Very peaceful and nice

The place is very nice, peaceful, next to the river and next to very nice places for walking and experience nature. Perfect for enjoy with nature. Kate is very kind and helpful. Her dog Leo is very friendly. Our dog Pluto was very happy all these days. We recommend this place for pepole who loves nature and relax.

We enjoyed staying at your studio.

The studio was nice and comfortable, the bed comfortable and the covers were warm, the shower very small. It was clean except for the kitchen drawers. We cleaned everything we needed, and kept it out of the drawers while we were there. What we really missed was the possibility to heat the place. The temperature was rather low at night, and we had difficulties keeping warm in the evenings. The area is extremely beautiful and sparsely populated., 30 minutes drive to the supermarket and 20 minutes to a bakery. The owners were very kind.

Magical retreat in an idyllic part of the Pyrenees

We loved Le Terrasse from the get-go, it's ideally situated for couples, with (as the name suggests) a fabulous terrace and all the necessary amenities for couples looking for a quiet get away. The entire Moulin De Perle site is just lovely, with a river and a small waterfall towards the bottom of the site. Our little dog Betty loved the river, she spent most of her time there! She also made friends with Kate's dog, Leo; Kate was very lovely and beyond helpful, with suggestions for places to go and things to see. This is an amazing place, set up amongst the vineyards and old Cathar castles, there are so many beautiful villages nearby and walks to do, you are spoilt for choice really. Kate was also very helpful in recommending local growers and vineyard tours, if that is of interest. We really can't recommend this host highly enough, and we were sorry to leave the stunning beauty of the Fenouillèdes.

Short and lovely Holiday

From the first Moment my Husband and myself felt really welcome. Warm hearted People who just wanted us to have a perfect Holiday in the very south of France. The smal Gite has just enough comfort as we needed. I would not advice this place to very tall People(more than 1,90m), because of the Lengh of the bed or very overweight People because of the size of the shower Unit. Great Possiblity for Travellers with Dogs. There is a smart Retriever welcoming everybody. The Area is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. There is really so much to see, old Chateaus, Castles, old Villages and of Course the meditaranian Sea. Wine tasting and even Olive Oil Producers who showed us arround in their Moulins and let us taste the different Types of Olive Oil. We would certainly book this Place again. Thank you very much <3

This little house is an absolute dream!

The buildings stand in a large garden that spans two hillsides with a stream and a little waterfall in between. The Terrace house stands a llittle apart from the other Moulin de Perle buildings, slightly higher up the hill so you get lots of sun from morning till evening. It’s unbelievably quiet; all we heard were birds and the stream. Very few cars drive by. The house is tiny but it has a decent kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, pellet burner plus an electric radiator in the bathroom. As with most holiday homes, some more shelves and (coat) hooks would be handy. We thought there’d be a washing machine but there isn’t, so bring plenty of clothes. A tip if the bed is too soft for you: there are two mattresses on the bed. Remove the lower one and you’ll sleep better. The area is gorgeous! Excellent for hiking, wine tasting and visiting the villages. The people are super welcoming. Just driving to the nearest shops is spectacular with all the phenomenal views. The owner, Kate, is nice and has lots of tips to explore the area. We’d love to come again!

A améliorer

Le gite est tres joli dans une propriété vaste et tranquille. Kate est tres acceuilllante. Le gite est un peu petit et très très ensoleillé. On creve de chaud des que le soleil cogne et aucun ombrage possible. Le coin est beau mais sec. Il faut faire beaucoup de km en voiture pour visiter. Compter en heures car routes sinueuses.

Sejour a fosse dans le calme absolu

Nous avons passé une semaine à Fosse dans le gite de kate dans un endroit magnifique et calme, merci à Kate pour son accueil, tout était parfait, la région, avec ses châteaux cathares, ses gorges et ses balades, est magnifique.

Avre de paix au milieu de la nature, avec le ruisseau qui chuchote en bas du pré, ou vous pouvez allez lire sous les arbres. le gite est splendide et bien aménagé dans l'ancien moulin à aube, tout cela géré par Kate toujours souriante et de bons conseil pour visiter cette belle région. établissement que l'on conseille vivement

Rustig en vrij

Het huis heeft alles wat wij nodig hebben. Het terrein is groot, met een beek om in te badderen en af te koelen, en veel bomen voor onze hangmatten. En we waren vrij om overal rond te hangen. De weg waaraan het huisje staat is heel rustig, dus we hebben genoten van de enorme stilte. Kate is super. Ze laat je met rust als je dat wilt, maar als je hulp nodig hebt, dan staat ze voor je klaar. Ze heeft ons echt uit de afgrond gered. Letterlijker dan je denkt. Kortom, we hebben een fantastische tijd gehad. We raden het aan iedereen aan die van rust en natuur houdt.

Super reposant

La situation est géniale pour se reposer, calme et agréable au milieu de la montagne, idéal pour 2 personnes Le gîte est accueillant et fonctionnel malgré sa petite surface Le 1er village avec des commerces est à 10mn de voiture mais ça vaut le coup Kate, la propriétaire est super sympa, arrangeante et de bon conseil pour tout ce qui est à faire, voir et déguster dans le coin Franchement n’hésitez pas

Kate is a wonderfull host. Any questions goes. If you are looking for a place where you can hear about 5 cars in a day, you hit the right spot. You have to be a animal lover, or be prepared to become one. We had a very nice holiday and are seriously thinking of returning. Because with Kate, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.

Chouette séjour

Environnement trés sympa, nature et calme! Le gite et simple et confortable. L’hôte Kate est trés disponible et agréable. Nous étions avec deux petits chiens, parfait pour eux. Séjour trés court, a refaire plus longuement. Un petit bémol, pas de wifi lors de notre séjour.
