Farm house was roomy and clean and had a lot of amenities to make our stay comfortable (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tissues, paper towels, napkins, coffee, coffee filters, salt and pepper, various cooking utensils and pots and pans). The antiques throughout the house were impressive. Convenient place to stay.
Beautiful home! Very clean with lots of fun antiques. Comfortable chairs for chatting in the living room, new-looking window A/C units in each bedroom, and we loved all of the quilts! Kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed and more. Great experience and great hostess!
The house is very cool and great effort was put into the decor and arrangement. Very comfortable beds and everything you need is there. great communication!
Very nice old farm house with modern conveniences.. Comfortable and quiet. The antiques brought back memories of me visiting my grandparents back in the day.
We loved the farmhouse for a weekend wedding in Frederick. It was close but far enough away where my parents, husband, and dog could stay without the hustle and bustle of the city. The house and property were perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!
We used the house for the bridal party to get ready for my wedding at Musket Ridge. It worked perfectly! There was plenty of light for hair and makeup and the dining room was great for all of us to eat lunch. Highly recommend for any Musket Ridge weddings!
We had such a wonderful time staying here! The property is beautiful and the home is so cozy, with fun decor. We walked 5 min to get dinner in Myersville and spent many sunny hours on the screen porch. Great location to access hiking and outdoor activities in WV and VA as well.
My husband is a huge antique fan and this house has a lot. The location was nice and close to bigger cities but yet still far enough away. There was a lot of traffic noise but this could be due to the highway road construction. The owner was very tentative when we talked with her. It was also nice that it is pet friendly. If you are looking for an old farmhouse get away yet still close to modern amenities this is a perfect place to stay.
I booked a “staycation” for myself on New Year’s weekend. My dog and I enjoyed the quiet time together. The location is great and the house was nice and roomy. Our host was great! Will definitely plan on staying again!
Cozy property with great view of the mountains. Right near Antietam Battlefield and Harper’s Ferry. Very comfortable with no fuss on check in or check out. The dogs loved running around in the yard.
Overall, it was a lovely stay. The only thing was that it wasn’t too clean when we got there (such as the dishes and the counter) However, the appliances worked well, was spacious, loved the outdoor scenery. My dog got to be free outdoors.
My friends and I did a girls weekend of hiking and wine tastings, and the house was a perfect place for us to stay. Very clean, packed with everything you need, and great location. The pictures don't do it justice. Plus, the view from the back is spectacular!
Lovely visit with my family of four. So much love and detail in the home decor and amenities. Owner thought of everything! Great location! Beautiful backyard sunset. We would definitely come back!
This house is amazing! It’s like you are stepping back in time with the way this house is decorated but it is all pristine! Everything you could need is in the house. My husband and I stayed with our infant son just for one night on our way home from family vacation so we didn’t explore the town a lot but felt very safe in the area. We took a short morning walk and enjoyed the front porch as well. The views behind the house are beautiful. Great place to stay if you are looking for a house with charm!
I can't wait to see the pictures. My daughter got married this weekend in Myersville and I rented this place for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in. The pictures will be incredible!!! Thank you so much for your great communication during our stay.
The farmhouse was adorable. The town is very small but close to local historical places and wineries. We had a great time just relaxing and enjoying the slow life. Lisa was a great host, very accommodating and easy to work with! We would recommend this rental for those who want to just sit back and take it easy!
