follow!
House and location was perfect for us to relax after a busy week with the family in Colorado Springs area. The stream is so relaxing. House is very cute and clean! The welcome basket was so thoughtful and appreciated. Communication with the host was so easy and appreciated. Definitely a must stay for relaxation!
Everything about property was amazing. So many places in the home to relax. Deck with river was our favorite. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven it was very memorable.
The setting is spectacular—only a few feet to the creek from the deck! The cabin is cozy and comfortable with high-end bedding and kitchen supplies. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolates. It doesn’t get much better than this if you’re looking for a mountain retreat AND we were able to bring our fur baby too!
Everything about the cabin was welcoming, from the host's check-in gifts, to the tasteful and charming design of the cabin, to each cozy little corner meant to encourage serenity and comfort. There were five of us, and just enough space to give each of us room to find a quiet spot, but still be conducive to togetherness. Beautiful location on babbling stream.
Location was excellent. House was clean. Everything we needed was there. Could use a washer and dryer. And maybe a bathroom off of the bunkhouse. Maybe a gas fired fire pit. We enjoyed our stay.

We appreciate your suggestions. Unfortunately, due to forest fire danger we do not have an uncovered gas fire pit. There is also sadly no room to put a bathroom in the bunkhouse, or provide a washer / dryer to guests. We're so happy you enjoyed your stay.
I almost hate to write this review but this property was just perfect! Quiet and clean it was so well kept and the property did not disappoint. If you want to get away and live in the moment this is your place! Unwind and unplug this property will give you the best! I’m so happy to book here and would highly recommend it!
Everything we thought it would be, and more! It was so peaceful, beautiful. The only thing we wish is that their check in time was 3 PM instead of 5 pm. We truly did not want to leave this place and have friends that I’ve seen the pictures and want the information.
We loved our stay at this cabin. The view of the river is beautiful and the cabin has everything we needed. We were a little leary of the old stove, but lighting it was not a problem and it worked just fine. We really enjoyed the back deck that looks over the river. We even saw a small moose on the property upstream. The only suggestion is to have something to create some shade on the deck in the afternoons as the sun gets quite hot in the mountains. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. We would love to come again.
I can’t say enough good things about this property. Absolutely everything was perfect and the attention to detail is very clear. The decor is wonderful, the kitchen is fully stocked, there are comfortable cushions for the patio, the windows open to the amazing sound of the rushing river. There are so many places to eat, relax, and soak in the beauty of nature. The bedding and pillows are comfortable, the towels are fluffy. There’s just nothing to change about this property. If you’re looking for a perfect peaceful nature retreat after a day of hiking and enjoying the parks, you won’t go wrong with this place.
My wife and I came to this property for a week with my mother in law. The purpose for our trip was a relaxing getaway with a wintery scene; and this property met all of our expectations.
The hosts were very accommodating and made everything easy for us from giving directions to the location, to check in and out instructions. They even gave us a welcoming gift.
For us, the property was exactly what we were looking for. It was very peaceful surrounded by forgiving scenery. We were far enough out to not to be in the middle of town, but found it to be about a 30 minute drive from Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park.
If you’re looking for something low key and relaxing, this is a great spot.
If you are looking for a cozy, well-equipped cabin right on a beautiful river surrounded by nature and a little off the beaten path, then stop looking because you have found the perfect spot! The RBMR was ideal for our family of 4. Lisa and Kevin are great hosts, and communicate very well. The place is so clean. The beds are super comfy. We enjoyed time in the towns of Lyons and Estes Park, and spent a day in RMNP as well. We stayed 5 nights, but wished we could have extended at least another week! We are already talking about coming back up maybe during a summer or a fall, which says a lot because we have rarely rented a place more than once. We obviously loved it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property and cabin were extremely clean and just as described. The furniture and amenities appeared brand new. My wife loved sitting on the back patio reading her book while listening to the water rush by. It rained a few days while we were there so we couldn't enjoy the back yard as much as we wanted to. But, the images shown in the listing are a perfect representation of the property. If there is any minor downside, it is that Estes Park and the RMNP entries are about 35 minutes away. If your intent is to visit RMNP regularly during your stay and don't mind the mild commute, this is a spectacular property. We didn't mind it at all and very much enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
We’ve stayed at quite a few vrbos in Colorado. All have been great. But this one by far is the quintessential Colorado riverfront cabin. Cozy, beautiful location and close to Estes park and lyons for restaurants, shopping or outdoor recreation. Owners were great to work with to make this a perfect getaway.
