You're on vacation. Stroll to where you want to go. And leave your car at your home away from home. We want you to have a "5 star" and experience, and so "Beach Point Cottage" has been years in the making... creating the perfect vacation house you'll want to return to year after year. Quite literally from top to bottom, this four bedroom, 2 full bathroom house, has been restored... from refinished hardwood floors to a brand new roof to a new laundry center on the first floor.
It's used exclusively as a vacation rental - so it will be fresh and clean... and you won't have to deal with other people's "stuff." It's also professionally managed, maintained, and cleaned - to ensure an outstanding experience. Plus we utilize a special enhanced cleaning protocol.

We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it. Clean, spacious and welcoming. You will be quite close to your neighbors but, because you are close to town, everything is walkable. The place is great for families or a large friend group, especially if you have children. The front porch is private and there is a deck out back that was great for grilling but less private.

Building family memories

Great time in a wonderful community, hiking, biking, shopping, cooking. You do not even need a car. Rent e bikes. Such a wonderful time, there are not many places like this in the US. It is a treasure.

Family fun in Bar Harbor

Great house for a five day get away with family (6 adults, 4 kids), clean, plenty of space. Kids loved nearby skate park while adults poked around town, and of course - the magical Acadia hikes!

Perfect Vacation

Our family of five loved our stay at Beach Point Cottage. The location to the town, restaurants, and proximity to Acadia was wonderful and the set up in the house couldn't have been more perfect. We had everything we needed and created memories that will last forever. Highly recommend!!

Fall in Bar Harbor

The property was in an ideal location with easy access to all that Bar Harbor has to offer. The host did a great job preparing us for our stay with lots of restaurant and activity suggestions. The house was perfect for our group of six. Would definitely recommend this property for groups visiting the Bar Harbor area.

Fabulous Find in Bar Harbor

Very clean house with plenty of space. Great location makes for an easy walk to any location in Bar Harbor, and easy access to Acadia. Host was most gracious and proactive with great communication. Will look to stay here again!

We traveled 10 hours by car for the MDI Marathon long weekend/family trip and were so delighted to arrive in beautiful Bar Harbour. This beautiful, spacious, super-clean cozy house was perfect for our family of 6 and 2 dogs! Walkable to Main Street in Bar Harbour, a short drive to Acadia National Park - beds were so comfortable and entire house is updated and well maintained. Loved everything about it!

Great location, Great house

This house is a short walk to all the restaurants, bars and shops of Bar Harbor. It's very roomy and clean. It felt like home. Our host was wonderful. Checked in during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay. I would definitely come back to visit!

Great location and very clean!

This is a perfect location and great house for families. We are frequent VRBO renters and this house met all expectations and criteria…super clean, walkable to everything, comfortable beds, coffee available for the first morning, all paper products, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, and many other amenities. Also great communication with owner. Highly recommend.

This house was centrally located with easy walking to the restaurants, shops and beautiful shore path in Bar Harbor as well as to the bus stop at the Village Green to Acadia.

Access to Acadia NP & Bar Harbor

Perfect location and arrangement for 10 adults, 2 - 2 year olds and 1 infant. Location for getting to Acadia NP each day for hikes and walking into Bar Harbor being 1 block away made it a very convenient location. Host was very helpful and responsive. House has all the amenities needed for cooking and doing laundry. Really nice to have a dining table that fits 10 to allow us to be at the table together.

Close to everything

I go away every Columbus Day Weekend with a group of friends. This year marked our 25th year and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. House was clean, plenty of space and location was the best. Parked our cars on Friday and never moved them till Monday when we left. Would highly recommend this home especially if you want to be close to everything.

Family vacation

This house was perfect! It was probably the most well stocked rental I’ve had. It was fully stocked with all the essentials. It was great not having to bring towels, sheets, and even cleaning supplies. The beds were very comfortable. We never used our car unless we went into Acadia which was a very short drive. Other than that everything was walking distance. The communication was great from the booking to checkout. I would absolutely book this house again.

A wonderful cottage just one block off of Main Street - quiet neighborhood but then a quick walk down the street and you are in downtown Bar Harbor. Logan was the best host - so kind and patient when I would contact him with questions on information he previously provided. He was always very prompt in responding and also reached out to make sure everything was good. The cottage was super clean and had everything we could need. The master bed (the only one we used) was very comfortable. Would love to stay here again - thank you Logan!

The perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor!

I can't say enough about this property. We came up for a weekend with two other couples and this house was a big part of the great time we had! For starters....Location, location, location! You can't beat it. Close to everything in town yet on a quiet street. The house is a very comfortable space with great areas to hang out, eat, etc. The bedrooms are a great size with very comfortable mattresses. Plus, a very well-stocked kitchen. Lastly, Logan was a fantastic host. Extremely responsive and helpful. Again, I can't recommend this place enough for your visit to Bar Harbor!

Girls Weekend

It is an older home, with a charming old-style front sun room, while the inside has been nicely refurbished. The location is excellent. It is situated in an older neighborhood, which initially surprised us - but we quickly discovered that it's only a block off the main road where assorted Inns are located. So there's easy access to restaurants, shops, and the water in Bar Harbor. While we decided to drive into Acadia, we could have easily walked to the free shuttle stop in the heart of Bar Harbor. In addition, there was a lovey element of hospitality - there was a welcome basket with a few drinks and snacks, as well as enough coffee supplies to get us through the first morning. We arrived late and very much appreciated that touch, but even without the coffee on hand, a great little coffee shop was just a few minutes walk. In addition, when we reached out to Logan he responded within minutes - so on the off chance that you run into a problem, I’m sure it’ll be resolved quickly.

Beach Point Cottage

We had an absolutely fabulous week at Beach Point cottage. We had 9 people ranging from ages 14 - 82. The place is very comfortable, clean and cozy. Lots of fun nightime conversations, drinks and games at the large dining room table. It was also great working with Logan who provided great insights on the house, the town and the park. He was soo helpful and happy to answer any questions at anytime before and during the trip. And of course it is right in one of the most beautiful towns. Walking to where the water and the fabulous view is takes 10-15 minutes or so (depending on who you are walking with) and it is a great walk as you walk by all kinds of restaurants, bars and shops (which can be difficult to walk by without going in). A fabulous town. And it can be difficult to find parking in the town so staying where we were was great. So we loved Beach Point Cottage, we also loved the beautiful town and views, of course we loved the park and the hikes and the views, all of the recommendations Logan had given us, the people we met, and did I mention the views? We had 2 days when a storm and fog came in and the views disappeared which made us appreciate them even more when they came back..... Beach Point Cottage was perfect for our family vacation in Maine and we plan to be back.

Great location in Bar Harbor

We had a group of 6 adults and 3 children. The location is a close, easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor and just a 5 minute drive to the entrance of Acadia NP. The house is older but has had some renovations. All the bedrooms are close to each other on the 2nd floor with 1 bathroom on the 2nd floor and 1 on the main level. The kitchen is well stocked and the internet worked well. The table for 10 was perfect for our family meals and card games. One word of caution is that because the house is older the doors and floors can be noisy, so if you have light sleepers or people that aren't on the same schedule, it could be an issue (even though it was not a problem for us). I would not hesitate to stay again if we visit Bar Harbor in the future.
