OCEAN FRONT, ground level, end unit.

Maui Sunset Resort is one of the premiere resorts in all of Kihei. The grounds are landscaped with golf course style grass, bright orange flowering plants, and tall tropical swaying palms overhead. Our condo is ground level, so you can walk out on the patio and be only steps away from the large pool and hot tub. County maintained tennis courts and pickle ball courts are nearby for those that want to play. There are shared resort-maintained outdoor BBQ grills for guest use.
Our condo, on the ground floor is ideally located on the oceanfront end of the resort, you are less than a 1 min walk from the patio to Sugar Beach. This spacious condo has nearly 1600 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and was completely remodeled in 2019. Enjoy dinner at the large eat-in island inside or smaller outdoor lanai dining.
Within walking distance of the condo are restaurants, and convenient style stores, while Costco and the airport are a 20 min drive away. Kihei is also a great central location for any of your day trips around the island.

The unit worked very nicely for our family with young kids. The big grass out front was great for running around and playing off the lanai. Nice big kitchen. Easy beach access though a bit rocky. We loved being able to see the ocean and the whales from the lanai. Good stay!

This place is really central to all the main destinations in Maui. Not too far to Lahaina, Wailea, Haleakala, and road to Hana - so if you’re trying to hit the majority of things to see in Maui, would recommend staying here. The pool and hot tub were nice features to use when you’re too tired to adventure out. The beach is also right outside which is awesome - the water wasn’t as clear as some other beaches, but, around the time we went it was a little more cloudy than usual I think due to recent storms. Kitchen is nice and big. The only issues were the intermittent bugs in the place but it is Hawai’i and islands tend to have these more than what we’re used to. Otherwise, this place easily accommodated the 6 of us. The 3 bathrooms were especially nice with a larger group. Hosts are responsive and check in is very easy. The place also has a cooler bag and beach chairs which were a nice addition.

The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The host communication was good. The kitchen was will equipped but only salt and pepper for spices and some of the draws did not work. The door lock was finicky and sometimes we had to punch in code three times but never failed us. Location was nice close to beach, pool and sunsets. The beach is public so there are a lot of people walking past the condo.

This is a great unit for families traveling with kids. The unit is on the ground floor right next to the pool and so it provides easy access to the outdoors all day long, which is a game changer when you have kids. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable, also great having three bathrooms and three bedrooms, everyone had their own space. Kitchen was well stocked, but as others noted some of the drawers were broken but once that was figured out we didn't try to open them again. The Maui Sunset is a great condo complex, even though its "older" the grounds are impeccably maintained and the everything is clean. The access to the beach was great for the kids and it was also easy to walk up and down. This place is called Maui Sunset for a reason, and let me tell you we never missed one! Would definitely recommend for families.

Family stay in central Maui

This was the ideal place for our family for 7 nights. Ground floor was so nice to walk directly into the grass just steps away from the coast where people gather to watch the sunset every night. The condo itself is family friendly with a well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, grills and a pool. This was our first time on Maui and we’d definitely stay here again.

Amazing location and condo for a family vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners were very responsive and made coordination of our stay very easy. The condo was very clean and all amenities were easily accessible. The location on the ground floor made for a very pleasurable stay for our multi-generational family. We loved how close the beach and resort amenities (pool, tennis courts etc) and the beach were. Great condo for a family vacation!

We loved our stay in this condo. Such a great location with a huge kitchen and lovely ground level patio. The hot water tank alarm went off during our stay and owners promptly got help. Kitchen was quite well stocked for cooking - only missing a large frying pan.
