On the wharf. XXL private deck on the water. In town yet very quiet.
Nantucket designer cottage in town and on the water!
Fully restored. On the wharf. In town. Huge private deck. See more reviews on airbnb.
With a complete renovation, we brought this fishing cottage into the 21st century, while honoring its past and original character. Behind the walls lined with reclaimed wood and underneath the wide plank floors, it is all modern!
Originally built in the 1800s, no exact date known, just as a single room fisherman’s shanty, it was dismantled and reconstructed right here in 2019. Though we added more rooms and upper floor during the reconstruction, it remains a humble, yet luxurious and comfortable abode.
The living space of the cottage is very open, taking advantage of vast water views while bringing in the salt air and wonderful light through a double french door that spills the daily life open onto an enormous floating deck (400 sq. ft) in the back. From here, step on your private dock with a paddleboard (in season and offered as-is and at your own risk), and the world is your oyster.
The open pro kitchen is extremely functional with a Viking stove, large Smeg fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, deep farmhouse sink, and open shelving. Cast iron pans and clay pots. Plates and bowls came from Brimfield over 15 years ago and have traveled with us till now they found their forever home. The lamp above the sink is salvaged from a warehouse in Poland, a country especially close to our hearts.
The living room, the original “single room” from the 1800s, with wooden ceiling beams, features a built-in daybed (standard twin) for storytelling or napping and an antique chest that was a gift from a dear friend many years ago.
The dining area marries all open spaces for catch-all gatherings. Vintage finds and handmade housewares collected during close and far travels ensure an eclectic feel throughout and a soft “new New England” fishing village vibe.
Up the stairs, the sleeping quarters are very serene with a neutral palette, natural textures, and a couple of pieces of small furniture.
In the Master Bedroom (queen bed), the view from the bed creates the illusion that you are floating on the sea. There is something magical in the way the light comes in through this window, you might end up reading, journaling, creating, and daydreaming, even if that’s not what you usually do.
The Bunk Bedroom (four twins) is well-suited for children or single travelers. In theory, it sleeps four, but if you are all full-grown adults, we suggest three. Nostalgic, making you feel like a kid again, with a unique beach ball chandelier. You might just drift off at night and you might think it is for real, especially if you peek through the window.
Bathing is, of course, all modern and just like everything else, squeaky clean. One full bath on each floor. White subway tiles, glass-enclosed showers, exposed plumbing fixtures, deep vintage-inspired utility sinks. Despite these luxuries, you might choose our third option, a cedar-enclosed outdoor shower!
This cottage keeps on giving. It gives calmness and peace. Come alone for restorative time or to finish your novel, or come with family to bond and refocus on what really matters. We are honored you took the time to get to know it a bit, we invite you to come and stay.

Great location on the marina walkable to restaurants, shopping, public transportation. ,Lovely outdoor deck space on the water, well appointed - perfect for our family. Look forward to next time.
We really enjoyed our week staying at this lovely cottage! Beautiful view from the deck overlooking the water and an easy stroll into town. The cottage and kitchen was well stocked and the property manager, Alina, was great to work with. We will rent here again!
Excellent on all counts. Cannot say enough about this property. In town, walkable to all shops and restaurants. Gorgeous deck. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Excellent water pressure. Nice neighbors. Parking.
My wife and I had a wonderful get away during our time at the cottage. Very clean, comfortable, well

thank you so much Peter! what a beautiful gift from you to wake up to. Thank you!!!
23 Commercial was a fabulous location with a beautiful view and easy access to anything you need or want in town. Also, since we had a car, the private parking spaces were extremely helpful to have, and getting in and out of town heading East was no problem at all. The home was cozy and well appointed… a perfect size for my wife and me, plus teenage daughter. We hope to visit again!

hi Tom, i truly appreciate your review. Thank you so much! Wishing you and your family health, happiness, and togetherness for the upcoming school year! Our very best, Alina
My family has a summer home in Nantucket and needed a rental nearby for overflow. My father in law is an avid fisherman; but finds it’s too difficult to fish via a boat or surf. The back deck on the harbor was perfect! He fished everyday and loved being on the water! The location so close to town was awesome as well! Communication with Alina was very easy! An excellent choice for our family!
Absolutely lovely cottage on the wharf with a impressive sized deck. Walking distance to everything in town. Bunk beds on the second floor have four mattresses in total.
Good bath rooms and excellent communication from the host. Also comes with two parking spots which was absolutely vital as parking was surprising difficult in town for long periods of time.
My family and I had an amazing two weeks in Nantucket! This property was absolutely perfect. The location could not have been better. Easy stroll to town and 5-10 minute ride to most beaches. If you have a car, they have a private parking space right next to the house. Very convenient. The house is newly renovated and we were the first guests to stay at the new property. It is beautiful and really clean. Edin is amazing and will reply to your text right away if you have any questions. The most amazing part of the house is the deck. I sat out there every night with a glass of wine watching the boats go by at sunset. AMAZING!!! I would 100% stay at this property again.
Very nice and well-maintained property. Appliances are high-quality. Deck is beautiful, directly on the bay. Nice location close to town but far enough away to be quiet. Property manager very friendly and responsive to questions.
Beautiful house located right on the water. It was very close to the ferry and just a 5 minute walk to the center of town. Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to a future stay!
This property is a lovely home in a great location. Right in the middle of town, but still a quiet setting . It was super clean and comfortable. Very nice finishes. Had everything we needed. Highlights were the back deck over the harbor and the sea kayak. If you're on Nantucket it's a great place to stay.
Loved the cottage and location. On the warf, on the water, just a few short steps to town and all the restaurants and shops. Nothing compares to downtown Nantucket. The cottage was clean, bathrooms spotless, plenty of towels. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was the lack of furniture. Bed in master was very comfortable. Other than the day bed, the living area lacked a couch or comfortable chairs for relaxing. A small tv would be nice as well.
We really enjoyed this home. The location is great, a perfect little community in the center of town. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were stocked with lovely products. The owners clearly have a knack for design.
The only piece of feedback I would share is that you could provide some of the necessary basics like a grill, laundry detergent, toilet paper, beach umbrella, beach cooler. We left the last few items in the house, so hopefully others will enjoy.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the property and would be happy to return to it.
We are a family if five , two adults , three children, ages 9, 11, 13. We all enjoyed our stay in this home. It’s rustic and unique, the kids loved the bunk beds ! Sleeping with the sound of the water and soothing clinking of the boats was so relaxing! The immense deck allowed us to enjoy the water an views all day! The kayak and paddle board were used daily by all of us ! To top it off , the location was fabulous, the kids bikes and walked around town independently ! Highly recommend .
Absolutely wonderful week long stay. Excellent location close to town but still quiet. Long days spent on the deck watching the boats and harbor scene. Well stocked kitchen, upstairs bedrooms overlooking the water, and an open first floor plan make this house the perfect ACK getaway!
