Gorgeous home in Chatham with a brand new heated saltwater pool and hot tub. The open floor plan, combined living and dining room, along with a separate den that also serves as a fourth bedroom, is perfect for gatherings. Upstairs, find three bedrooms with en suite bath, and downstairs, find a game room. Comfortably sleeps 14!
Central location allows for easy walks or bike rides to beaches, Main Street, Veterans field, playgrounds, tennis courts, and the rail trail, just to name a few.

Furnished with two sets of bunk beds (four twin mattresses), two leather sofas with built in reclining seats, large 4K television with Apple TV and Roku, PlayStation mini video game, ping pong table and arcade game.

My family, friends and I had an amazing stay at this home. It offered everything you need for a Cape vacation - pool, hot tub, beach chairs, towels, fully stocked kitchen, and all supplies. The home layout is ideal for entertaining and socializing. I highly recommend staying here.

This property is amazing and so close to town! The pool and the hot tub are wonderfully maintained. We walked or rode our bikes to the local coffee shop every morning. Everyone in our party enjoyed our stay.

Lovely home

The home was very lovely and the location was excellent. The pool and the hot tub were the main reason we booked and we would absolutely stay again. The salt water pool was clean and heated, the rooms were very clean and spacious and the layout of the house was inviting and comfortable.

Family wedding

The house was perfect for our group of 11! 6 adults and 5 kids under the age of 8. They loved the pool! The house has tons of water toys, beach items. It was prefect! I would stay here again for sure. The stove takes some getting used to. We had a few questions and received quick responses!

Even Better Than We Imagined

The house was clean and bright, the Aga stove was fun to try out, the salt water pool was warm enough to swim in despite the April chill, and the proximity to the bike path could not be beat. A++ we will rent again! We’ve rented a few places in this area, and this one was the favorite by far for everyone!

This rental was perfect for our family. Very kid friendly, with a pool and hot tub. It is in walking distance to downtown Chatham, local restaurants, and grocery store. Beach, pier, and fish market all a short drive or 15 minute walk. Living space was perfect size.

Well- located and equipped home

This well-appointed home is very convenient, within walking distance of virtually every point of interest (except perhaps the airport). The large backyard includes not only the pool, but a jungle gym and lots of space for running around. Many thoughtful touches, like the baby gates guarding the Aga stove, which is on full time. Owners were very easy to deal with.

Family Vacation

An absolutely lovely, well appointed home in the heart of Chatham. The home is an easy walk to the center of town as well as to Veteran's Field for baseball games and to bike trails. Though beaches are in close proximity, we found the pool a big bonus! Likewise, the grill and outdoor table/patio area. The house itself was spacious and very well maintained. We had fun experimenting with the distinctive Aga stove. The house manager Paul was readily available and responsive to all inquiries. A lovely stay!

Chatham Summer 2022

We loved the property.It is thoughtfully designed to maximize both indoor and outdoor entertainment.The fenced pool and hot tub area was the most popular feature for our family during the heat wave. The short walk to town provided easy access to all that Chatham offers and we managed to see the Chatham Anglers baseball team play at the park at the end of the street. We will happily recommend this property to friends and family.

Great Home and Location !

This review would be all 5 stars but with one exception. This home does not include bed sheets, and that is not listed anywhere on the property details. We only found out about that the day of check in. Other than that everything was wonderful and we would highly recommend this home. Great Pool/Hot Tub, location and a well appointed kitchen. The floor plan is even more spacious and beautiful than the photos show.

Toddler & Adult Haven

Our daughter couldn't believe that we had managed to find a house with a pool that had safety gates, toys, and a crib in walking distance to a wonderful toddler playground, the village, Chatham Pier Seafood, Harding Beach (parking permits provided by the owners), and owners who were eager to respond prior to and during our trip. The house is also a short walk to theater which sadly because of the pandemic was closed. Thank you Brielle and Paul for providing a delightful respite during this crazy summer! Comfortable roomy home convenient to town center

Enjoyed a week here with 2 other couples, and a few adult children. Plenty of bedroom space and bathrooms. Nice comfortable family room/kitchen/dining area for congregating and relaxing. Quiet neighborhood within 15-20 min walk of Chatham town center, and Chathams Bar Inn.

A Perfect House

We picked Serenity Now based on the fact that we wanted to be in Chatham and we definitely wanted a pool. The house exceeded our expectations! There were 8 adults and 5 children. The kids ranged in age from 18 months to 9 years old and it was perfect! The pool was a hit for sure and the automatic cover was an added safety feature that we appreciated! The hot tub was also wonderful! The hosts, Brielle and Paul were very responsive with any questions that we had. The pictures of the house were accurate and we would definitely rent there again! The house was very generously stocked with laundry detergent, toilet paper, games and a Barbie Dream house! Board games, markers, cards, etc -it had it all! We loved the location, you could walk to town, the baseball field, the train museum and fire station and there was a huge playground. We definitely were very pleased!!

Outstanding Home!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this home. The location is perfect - an easy walk to downtown and Oyster Pond Beach with the kids, which they loved. The house was so comfortable and clean with plenty of space for our large party to really spread out. Our teens and young kids both loved the game room! The pool is the highlight of the house - gated for safety, heated, and always clean! We also really enjoyed the AGA stove after we stopped being intimidated by it, ha! It made perfect eggs, French toast, and excellent homemade pizzas. The house really is fully equipped with everything you could need. We cannot wait to come back next summer and hopefully many after! The owners were quick with all responses and very kind. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful, serene home with us!

Great Vacation House

Great house and location. Only drawbacks were HVAC hard to get climate right inside. Crazy British oven / stove would be awesome in a porous farmhouse in winter but not ideal for summer rental (kicks off a lot of ambient heat). All-in a fantastic vacation house (bring linens and extra pillows!).

Excellent house!!!

We stayed here with our family for a week and it was the perfect house for us—the pool was warm and beautiful, the house was so well equipped with baby gear/gates. The layout of the house was amazing because everyone had their own space. You can’t beat the location!! The owner Paul was incredible and so responsive if we ever had a question. We were so sad to leave and can’t wait to come back!!

Family getaway

The house was beautiful! Super clean! The location was amazing. Close to everything. And the hosts were super responsive and great to work with. The kids loved the ping pong table and the adults enjoyed cooking on the Aga stove. I forgot to bring our rice cooker so we tried making it in the Aga stove. And WOW, Best Rice Ever! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would definitely come back here again.

Take a deep breath and relax

Wow! The description of this beautiful home is accurate. It is modern with classic Cape Cod decor. It is perfect for kids, young, with all the careful thought of gates and pool security, and old, with ping pong and gaming available. The location is ideal. The owners were very responsive and communicative. We felt at home and were able to thoroughly relax.

Chatham House

The Hitching Post House was everything we anticipated and more. The location is perfect as it is less than a 1/2 mile walk into town. You are near the Chatham Anglers baseball field and we even walked to the the Chatham Fishing Pier. The house itself has a perfect set-up for multiple families. We stayed with an extended family where all three upstairs suites were utilized by adults while the children were in the bunk beds in the basement. Th pool and hot tub are great after the beach and the outdoor shower was excellent. There is a nice size yard behind the pool where we played bocce. Paul and Brielle have many lawn games, scooters, small bikes, and 6 beach chairs to utilize. There is ample space to dine both indoors and outdoors. Paul and Brielle we excellent regarding communication before and during our trip! We were given Brielle’s cell phone number which we only needed to use for check-in. Overall, this was an amazing vacation and this house was excellent in all regards!
