Silvana was the perfect host, and the communication was excellent! Check in was very efficient, and the location was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the rooftop patio, where we spent several evenings and every morning. I would stay there again.

Amazing stay!

We had an amazing visit to Rome. The apartnent was perfect for my family of 4. The location was excellent and we really enjoyed our morning coffee on the private terrace.

Location handy to all the spots for our first trip to Rome: close to Jewish Quarter, Campo de Fieri square for morning market with fresh produce. Short walk to Argentina bus and taxi plaza. We stayed here with my 85 year old dad. Loved the outdoor terrace for relaxing after busy sightseeing and the elevator is why we could stay on top floor. Showers are very low pressure water. Kitchen well stocked with crockery. Was some olive oil etc in cupboard which was nice to not need to buy all that stuff when we wanted to have a dinner at apartment.

Location is superb and the roof deck is wonderful. Our host was very responsive and did her very best to address a few plumbing issues - some of which were the fault of the municipality and part of life in an historic structure / city.

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids, 9 and 12) really enjoyed this property! The location is fantastic. We didn't cook, but the kitchen had everything we needed if we wanted to. Pretty quiet at night and comfy beds. I would have enjoyed a few more pillows, but that is very minor. I agree with other comments that the stairs are steep and the elevator is slow. That didn't bother us, but for those with claustrophobia or difficulty climbing stairs, it may be an issue. It was the first time our kids had seen a toilet in the shower (the smaller of the two bathrooms). It was fine, but they thought it was hilarious!I suggest getting your kids in bed, and then going up to the balcony with tea, wine, etc. It is so nice in the quiet of the night! Just perfect. We would definitely stay there again if we ever get to go back to Rome!

Great location, quiet and spacious. The terrace was the perfect spot for morning coffee. The apartment needs some repair and the poor water pressure in the main shower is a significant problem.

Concerning the water pressure, as you realized, during your stay there was a general problem in the water supply in all the central aerea of Rome due to a loss in the Municipal pipelines. Great location, top floor, smaller 2 BR, 2 Bath apartment strictly limited to 4 people. Basic functional with A/C. Walking to everything Rome has to offer.

Everything and More!

The property was everything we were hoping for! Old world Italian charm, outdoor space, great location that was tucked away from the crowds, but next to all the wonderful sights, restaurants, etc. Also, Silvana was great at communicating and incredibly helpful with transportation, bag storage, etc.

Let me first say that Silvana is quite a responsive host and there’s nothing inaccurate about the apartment description. The location is great, and the person who met us for our check in was also wonderful. But we were so unhappy with the apartment that we ended up booking a last-minute hotel and leaving. The apartment is on the top floor of a building constructed in the late 1700s. There is a minuscule, slow, and somewhat terrifying elevator that has been attached to the exterior of the building and can transport one person with suitcases, but there are still steps to navigate after leaving the elevator. The apartment is spacious but oddly laid out, simply decorated, and dimly lit. The bathrooms are particularly challenging. In one, the toilet is in the same space as the shower, leaving no dry area for toilet paper. In the other, the shower fixture is old and damaged. The ceiling has a patch of flaking paint. The towels were like sandpaper. We expected a lot better for the price we paid but I should have read the reviews more closely.

I am surprised that VRBO allows people who do not actually stayed in the apartment to leave reviews. This lady did not stay in my apartment; she simply entered into it and decided immediately she would rather stay in an hotel. Those ones who choose to stay in an 18th-century Roman apartment are looking for authenticity and want to live like a local... whereas she preferred the traditional confort of an hotel. I respect her choice, but I find it inappropriate for her to leave reviews—especially ones that do not reflect reality. To understand the level of my apartment one needs to only read the reviews posted prior to hers.

Historic Rome Location

Historic unit in historic location. Walk to all Rome's famous historic locales. Bathroom #2 is very tight. Water pressure is low, and stairs are steep. But you have to remember where you are staying. In a very awesome old, historic neighborhood, walking distance to everything! Food, shops, sites, markets, pubs, restaurants. Would stay there again.

Location, Location, Location!

I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to walk around Rome. 4 of us stayed at this top floor unit with a roof deck for relaxing and looking at the beautiful sights of central Rome. It has plenty of room and a floor plan that worked out perfect. The highlight was being able to walk to all the major attractions. Don’t pass on this one.
