It's a small spot that is great for 2 people. The outside is great, too; I can't wait to come back in the summer and check out the rooftop deck. The neighborhood is very walkable, too. Thank you!
The house is a quaint and incredibly clean tucked away from the more energetic heart of Normal Heights. Everything we could possibly need and more in a house was provided and laid out in a way that felt second nature to us and made us feel immediately at home. I would stay here every time I’m back in town.
Fun neighborhood to stay in! Normal Heights is fabulous for great food and a safe, walkable neighborhood! A charming casita with lovely attention to the small touches. Wonderful!
Nice and quiet area, comfortable studio apartment in a lovely setting - and a 10-minute walk to breakfast places on Adams - with a bonus of the owner’s dog greeting you on the way in.
Loved our stay at this well-appointed studio. It was immaculate, had thoughtful touches for a comfortable stay, and was located close to shows at the Balboa Theatre and Magnolia. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the street was quiet with plenty of parking. We enjoyed a fun and relaxing anniversary trip and can't wait to come back to do more exploring in San Diego. Thanks Margaret and sweet doggie Reese!
We visited our daughter in Northpark and this studio was close by. It was a perfect little place for 2! It was during a hot and humid time, and had an issue with the A/C unit hookup to the window, but everything else was great. The hosts were very nice and left us a nice thank you card and cake! We would definitely stay again!
What a lovely little cottage! We had such a nice time staying here. It's a small space but it was well designed and constructed so it still felt luxurious. The kitchen was well equipped and cleverly set up. Our only regret is that it was cold and rainy so we didn't get to use the outdoor space. I guess we'll just have to come and stay again! Also want to add that we were able to walk everywhere: to Dark Horse for coffee in the morning, Blind Lady for lunch, and there's a Vons just up the street. This was an excellent location!
This location is perfect for us as it is very close to our daughter’s apartment. It allows quick access to the interstates, walking distance to restaurants and grocery shopping. Great for morning walks. Host was responsive when asked for information. Only negative was lack of wine glasses; not a deal breaker.
This place is amazing - great location, nicely appointed, super comfortable, very easy access to the VRBO, (I received check-in details a few days before my trip, which I find very comforting). The rooftop patio was perfect for watching the sunset as well as a relaxing place to read and enjoy a cup of coffee. Very clean and comfortable. It's a small space with an impressive layout for easy living for a couple. The kitchen had everything we needed, including some treats. Convenient location - easy walk to Adams Ave and a grocery store. The sweet dog Reese was an added bonus!
Our stay was perfect! The cottage was so well appointed! Comfy bed, luxurious towels, and little treats such as popcorn and chocolates were waiting for our arrival. We had coffee on the beautiful private patio and loved meeting Reese, the hospitality pup! Thank you Margaret and Mike (and Reese!) for an amazing stay!! :)
We took our daughter to college at SDSU and needed a good place to park our rental in the street and go back and forth to campus. This was perfect - and a great oasis of rest. This place is thoughtfully appointed and looks like something out of a HGTV show. Loved the treats and that they respected our privacy. Would recommend!
Super clean and nice rental with modern kitchen and a great location in Normal Heights with short walking distance to restaurants in Normal Heights and Kensington. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and accommodated an early check in. Their dog Reese is a sweetie and a snuggler and came to welcome us (we love dogs). Unfortunately, the roof deck was being resurfaced during our stay so we were unable to access it. But it looks like it would be a great place to relax outdoors in the evenings.
