Welcome to Eagle's Rest, managed by Northern Michigan Escapes!
Our private guest suite is located in the lower level of our home, with a private entry.
Enjoy an open concept living room with a full kitchen, and a desk off to the side - perfect for remote working. The full kitchen features a refrigerator, both a coffee pot and a Keurig, toaster, oven and microwave. You also have a gas fireplace for those chilly Autumn and Winter Seasons.

Full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Don't forget to enjoy the enclosed patio and full access to our private beachfront. Enjoy the sunset and a fire near the beach.
We are pet friendly with a non-refundable pet fee! Charged separately if booked through a 3rd party.

Summer Season: A 3-night minimum may apply.

*The beach and firepit area are shared with the long term renters that occupy the main level of this home. If you find that they have already started a fire you are welcome to join them but they will forgo joining you if you start a fire first.

Anniversary getaway

Fantastic communication, and check in/out process. The views and the sunsets were amazing. We enjoyed the beach access and our pup loved experiencing the water. It was a perfect way to relax and celebrate together.

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat with our dog. Nice fenced in property with all the amenities and a wonderful bathroom and shower!! Enjoyed town and the gorgeous sunsets! Will definitely head back in warmer weather!

This place was exceptional! 20/10. The property is simply gorgeous, in a phenomenal location. I stayed with my family, and my sweet Rottweiler - he loved it. Extra points for dog friendly :) you will not be disappointed in your stay, I recommend everyone book this place!

The property was beautiful, clean and quiet, with an amazing view of the lake! The screened porch was a perfect spot for listening to the waves at night and enjoying a drink. Perfect Spot

This place was amazing! The views and sunsets were incredible, everything was clean and as shown. Lots of outdoor seating options, plus plenty of space inside. We did occasionally hear the renters above walking through the ceiling but nothing loud, to be expected, and we had the swing all to ourselves through our stay. We were able to explore Petoskey, Boyne City, and Charlevoix with short drives.

Gorgeous private beachfront

Modern lower level w decent furnishings, screened in patio, nice area for pet .This was our second visit and it’s still very nice and private.Could use some fly remedies as they are getting in thru some openings not sealed in the unit. We bought Windex to mitigate. There is no dishwasher so we washed all our dishes before using.Also could use a good sweeping in the enclosed patio.Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and recommend if you can deal with the mentioned issues. Thanks

Beautiful location!

The property was well cared for and spotlessly clean. Information about the rental, and ideas for activities, restaurants, etc. in the area were informative. The photos presented the interior as a much larger living area, but it was fine for 2 of us. The furnishings were comfortable and tasteful. Being on the water was a big positive, and the side yard for the dog was a big plus. The negative aspect was the fact that the upstairs renters could be heard overhead when they were home. (Their movement, music, and dogs) Fortunately, they were not excessively noisy.

Nice Lakefront Property

We had a nice weekend at this property. The location is very nice. It had a large yard that leads down to Lake Michigan with a very nice, large screened back porch, and a wooden swing and fire-pit down by the lake. It also has nice side yard fenced off if you bring your dog. Bringing our pet service animal was a big plus. A couple of negatives, the property is on the lower level so there is someone who lives above, so renters should be aware. You can hear the upstairs residents. Might also caution anyone with mobility issues and suitcases that you do have to walk down a stoney path to access the unit. It does not have a dishwasher which wasn't a big deal for a weekend, but for a family staying for longer, it may be. Amenities are in very short supply - no soap whatsoever in the shower, but there was some liquid handsoap by the sinks. Overall it is was a nice stay.
