Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Quick Truckee trip was a success

Everything about this home was great and it was a perfect spot for my best friend’s wedding right up the road. Cute home, all the amenities we needed, and in a perfect location. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the beds are not that great, but because it was only for a few nights, it wasn’t a huge deal. I’d easily stay here again (and bring my own pillow) and hope it’s available the next time we’re in Truckee!

Overall a really nice cabin. Great location, easy access to local activity’s. Love the window seats!!!!!! However, the house needs some general maintenance (deck nails are popping out, drawer in kitchen was broken, and screen door roller was broken). Also could use some updated furniture (beds).

No WiFi

The property had no wifi which we needed for an all day conference call and why we rented the place So, we had to rent a hotel room for two nights due to checkin and checkout policies so we could get wifi and do our call- also had no tv for the kids- we deserve some refund due to these problems- customer service was no help Also had no cell service since the internet was out. We should be provided with at least a partial refund since we had to rent a hotel room for $500 give it take to do our business.

Summer lacrosse tourney

Overall, as advertised. Cute place. Would stay again. No issues with what was advertised and what we got. Only issues are: Creepy dolls staring at you in master BR. That’s what the guest in that room said. Pull out sofa- not as advertised. Not in good upkeep maybe a small child can sleep on it due to the sofa bed incredibly uncomfortable. We were not able to use this feature as planned. Cleaners- they use Fabulosa to the point where he had to air out the house when we got there. For whatever reason they cleaned out the refrigerator, freezer and the ice cube trays. Way over use of Fabulosa. Tainted the flavor of the ice cubes to where we couldn’t use them, and definitely left an odd flavor in the food from the fridge. Oh all the place was great and I would definitely stay there. This is just some small feedback for them to look at and hopefully address, but I would recommend this place to other people.

Comfortable stay

We had a great stay at this house. The location was perfect, close to Truckee and a nice backyard area with trees and snow for play. The house is comfortable but a bit worn. The carpet has stains and the TVs did not appear to have any channels. The WiFi is a bit slow but adequate. But on the positive side, the house had comfortable beds, a dining table that could seat six, the wood stove was cozy, and we had a great time.

Great home and location

Spent two nights for a quick ski trip. Great home, clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds and a nice living room. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the Internet and TVs for streaming.

Nice deck, rumie, great parking. Is a bit outdated, hot,it needs ciling fans in all the bedrooms livingroom and dining area, some of the windows were closed tight, so it made the nights hot very uncomfortable to sleep. they also need a gas grill. We travel to Walmart to purchase one to make some of the meals out door more sitting out side would be nice to enjoy the beautiful relaxing back to enjoy with your love ones.

Cozy and comfortable accommodations

This house had plenty of space for our family of four. There were some provided board games for the kids and a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of pots and pans to choose from. The location is super central to many ski resorts in the area. We would gladly book again and the check-out process was super easy, highly reccommend!

House is old and dirty

The house definitely needs some TLC. Couple main gripes: 1 - The dishes in the cabinet and the serving spoons were dirty when we arrived. They clearly had not been washed properly. The dishwasher is so old it doesn't get much off the dishes. 2 - The pans are very old. The cast iron skillet had all of the cast iron scraped off the outside from abusive washing. 3 - The house is advertised as having high speed internet, but it's DSL and is so slow we could barely check our email let alone do a video conference or any real work. It literally wouldn't connect at all sometimes. 4 - Hot water ran out after one shower and wasn't enough to fill up even one bath. I'd recommend that the owner installs some updated appliances, faster internet connection and some new dishes from Target.
