Stunning top floor of newly renovated home with panoramic oceanfront views. Enjoy this 2 bed, 2 bath, open plan modern beach cottage with all the comforts of home. Enjoy marine and wildlife, morning sun and your morning coffee on the spacious outdoor decks and wake up to the smell of salty fresh air. This is the second to last house on the last street of eastern most point on Vancouver Island. Considered by many to be one the best ocean view properties on southern Vancouver island. 24 mins to downtown Victoria. 6 minutes to quaint Cadboro Bay Village.

We have increased all cleaning standards and protocols as per CDC Covid-19 guidelines. This property will be cleaned, disinfected and sanitized thoroughly in preparation for your arrival.

A stunning apartment

It’s utterly breathtaking, we found ourselves spending hours gazing out over the view. The apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, it’s very well equipped. We thought the local area was attractive too

Wonderful views and comfortable stay

Barry was a wonderful host! Extremely welcoming and helpful throughout the entirety of our stay. The home was clean, well furnished, and the views were beyond incredible (the sunsets were beautiful!). Conveniently located about 15 minutes from downtown Victoria, it was a quick drive to spend some time exploring and then you can easily return to sit outside on either the front or back balcony to relax and watch the wildlife and enjoy the views of mountains across the water. Would recommend staying here, and definitely would want to return.

Magnificent

Given the wrap around view of the ocean, it felt like we were sailing into the horizon every day. The view is spectacular, breathtaking, the sunrise revealing Mount Baker on the horizon. The owner, Barry (next door) was most helpful, cooperative throughout our stay, including letting us know when we should watch for whales! This property exceeded our expectations! Bruce and Karen

Poor Cleanliness and set up

Unfortunately only one room was made despite confirming 4 guests - 2nd bedroom was a Murphy end and we went on a hunt for sheets, no fitted sheets, no duvet etc. Place over all has a stunning view however, felt dirty. Bathtub was not cleaned and dirty socks under the couch/ garbage outside was not picked up and owner accused us of leaving garbage outside of bin - the fireplace outside ran out of propane . Not worth the price point and offering - had to call owner a number to times they wanted to fix during the day but was very disruptive to our stay. Lastly, the posting said they had a day break between visitors for cleaning and Covid protocols - apparently they had a hanged that rule but forgot to update their listing- this was very frustrating for us as we would not have booked this place - we booked it vs a hotel for that reason. So from a Covid perspective that was not a welcomed realization.
