Beautiful home! Lots of character, very comfortable! A lot of care was taken to make this property fell like home! Would definitely stay again! Thank you, Heather!!
We had 6 in our group and it was perfect especially for the price. Super clean, great responsive host, good location. Bakery directly across the street and ice cream and sandwich shop just down the road at the light. Will definitely stay here again.
The Host Heather have the most beautiful personality. She was very helpful. Told us the history of the home which we was able to appreciate everything about this beautiful home.
Great house to use during our visit to Jefferson. Kitchen is well equipped, and coffee supplies are provided. Comfy beds plus air conditioning made for great sleep.
We loved visiting! Wish we could've stayed longer. The accommodations were great; super comfortable and inviting. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks for having us!
We had a great stay at the Rusty Rose! It was decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. We especially loved walking across the street in the morning for coffee and donuts at the little bakery in town. Would definitely stay here again!
The house was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. A big plus, since we got in late, was a market just 400 feet down the street that is open late and a nice bakery right across the street. I just think there should be some mention of the stairs going to the bedrooms being a touch difficult to manage when you get to the top.

Hello ! Thank you for your review Dennis! I think this brings up a great point for guest ms to understand this home was built in the 1800's and while the staircase is grand & beautiful, it does have rails & a few landings which may be difficult for some to navigate as I've tried to disclose the listing. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay :)
The house was charming and nicely decorated. Very clean and well stocked with the comforts of home in the kitchen. It worked well for our group of 5.The only thing we found uncomfortable were the dining room chairs. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
Clean, good appliances. We used the grill and the fire pit. Cooked breakfast in the oven and stove.

Liked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
The property was close to the areas we wanted to explore and Heather, our host was very responsive to our questions and concerns. The property is on a busy highway with a lot of traffic. The oven was dirty and cooking pots/pans old and worn. We didn’t feel comfortable cooking meals there. Our bedrooms were comfortable and had televisions. We especially enjoyed the fire pit outside.

Hi Michele ~ thank you so much for your review. As said during communications during your stay, my cleaner noticed the spillage in the over prior to your ck in but we were under a 4 hour time window for a turnover and was afraid the smell from the self cleaning oven would me more detrimental to your stay then an oven with some spillage, that was immediately addressed following your stay. I did visit the property the day of your ck out which you left impeccable to check on the oven & while there was spillage, it was nothing overwhelming. As for pots and pans, we do provide non stick cookware, pots, and pans (and more then most STR's provide) but obviously it gets its use with staying so booked. This is a good opportunity to say that while we do offer all the essentials, guests may opt to bring their own favorite cookware & bakeware if cooking in during a stay. My reviews stand strong on our commitment to hosting :) Thank you for staying!
Visiting family over the holidays. Our trip was great. Location was perfect. Rental house accommodations fulfilled our needs, was clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.
Three couples stayed for a wedding in Leesburg. Great place for the price. Well appointed and comfortable. Would not recommend for folks uncomfortable with stairs as the stairs are a bit challenging.
Loved the property, but noise levels during the week were excessive. Enjoyed the access to the bakery and businesses throughout Jefferson. Was very convenient to Harper's Ferry and Fredericksburg. The only issue was the very close proximity to Highway 180 with 2 of the 3 bedrooms at the front of the house.

Hello! Thanks for the review. Per the description the home is located in town. We try our best thru pictures & description to give an accurate picture of the home location. In order to have the amenities as described of a bakery and meat market directly across the street, we hope to further give the accurate picture that the home is located in town and there will be road noise. I feel a 3 rating when the house was otherwise perfect is a bit unfair considering all the information was provided but thank you for your review and staying.
We rented the house for our family, who were in town for a graduation party. It was exactly what was needed, although it would have helped to know that the 2nd twin bed was a trundle/on the floor. Also, we think there may be a friendly spirit in residence.
We stayed at this property for a wedding in the area. The house was provided a great space to relax. It was well stocked and was the perfect location for all of our wedding festivities.
We loved the house. The location was perfect to travel via MARC to DC. The beds were by far the most comfortable of any place I've stayed! Definitely would consider re-booking!!!
