About the host
Hosted by John Daileanes
My wife and I have lived in Amesbury, MA, for over 25 years and have raised both of our children there. My wife is a high school English teacher in Amesbury while I am the high school athletic director for Masconomet Public Schools.
We were fortunate enough to pack up the family mini van each summer to roadtrip to Chatham for a week. We just love the Cape! We convinced my wife’s brother and his wife to join us on our family vacations in Chatham, and now we co-own this special home in the heart of the town.
My brother-in-law and sister-in-law are both optometrists who live in Sterling, MA. They also have two young adult children. The cousins are very close who love spending time together on and off the Cape.
Why they chose this property
This is our family's dream place to be. We love the downtown, baseball, the people we have met, and the beauty of the Cape!
What makes this property unique
We are within walking distance to all amenities, including shops, restaurants, Chatham Bars Inn, local grocery store, Laundromat, CVS, local beaches, etc. We are also the best seat in the house to watch the Chatham Anglers baseball team, part of the best amateur baseball league in the country. While we try to supply overnight basics such as basic soaps, spices, oils, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, laundry soap, and plastic wraps, these items do get depleted. Please plan on picking up paper towels & TP when you grocery shop. Thank you!
