Welcome to Summerhouse Condo in Charlevoix, Michigan, just 3 miles from downtown. When not staying ourselves, we offer our 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo to couples or small families looking to relax in a scenic and quiet setting while enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of Up North. This is your vacation destination to enjoy beaches, biking, skiing, wineries, day tripping, and so much more. We are located less than a mile from Shanahan’s Barn and 6.5 miles from Castle Farms if coming to enjoy a wedding. We are also conveniently located to many favorite Up North destinations.

Our Summerhouse Condo is located within the Charlevoix Country Club overlooking the first fairway. Our condo includes over 1200 square feet in an easily accessible lower unit (no stairs), central air, and fireplace. The condo includes a fully furnished kitchen and well-supplied bathrooms. The living room opens to a walkout patio overlooking the first fairway with seating. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a full bathroom, and a sliding door to the outside patio while the spacious second bedroom includes two full-size beds, full bathroom, and kitchenette. WIFI and smart TV and/or Roku for streaming on the living room and second bedroom TV are included for your enjoyment. Additional condo features include a full-size washer and dryer in the utility room and a one car garage.

Cutting right across the front of the CCC property is the Little Traverse Wheelway. This 29 mile long paved path runs from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs and is great for bikers, joggers, hikers and skaters.

***From July - August, we rent by the week only, with the weeks running 4 pm Sunday thru 11 am Sunday.***

Pre approval is needed for pets and may be allowed with a $75 pet fee per stay. Please send inquiry with breed, size, age, and behaviors.

Best Place to Stay in Charlevoix!

We have no complaints! The condo was clean and met all of our needs. We loved the faucets/shower fixtures and the furniture. The owners are communicative and very kind. The only suggestion we could make is that the recliner in the front bedroom is more comfortable than the one in the living room. We love this condo!!

Condo fit our needs and everyone in the Summerhouse area was very friendly. I would recommend to anyone coming to Charlevoix that doesn’t want to be right downtown. Very convenient to Country Club golf course, Charlevoix Downtown, Bay Harbor, Petoskey and just about anything you would like to do in the area. Thanks Steve.

Best Charlevoix Location!

This was the fifth time we've rented this property. Its clean, private, beautiful, and well kept. We were happy to see the great upgrades to the condo, too! Excellent Charlevoix Getaway

This was a great place to stay. We had a long sister's weekend and there were so many fun things to do! Thiscondo is in the perfect location because it's not far from Petoskey or Charlevoix. The linens and towels were plentiful, the kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to cook, and the place itself was quiet and peaceful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Communication with the owners was wonderful. Highly recommend!!

We just love Up North and had rented this condo the last two times we stayed in Charlevoix. During our last stay in July 2019, we discovered the condo was for sale. Since we realized we loved the area and the size, location, and layout of the condo, we decided to buy it from Steve. Lucky for us, Steve will continue to service the condo and act as the local contact for any emergencies that may arise. If you have rented the condo from Steve in the past, you will receive the same great service and rental experience. We are happy and excited to now have our own place Up North and to allow others to continue to rent when we are not staying ourselves.
