Great spot for a getaway

Enjoyed the site. Wonderful lake views. Very clean. Close to all the XC skiing we wanted to do. And, very close to downtown.

Could not ask for better.

This house is lovely. Everything was clean an above standard. Kitchen was so well equipped. The view! Beautiful to fall asleep looking at the lake and to wake up to an amazing sunrise in the morning. Can't wait to go back.

A little slice of heaven

We loved our stay and didn't really explore much because the view was spectacular! I wasn't ready to leave.The beds and pillows were super comfy. The bathrooms were great and stocked as well as the kitchen. They provided everything and more! I would definitely come back again! The fire pit by the water was nice and relaxing. Don't forget marshmallows for roasting. Lawn chairs are provided but if you want more of a lounge chair by the beach you may want to bring those. Thank you to Bill for his friendly and quick communication and for sharing his slice of heaven with us!

Great trip

The location and views were fantastic! The house was supplied with everything you could need. Loved the big thick beach towels. Beds were very comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood close to town and the beach. Owner very responsive. Looking forward to next visit!

Second time staying here

This is the second time we've stayed in this home and we'll be back next year. The owner is ready to work with, house is in great condition, view of the lake is amazing, and the fire place is great Short drive to downtown for food or Petoskey for better options.

Lovely Home in an Amazing Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and comfortable home. Additionally Lake Michigan is right across the street from this home that is in the historic Boulder neighborhood. There are many charming rock homes by Earl Young all around this area. This home is close to town and had many comforts that we really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful! Attention to detail was well thought out and it shows that the owner really cares about their guests. We brought more than we needed. We even brought our own coffee maker and certainly didn't need it or our toiletries, games, spices, laundry detergent, etc. detergent, etc. Great location and view!anview.

Great location, great view and great house. Clean and well kept house. Nice supply of toilet paper, facial tissues and paper towels. Quiet neighborhood but close to everything! Will definitely stay there again!

Easy and professional

We appreciated everything was exactly as shown in the images, and everything in the house that we possibly could have a question about had a neat label to explain how to use. We had a quick weekend stay in October and it was beautiful.

Peaceful getaway

My husband and I and our labradoodle stayed a couple of days for our anniversary. Very clean, beautiful view, quiet, close to a grocery store and plenty of kitchenware to cook meals. The king size bed was comfy ( we didn’t sleep in the other beds). Water pressure was great. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect Winter Weekend

What a perfect location to enjoy a beautiful winter weekend in Charlevoix. Views from the home are stunning, kitchen is well appointed, beds are comfortable, and house is very cozy. Host goes above and beyond to stock the house with everything you needs - besides food and clothes! We would most definitely return.

Great spot with excellent view

This was our first trip with our 3 year old. We brought a pack and play for him to sleep in. Overall, great clean house in a beautiful location. You can clearly see the lake over the road which is not busy at all. For such a small place there is a ton of living space. One drawback was poison Ivy under the hammock, but otherwise was great. The house coming stocked with logs for the fireplace made for nice romantic evenings. I would 100% stay there again.

Winter Visit

The property was cozy and has a beautiful view of Lake Michigan from the great room. And two of the bedrooms. Just gorgeous. It’s a 30 second walk to the water. We even had 4 deer visit us. The house was stocked with spices which helped with meal fixings. The main bathroom needed a good cleaning around the sink and new caulk. But other than it was clean and comfy. Bill even left a box of logs for the indoor fireplace.

Great view

We love the quiet location of the house and the walkabilty to town.The kitchen is well stocked,the towels are nice and the owner is great at communication. We did notice dog hairs on the couch and pillows giving it an unclean feel. There was also poop in the backyard. The linens weren’t the greatest but the beds were pretty comfy. I stayed in the second room with yellow striped comforter and it seemed to have a dog odor. I realize it’s hard to have rules that are broken by selfish people- ruins it for those of us who bring our dog who's not allowed on the furniture. There may be a critter in ceiling of bathroom with the tub. Noises were heard at night. The tv was nice as well as the fireplace. We’ve stayed here before but since then it seems to need some refreshing. Also, the brown chair is pretty useless….do not know who would want to sit in it. I hope this is helpful. Overall, nice place.

Lovely Cottage!

Traveled as a couple, stayed three nights. A blip with the AC when we arrived during an unusual heat wave, but Bill was very responsive and got someone out quickly. (I don’t know if it was fixed as the temp dropped 30 degrees that night and it was a non issue!) The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed, very thoughtful to leave fire starter logs and the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware. The common area was very nice, big comfy couch, fireplace, nice tv, etc. The views out all of the front windows of Lake Michigan were beautiful, peaceful and serene! Beds, linens, etc were all very comfortable. Good location near to town, all in all a lovely little up north cottage!

Always a Cozy Stay

Great as usual

This is our third trip to this house and it was great as usual. It was arctic cold outside and it still was warm and comfortable with the fire going (and without) throughout the house.
