Cottage on Inverness Bay!

This is a unique opportunity to experience an Inverness cottage of your own. It is located on six acres stretching along the beginning of Tomales Bay. Enjoy gardens, flowers, orchard, marshes and year-round creek. There is an abundant variety of birds and wildlife.

Tomales Bay is at your back door, providing endless vistas of beauty and interest. Enjoy the ever-changing flow of water and quality of light. As the tide rises, take in the reflection of sky and rolling hills from the opposite shore, or the full moon rising over Black Mountain. The views are expansive.

As the tide recedes, watch for the variety of birds foraging for food along the shore, or footprints of deer as they move through the area. You may enjoy the view from the living room, outdoor deck, or sitting at the edge of the bay.

The cottage is approximately 3 miles from the Point Reyes National Seashore visitor Center, and just 2 miles from the town of Inverness.

Everything was as advertised. The kitchen was well equipped, as we like to cook our own meals. The heaters worked well and we were very comfortable. The setting is beautiful and the house has big windows to highlight the view.

Quiet and secluded cozy cottage.

Very restful, peaceful and pleasant stay in the cottage. Close to many trails as well as town. Birds and flowers all around and enough amenities to enhance our stay. Would stay here again, Louise was a wonderful host and the cottage was just what we needed to recharge and rejuvenate.

This is the third cottage we have stayed at in the Point Reyes area. All were excellent, but this was the very best. It is such a beautiful spot and the cottage is perfect for two. We love Point Reyes and all the wonderful hiking trails and I think this is the one time that our cottage was so perfect that we enjoyed getting back from out outings as much as we enjoyed our outings.

Our rating is not 10/10 but 30/30. Three visits over the last three years, and each as good as the next. A special way to experience Point Reyes. Cozy and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the wetlands from the living room couch or the backyard boardwalk. If you bring a book, expect to be continually pulled away from the page by the beauty all around.

Secluded Cottage on the bay

Great secluded cottage with great views to the east, lots of birds, deer visit regularly and very relaxing. Close to hiking trails, beaches restaurants, etc. we will be back!
