Lovely renovation with good open space and yard for entertaining. Booked for a family stay for a local wedding. Wonderful option for a peaceful getaway, too. Very well equipped kitchen. Could use minor additions: needs hanging space in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and additional towel bars and hooks in all bathrooms. That said, we had a delightful stay. I have considerable family in the area, and would definitely book this again as a base to visit them.
The property worked well for our family and friends as we had a birthday dinner for our group. The large dining table accommodated our group nicely (but the end chairs need to be replaced as you sink into them as though they have no bottom). The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped. A coffee grinder would be a great addition. The property manager was quick to respond to any of our questions and requests. Nice layout and remodel to the house in general.
We rented this property to host an annual get together with our friends and so happy that we did! Everyone absolutely LOVED the house - so much that they didn’t want to leave. The house is extremely clean and boasts modern decor with a comfy home feel. It is very spacious and has a large driveway with plentiful parking.
Dave, the owner of the property, was extremely accommodating and communicative, we are so thankful we chose his property and plan on renting from him again in the near future.

Thanks again for the kind words! You and your friends are welcome anytime.
The interior and exterior pictures are an accurate reflection of the property. The property is indeed spacious, quiet, and a great location. I gave the rating mostly based on issues the following items: the refrigerator ice maker didn't work which meant refrigerator unit was too warm[too warm for milk], the oven hood wasn't functional because all but one button didn't work[you could not turn off the lights], and the hot water wasn't very hot thus taking a shower meant all hot only. Also there were no "grab bar" like attachments near the showers to use when entering and exiting the showers. Overall, the property is a good place to meet family and friends.
This property is set quite a ways off of the road and just barely has cell service. Once you open the door the place is beautiful and tranquil. There is wifi so you can pair your phone and the place was very clean. There were spots tallish 6'1" husband and son could have used a little more ceiling room in the bedrooms upstairs but the downstairs is very spacious. The deck was nice and big and there was plenty of space to walk the dogs outside. We were there for a wedding weekend so didn't get to use the firepit, but the kitchen was beautiful with newer appliances. Landscapers came on Saturday to clean up leaves which the dogs didn't love, but they don't write reviews. This was overall a great getaway. Communication had a hiccough early. It took a couple weeks and a call to VRBO when trying to add our son, but we got it straightened out in the end. Based on the app/guidebook they have prepared the hosts have tried to think of everything. I suspect the inquiry just somehow got lost in the shuffle.
We recently stayed here for a family trip. Make no doubts this house is clean. The issues we encountered are that there were no trash cans to put trash in. They were at the bottom of a very long driveway. Contacted owner and he said just put the trash in designated area with no trash cans. Didn’t feel totally comfortable with that as we didn’t want to attract unwanted wildlife as this house is back in the woods. When we arrived we noticed we only had a handful of towels. We contacted owner who did respond quickly and let us know that housekeeper took them home with her. She did bring them back and owner ordered more towels on Amazon which were delivered next day. We had to wash those towels prior to using. The final issue was the refrigerator did not seem cold while we were there. We had food go bad in just a couple days. On the day of our checkout we came outside to find a strange man wanting to come into house claiming to be a refrigerator repair man. We were not aware anyone was coming to house. Owner did not make us aware that refrigerator was not working properly and that a repair man was coming. Disappointed in communication and things were not as advertised in VRBO Also there are no curtains on windows in up stairs bedrooms so when sun comes up so are you.
Great house. Just as in the pictures. Feels out in the country but actually very convenient to Hunt Valley and all it has to offer (grocery, shopping, movie theater, restaurants). Comfortable, clean and so quiet. Loved the back deck and back yard. Beds were comfortable and great open space kitchen and living room. Would absolutely stay here again.
This property was our home-away-from-home for an 11-night stay. It is very well appointed, and beautiful and relaxing both inside and out. Although very private, it is within a 5–10-minute drive of things you might need, including restaurants and groceries. We thoroughly enjoyed walking and running on the NCR trails which are incredible, and about a mile away.
Loved the location of this property, very close to activities while still feeling in the middle of nowhere. The house was perfect and looks exactly like the photos. The massive tub was wonderful and one of our favorite activities was lounging and watching the wind in the trees.
This property was the perfect "girl's weekend" getaway. The pictures online do not do it justice. - absolutely beautiful. It was spotless, communication with owner was simple and while the location is fairly remote, we loved that about it. Hopefully we'll be able to book this property for the same weekend next year (and hopefully we won't have another nor'easter.)
House and location were great. Far enough away from the crowds and close enough to be able to get to things easily. Grounds were lovely. Master bedroom and bath were wonderful with very comfortable bed. Very close to river and trail. We had a great time and would stay again.
This home was perfect. Spacious, immaculately maintained, and very comfortable. The property was picturesque and secluded, but not far from grocery stores, etc. I would 100% recommend staying here and will definitely rent again in the future
Everything was perfect. This house was amazing and offered everything that was listed. Definitely will book again and recommend!

About the host

I have been designing outdoor spaces for almost two decades, and not long ago I realized my passion could grow in a new direction. As a getaway enthusiast myself, I recognized the need for vacation rentals that hit an often-missed cross-section—luxury, comfort, and livability. I wanted to create rentals that let you live where you’re visiting, not just sleep over.
