Cabin was great! Had everything we needed and being close to Custer and the Mickelson trail was wonderful! Really nice to have somewhere to come back to and relax and grill some food after sightseeing all day.
We stayed here on vacation! It was the perfect distance from Custer as our son wrestled Saturday night. The house was very clean and comfortable, felt like we were at home! Nicole was great, and checked in on us! Highly recommend staying here!
Wonderfully clean and well stocked with any item you could need! Beautiful location with great access to main roads, just a few minutes from Custer. Perfect for families!
House worked great for us and just under 10 minutes drive in to Custer. I was a little nervous with my little kids being outside as the house is near the highway but we kept a close eye and it was fine. The grill and outdoor table and chairs were nice to have and the rooms worked well for us - we put the day bed in the room with the three twin beds so all four could sleep in one room. The stars were amazing to view from the house being away from any city lights.

The cabin was clean, well stocked, and in a location close to all of the area attractions. We had a great stay.
The house was perfect for two families with kids to stay. Check-in was smooth, the house was thoroughly cleaned, and the yard was well cared for. The house is very near a busy highway. However, there is enough yard space and our kids were old enough to stay far away from it. It was perfect for the kids to explore and run around while also being easily supervised. There was a power outage for a few hours during our stay and were impressed with Nicole's prompt response and that the cabin has backup power for the WiFi to make phones still usable. While waiting for the power company to restore power to the area, we loved grilling out and enjoying the trail just outside. We would stay here again and again next time we are in the area, we loved it so much!
Very easy to get to in main hwy, nicely put together house with a cozy feeling. Loved the bedrooms, the spacious feeling. Was a great place to "come home to" after a day of adventures!
This was our second stay at this cabin in Custer. Nicole is an excellent host, great communication and has thought of every little detail throughout the cabin! The cabin is spacious and provides everyone room to spread out after a long day of checking out the sights in the Black Hills.
The place was great. The location could not have been better for doing what ever you wanted in the Black Hills area and also for a quick trip to Devils Tower. Greg
This property was the perfect place to stay while we explored the Black Hills area! It had everything we needed, communication was easy, and the location was convenient. We enjoyed the large yard and the access to the trail. After full days of hiking and sight seeing, it was nice to come back and relax in the coziness of the cabin!
We loved our stay at this cabin. The cabin was well stocked, with a lot of extra touches. The location for us was great, most of the things we wanted to do were within a half hour of the cabin. We’d gladly stay here again!
Great property for a single family with young children! Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your time in the Black Hills. Easy access to Custer and other attractions. Very clean and well kept property.
My parents, husband and I had a terrific 4- day stay. The cabin home is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. Nicole has thought of every detail necessary for a pleasant, convenient stay. The furniture, beds and linens were comfortable. The kitchen was well-furnished. The decor was artistic and unique. Five stars! Highly recommend!
We were here in SD to take my daughter to Mount Rushmore and wanted something other than the “hotel” experience where we could cook and do laundry after long days of seeing the sights. This cabin was PERFECT and the owners could not have been more helpful or hospitable with their home and recommendations. I highly recommend this property and would stay again in a heart beat
Very nice place. Enjoyed having all the comforts of home. The layout was very thoughtful and efficient. Close enough to the area attractions to be easy drive but far enough out to not be in the hustle and bustle of the town. Suited our families needs wonderfully. Loved this place!
